My last dog passed away about 5 years ago, so when we got "Emma", I didn't hesitate to return to The Spotted Dog. Samantha, the groomer, was so calm and reassuring to Emma and me:) she trimmed Emma's nails, cleaned her ears, and bathed and brushed her. She looks like a new and very nice smelling girl. I will be taking Emma back there soon. On a side note, the salon is very clean and tidy. I waited in the lobby for Emma to be finished and I enjoyed reading the magazines:) Thanks for caring about our critters, Spotted Dog,as much as we do! Update: After the Covid closure, Emma really needed a grooming. Brianna ace doggie stylist, didn't disappoint. She had Emma looking fine in no time. Funny thing is the owners son groomed him once & never said anything about him being matted!? Also when the owners son groomed him it was horrific!!! Not onward it the worst groom ever but he cut him in 3 places. Then had to bring him back to get retrimmed!!! Now taking him somewhere else & no mention of him being matted!? We got a call about an hour later that one of them scratched the groomer and we need to come get them. We came back and were very apologetic, and did not do the "MY cat NEVER does that!" routine--they're cats. They will be aggressive at times. That being said, all of our cats have been groomed before with no issues. The lady (the owner, I think?) was hearing none of it and was very rude to us no matter how much we apologized. It became clear quickly when we got home that this groomer clearly has no experience with cats nor any desire to groom cats. It looks like they used canine nail clippers on them (picture attached) and the cats were very spooked. If you don't like cats, just groom dogs! Why even advertise that you groom cats?

We have frequented Polish Paws Salon over the years for our dogs. Our current dog is a terrier -…read morepoodle mix. He seen Cindy since his first appointment. She has been hands down amazing with him. He always looks his best with her. I should say too when we tell him it's time to go see Cindy he wags his tail and gets excited. The minute she comes out to get him from the front she we drop him out, he goes crazy about her. He is immediately running for her or leaping out of our arms for her. He began refusing to go into building of the previous groomer we were using. We do not have this issue at Polished Paws, he easily gets out of the car and leads me into the building. Rebekah is always the groomer that we request. She is so nice and good Albie, not to mention he looks FANTASTIC when she is done. I think he is happier once he has all of his dead hair removed too. I highly recommend Rebekah and the Polished Paws team!!! Update: Sorry to say we can no longer trust this place. They charged us $180 for just a dog wash and no groom/trim. I felt like they were gauging us and the workers were not very nice about it.
