It's hard to even get a director to look your way to greet you, but they sure are willing to talk about payments due! That is literally the only time they fake nice. This one director (or assistant), Jessica, is always loudly gossiping at the end of the day. Unprofessional as parents are walking by. Some other director Briana was also extremely condescending and rude on the phone. The place just has a chaotic and heavy energy. Avoid.

They run this like a school, keep the kids busy and have a really great structure to prepare them for school. During bad weather, if local schools are closed, you can be assured that Tutor Time is closed too. Any excuse to not open or close early, and they'll take it. On the positive side, we were fortunate to have several caring instructors throughout the many years we used TT for my 2 children (from 3 mos to 5 yrs). UPDATE June 2012: Had to take my kids out because they kept getting reinfected by a lice infestation at Tutor Time. Twice, my kids were sent home and NO LICE were found... only unviable nits. Misdiagnosis and reinfection had cost my family time and money. I dropped my review to 2 stars after this debacle. Update: June 2013: I understand TT has new management. I may not like the answers but they try their best. In the beginning it was rough because my son cried everyday while drop off but it got better with time and I'm happy to say that he's enjoys his time there. Due to Covid parents aren't allowed to go in to the class to drop off and I'd have to say that was the hardest part. They have all kinds of activities such as water play, bounce house, and petting zoo, it's nice that the children get to enjoy all these various activities. During his time there he has had Ms. Rose, who was always nurturing and caring; Ms. Gabby who was supportive during his "terrible 2s" and potty training and Ms Emily and Ms Dominique who have ensured he is constantly reaching all his milestones and allowing him to be his playful robust self. As an educator and instructional coach for elementary schools I know how important these foundational skills are and will be eternally grateful for all the work Lightbridge has done for my family. If you are looking for a place where you will see your child develop skills and social/emotional tools needed before starting primary school I highly recommend here !

The directors love my children, the teachers love my children, and I trust that they are happy and safe there. I love that there is a curriculum, each week is a different theme. They learn Spanish and do yoga and exercise and learn the basics like letters, numbers, writing, etc. I love that there are cameras and you can watch what is going on throughout the day. Every teacher knows the children's names even if they aren't in that teacher's class. They take any concerns seriously. The facility is clean and neat and welcoming. No daycare is perfect, I assure you, but Lightbridge is perfect for us and I'm more than happy with the care my children are getting there.

The director Christina should win an Oscar for her acting skills. She will promise you the world and pretend that she cares about your child. We wanted a daycare closer to home so we decided to switch our child over to Tutor Time. Once your child is enrolled, you actually see the horrific practices of this establishment. There is absolutely​ no structure. Children do whatever they want. There is always a different adult in the room. Additionally, they are not compliant with the state laws, which requires 1 teacher for every 5 toddlers. My child was often in a room with 7 other children and 1 unfamiliar face. As previous reviews mentioned, this is a puppy mill that only wants your money. During an 8 hour day, my child's diaper was only changed twice. State law requires that diapers be changed every 2 hours. One of the many teachers​ we saw often spoke down to the children, "you guys are three and you don't know how to place your hands on the wall?" We often walked past the infant room in the afternoon and saw babies crying hysterically because no one was paying attention to them. One day, another baby was biting the edge of a bookshelf as she was teething. No one stopped her from biting the bookshelf and its varnish coating. My maternal instinct knew something was wrong but I just needed my little one to last a few weeks until June. I asked my brother to pick up my little one from Tutor Time because I was going to be at work past my regular schedule. My brother and his girlfriend went in before my usual pick up time and upon walking to the classroom they saw the teacher, Janet, DRAGGING MY CHILD BY ONE ARM ACROSS 5 FEET OF CARPET. THIS DISGUSTING HUMAN BEING ATTEMPTED TO PICK UP MY CHILD BY ONE ARM AND DROPPED HIM. My brother immediately​ told the director, who did not remove Janet from the classroom for another two hours. Christina, the director, was suddenly worried about ratio issues. Compliance is never a concern for them but that day it was. Furthermore, Christina forced herself to cry, in an attempt to show empathy. We were promised the video evidence within 48 hours. We are way past the 48-hour deadline and still waiting for answers. Run far away from this place. I would never want this to happen to any other child.

Apparently he was allowed to roam freely, and not made to participate in activities. They're in 2 different age groups. The kids are basically shoved into a classroom and may go outside for 20 minutes a day (unless outside time is canceled due to cold weather, or hot weather, or weather in general). DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN THERE. They are, like others have stated, the puppy mill of daycares.
