Tim Golden Hands - Old, rusted vent from bathroom ceiling. (Rusted from 25 years of moisture from the shower.)

7/12/25 Aurora, CO: So glad I called a Handyman instead of an electrician! I have a few…read moreelectricians I've used before, so I had a few to choose from when my light fell down a couple days ago. But they usually can't fit me in for a week or two. Plus, if all went well with the light, I had a few more items I wanted to discuss, and they would require a Handyman. So I called Tim (Artsem is his full name, in case you've seen that in other reviews), he picked up first call, I explained about the light, and I asked how soon he could come? I said "Can you come tomorrow?" Now I don't know if he usually works on Saturday, but he said "Sure, how about 9 - 10am?" Worked great for me! So I showed him the light, thinking he would have to get into the attic to get "above" the fixture to replace the cup-thing it screws into, but he said no, everything is done down below. So he ran to Home Depot to get the correct cup thing, and knowing he was heading to HD anyway, I said "See this rusted vent? I tried to unscrew it and change it myself, but it's caulked on tight. Can you replace that?" "Sure!" (Add $10 to my bill. I'm happy with that!!) So I showed him another vent in the basement, and he did that one also. While we were at it, I asked him to put some wall anchors on a tall set of cabinets in the garage, and anchor it to the wall so that it never tips over. And I showed him where a hook on the garage wall fell down because I hung too many folding chairs on it. He picked up some extra long screws at Home Depot, and took care of that too. In addition, I thought that my ceiling fan wasn't working, and had him look at it. He found the problem quickly, and it's working again! Same thing with a lightbulb in the basement subfloor that wasn't working, he got it working again. So I am super happy to have found Tim, and I will 100% for sure be using him again very soon, because I have lots more on my Honey-Do list. Someone asked in the Questions section how much he charges: I believe his minimum fee may be $100. But it seemed that each little thing that I asked him to do (like replace the vents, anchor the cabinet to the wall, re-hang the hook in the garage), he priced at $10 each. I believe he said he charges either "$60 per hour, or a flat rate", like when my fixture fell down, he asked me to send pictures, I did, and he texted me a flat rate without seeing it in person, and I loved his price and said yes. For small items that are quick, like 10 minutes, would be about $10. (He does add on the Home Depot price of whatever he has to buy to do it, so $16 for each of my vents. Therefore, $16 + $10 = $26. Can't beat that! So be sure and find a few items that need fixing, and call for it all to be done in one trip. I was 10/10 pleased with his pricing, I felt his prices are low, but his ability and expertise is high!! Anyway, if you live in Denver, I would call Tim, and if it is something he has done before and knows how to do, I bet you are going to be super happy like I am!! Thanks, Tim!

Last time I called for a resident who had a recent stay at a hotel and was worried about bites on his leg. I called after he was done working for the day and left a message. He called me back after office hours and scheduled and inspection/treatment for the next day. This prompt response got the issue taken care of before the weekend, and gave my residents peace of mind!

Mike came out the same week I called and went to work right away to address the infestation. Within 4 months of continuous treatment, the rat problem went from HEAVY activity to NO activity. As you can imagine, the owner of the apartment complex never stepped up to take responsibility for the problem (surprise surprise). But thanks to mike's efforts we at least have the problem under control for now and we feel a little more comfortable letting our kid play again in the backyard. Controlling the pests will be a long term effort since the source of the problem is still there, and owner seems perfectly fine with leaving it next to my yard, but with Mike on the job we are confident that he will do everything in his power to keep this problem under control. Very knowledgeable, professional and an all around nice person. Based on my experience with this company, they are the gold standard in this business.

Duct Duct Breathe - Bad design for the dryer vent termination, too restrictive! I took out a bunch of lint completely blocking airflow.

Cesar is AWESOME! I wanted an HONEST furnace cleaning / tune up and assessment of my older furnace,…read moreand Cesar delivered. great cleaning, found out my furnace was 30 yrs old (still runs great!). Replaced a part (capacitor) that will prevent future blower motor issues and that even resolved a minor existing problem I was having Honest, up front pricing, great communication and of course great work. Beware of those low priced furnace "tune ups" out there, IMO that just gets them in your house and then come the "problems" (speaking from experience sad to say)

Cesar is the real deal!…read more After our dryer stopped working efficiently, and I had an appliance repair company look at it, we were quoted $320 by them to clean only the dryer duct. This seemed so high to solely clear the dryer duct. I put in a project request for a whole house duct clean and Cesar responded SO FAST. He gave me a reasonable quote for the whole house including the dryer duct. 5 stars for communication throughout the whole process, from quick Yelp responses to letting me know he was on his way this morning, and for showing me photos and videos of before and after of the ducts, and just for an all around professional in-person experience. During the initial tour I asked if he also cleaned the fans in the laundry and bathrooms and he said that's not typically a part of the service, but he was happy to take a look and give them some compressed air. The before and after pics of the laundry room fan were NO JOKE. He said we might have saved that motor and I believe it. It always feels strange having a stranger move throughout the whole house, but Cesar was incredibly professional, immediately wore booties upon entering the house without me even asking, and was so gracious when we asked him to step outside a couple of times so we could move our unfriendly dog to a different floor as he moved through the space. The best part... the dryer is working flawlessly now! Hooray! I would not hesitate to recommend or hire Cesar again for any duct or HVAC needs.
