We have been looking for new countertops for 2+ years and never found anything that we loved. We ran across Precision Countertops and decided to stop in and just look. We met Chad and he was so helpful. He explained the pros and cons of each material and left us to look at samples. He brought us a drawer from his cabinet, which was close to our kitchen cabinets, so we could see how the countertop would look. We found exactly what we were looking for, and right there, Chad entered our dimensions and provided an estimate. He let us borrow the sample so we could see it in our home and match a tile backsplash. Chad thoroughly explained the process from order to install. We were assigned a project manager who communicated every step of the way and the process went very quickly and very smoothly. Chad steered us in a direction for vendors to complete our kitchen redo. Upon install we discovered that our sink, purchased from Precision as well, was missing the drain accessories and our plumber was coming the next day to connect everything. I texted Chad, after 5 pm, and he was at my door early the next morning with the parts we needed. What service!!! We are very happy with our end result and know we made the right decision on trusting Chad and Precision Countertops with our kitchen/fireplace makeover. read more

Home Depot hired this company to install my granite countertops. What a nightmare, from scheduling with Home Depot and Precision to installation and follow-up repairs. The installers gouged the door on my refrigerator, installed one piece of granite backwards, almost destroyed my cabinets and cracked another piece of granite three times. Don't go to Home Depot for granite countertop and esp. don't hire Precision Countertops. read more

I have had both granite and Quartz installed by Precision on two different home updates. Both experiences were positive and I would not hesitate to call them again. I did call around, both times, to get quotes and zero in on the material I wanted installed, but when it came down to buying I trusted the experience and customer connection with Precision. The price was competitive, but the installation was above par. The professionalism and worry-free experience were as seamless as my quartz countertop. The Precision team was friendly and helpful from the measurement, ordering, to the install. Jon Schroder, the measurement specialist, worked on both of the installation in my kitchen (counter tops and later an island addition). I found him to be very professional and accurate, but the installers were my favorite. They were very friendly when they arrived with the finished product and through the install. The lead installer was very knowledgable about the product. They did a beautiful job sealing the quartz in place and gave me excellent pointers on care and maintenance which has kept my white quartz looking new. They represented the company well. The counters have transformed my kitchen! Gorgeous work. I especially liked the no BS, serious family operation vibe of this company. We had the best experience with Precision, from the support staff to the measurers to the installers. First, the undermount Kohler sink we ordered didn't have a template. Our measurer conferred with engineers throughout the company and they were able to create their own template. The installation was flawless; I challenge you to find the seam in the granite. Because this was installed over existing 20-year-old cabinetry, walls and cabinets weren't as flat or level as anticipated. This didn't phase the installers at all. Their expertise and professionalism was truly amazing. read more

Ordered kitchen counter tops through Home Depot/Seattle. Selected quartzite and paid for product and installation in 4/25/22. The project was turned over to Precision Oregon office. Appointments were rescheduled or missed several times. Names of contracted workers continued to change. Or no shows. Or falling suddenly 'sick'! Countertop and back splash were crudely removed, leaving severely damaged walls that needed to be repaired. The first back splash arrived but was too big, so more delay. The next backsplash was mismeasured, but they installed it anyway and never told us that the 3 holes did not line up with the underlying electrical boxes. We incurred additional cost for special electrician to correct their errors. Finally on 8/19/22, the finished product is in, looks OK, but WE WILL NEVER EVER DO or RECOMMEND BUSINESS WITH PRECISION COUNTERTOPS AGAIN. Home Depot Customer Service people did their best, but we are disappointed that Home Depot uses Precision Counter tops as a vendor. They could do better. read more

We ordered our new countertops from Home Depot and that experience went well. Then we scheduled for our measurements and they canceled the day off because a worker called in sick, OK, inconvenient but it happens. We finally got measurements and the guy was pleasant. Then I rearrange my schedule and completely tear up my kitchen and move out my appliances for the installation and confirm the day before, guess what? a different guy calls off the day of. This is a big inconvenience now because I have no kitchen and have to feed a family of 4. The installers finally make it the next day and I admit the countertop looks great, however, they told me they would leave the new clips for the dishwasher and it's been 3 days now. To sum it up, new countertops look great, professionalism, not so great. read more

Had used Precision Countertops Portland with great success so decided to use them for new quartz countertops for our house in Bend. The countertops turned out beautiful, install went pretty well, and price seemed really competitive. So why only 4 stars? Definitely had issues with Customer service before the install and after when after 4 tries no one answers the phone during working hours and they don't appear capable of returning calls. Even for a repeat customer whose just looking for minor follow up service. So decent price, good product, but when they get behind the customer support gets dicey Note : when I first wrote this review I gave them 2stars because after multiple calls and email I got no responses. However immediately after my yelp got posted I got a call from them and they were really apologetic and offered to come out and address the follow up issue at no charge. N read more

Precision Countertops in Bend, Or was a dream to work with. We checked out several other places and they seemed to be less than interested in actually helping us. The folks at Precision took the time to answer our many questions and made us feel like the several months we took deciding on what we wanted was never a problem. The digital template of the kitchen was very interesting and left me feeling like the actual cutting would produce a perfect fit, which it did. I would almost say I don't even need a back splash since the counter top fits so well. The schedule was explained to us after the template was sent in and they kept us informed and met their installation date. The installation crew was quick, clean and efficient. Great stone selection - Amy in the Bend location can help u locate slabs from other warehouses from her desktop computer if what you are looking for is not on site. You can visit Wilsonville showroom if u want to see more selections (we did). Also went to 3 other slab showrooms in Pdx before ending back at Precision! Once selection was made - there was a bit of a wait (cabinet guy was behind schedule) not Precisions fault though ! Template guy came on time, install took many weeks to happen - but when you are dealing with a hot commodity in an upswing economy / patience must be the rule. The install took 2 hours with a whiz bang professional crew. The templated preview that came by email weeks before is spot on for what was installed! Amy helped us make one slab work for the entire job / plus even had enough for a small vanity counter for one bathroom! The quality of the slabs we saw a Precision far exceeded those in competitors showrooms. It was interesting to see how many slabs had those little blue stickers marking fissures ans flaws in the competitors show rooms! You get what you pay for - and quality stone is no exception!. Our installer put out under mount sink in place - and reinforced it nicely! Overall a very satisfactory process with a professional / knowledgeable staff ! My kitchen looks gorgeous !!!!!! read more
