The 0-Star Barber I took my young son to precision to see Jey for what was supposed to be a simple hair cut. We communicated our instructions clearly, emphasizing the need for a straightforward, child-friendly haircut. We also showed him a picture . Unfortunately, this visit turned into a distressing experience. While cutting my son's hair, the barber seemed more interested in watching TV than paying attention to his work. It was disheartening to see my little boy sitting there, visibly upset and holding back tears after seen the himself in the mirror. To make matters worse, the haircut turned out terribly--far from the buzz cut we requested. Instead of leaving with a fresh, neat look, my son left feeling embarrassed and unhappy. It's hard to believe that someone could disregard a child's feelings so blatantly. Adding insult to injury, the barber had the audacity to expect a tip after ruining my son's hair. I believe tips should be earned through good service, and in this case, it was completely unwarranted. We found this shop on google and it had 5 stars from 900+ people so we felt safe. However I believe that the barber we used and maybe few others are riding on the coattails of better-rated barbers that work at this establishment without really understanding the craft. We've come here twice now and MIKE is awesome at what he does, his cuts are precise and works in a timely manner, sometimes it can be a drag at some places where the barber takes what feels like an eternity but not here, and you don't feel rush. Love it and highly recommend, loss of star due to pricing, it's a little scattered which is slightly frustrating, the first time there was a bit more work fixing the prior places works and it was cheaper yet second time around when there was significantly less work (and there were 3 cuts with him back to back) the price was 20% higher. I've been there four times - had two different barbers. Each time I've been I've wanted to like the place. They show pretty good movies and it's easy to schedule. But to be honest the quality of the cuts is pretty bad but more importantly the quality of the conversations is awful. When you get a cut you want to have good engagement with your barber. I've carefully observed the crew of barbers with their customers and there is simply a lack of engagement. So, bad cuts plus bad conversation = search for a new barber. We moved to Deerfield Beach, FL in Dec. 2017 and in January 2018 my husband needed a haircut. We lived in New York most of our lives & my husband used the same Barber for 30+ years but he got very sick and was out of work for 6 months and other barbers were just not the same. Sadly, my Barber passed away. When we moved to Deerfield Beach, FL we accidentally stubbled across this barber shop on a Saturday night at about 6 pm and my husband tried them. They were a fairly new store and they had 4 young, handsome barbers working there and my husband really liked his haircut. He's partly bald and a lot of barbers just want to trim around the "circle." But Mateo, took his time & listened to what I wanted him to do and he did a great job. Unfortunately, Mateo doesn't work there anymore but my husband has a new young guy there who cuts his hair and also does a great job. They spend almost an hour on him. They really care about satisfying the customer. The store has developed a big following since we started with them in January 2018, 5 years now and they have about 6 or 7 barbers and I haven't seen anyone walk out of this barbershop unhappy or with a "bad haircut or bad style." They take walk-ins, but you are better off calling and making an appointment so you don't have to wait long. read more

Great haircut. I always have issues with my hair cuts and this place gave me the best cut ive ever had! Diego did an awesome job and took care of my hair and made it look fresh and styled perfectly. Will definitely come back. Only note - take debit and credit cards. Use the square or some other form of payment system that will allow u to use a cars. Terrible establishment never come here. Enrique is the worst barber I've ever had. They overcharge you, and you have to pay with cash or withdraw from an atm. Hidden in the corner of the Plaza, it is a welcome surprise with a pleasant staff, all new, good equipment, needs a couple of finishing touches here and there as it's just recently open, but I think will do really well and provides a very good service despite the pricey cost for a haircut. They do good haircuts, won't take that away from them. Super slow, waited an hour for a barber to free up but I had to wait an hour for him to finish and he still hadn't finished. The other two were taking care of the people who scheduled appointments. Make sure to make appointment, they say they do walk ins but I waited an hour and was told I had to wait another half hour, highly recommend to just make an appointment. read more
