Reconfigured kitchen to allow more space and level counter.
    Carole L.

We are thrilled with the renovation by Nelson Tile and Stone. We remodeled our master bath/laundry which entailed significant reconstruction, installation of a full-size slab of porcelain in the shower, and conversion to a steam shower. This is our vacation home so I am a master of using every inch of space, and Chris worked with me to make that happen, often nudging appliances and fixtures with little room to spare making the installation challenging. We were so delighted with the outcome, we contracted with them to remodel our kitchen and then expanded to include new flooring throughout the living area and upgrading the fireplace. Jennifer and Kyra were so helpful with the layout and countertop, cabinet, flooring, tile, and stone selections. Chris and Justin are amazing at construction and installation adding beautiful finishing touches and seeing to all the details. They consulted us every step of the way and worked through any challenges with us, addressing every issue to our satisfaction. We highly recommend Nelson Tile and Stone finding them easy to work with and providing very high quality at a fair price.

We met Chad and he was so helpful. He explained the pros and cons of each material and left us to look at samples. He brought us a drawer from his cabinet, which was close to our kitchen cabinets, so we could see how the countertop would look. We found exactly what we were looking for, and right there, Chad entered our dimensions and provided an estimate. He let us borrow the sample so we could see it in our home and match a tile backsplash. Chad thoroughly explained the process from order to install. We were assigned a project manager who communicated every step of the way and the process went very quickly and very smoothly. Chad steered us in a direction for vendors to complete our kitchen redo. Upon install we discovered that our sink, purchased from Precision as well, was missing the drain accessories and our plumber was coming the next day to connect everything. I texted Chad, after 5 pm, and he was at my door early the next morning with the parts we needed. What service!!! We are very happy with our end result and know we made the right decision on trusting Chad and Precision Countertops with our kitchen/fireplace makeover.

I initially visited and did research for carpeting brands/styles and color. I was up north and visited the Clackamas store for a greater selection of wood products to try and match existing wood floor surfaces. Because of the distance, waiting for samples and other things there just was not good progress made and I needed to move in within 30 days. The other day I was about to lose my mind as over two weeks had gone by without a viable solution. So, I switched strategy to replace all the wood instead of matching. I called the store and Kathy answered. When I explained my plight, she said "come in tomorrow and I will help you". I didn't know that the store here could work with getting materials where I needed them up north. Anyway, I spent 3 or more hours with Kathy. At the end and thru several fits and starts (out of stock items-namely), I walked out with my materials ordered and in progress. YAY! But, wait! I started having panic attacks about the product ordered and wanted to try to order something else. I called her the next morning, early, and asked if it could be done! She said "it looks like it, let me check and I will call you back". Lo and behold, I am now receiving my new, preferred wood option and am a happy camper! Kathy deserves all my gratitude as I tried to navigate a solution which seemed impossible (and stressful). She was extremely patient with a novice at flooring and helped keep me calm. Please give her my thanks!

We shopped a couple of stores in town and nobody really connected with us. We had granite in our kitchen when we built our home over 20 years ago. And hated every minute of it. The seams were huge, the edge was poor and the experience was beyond awful. So we wanted to avoid all that. As we are laying out the stone we walked back into the shop and talked with the foreman about our concern w/the seams. He showed us the method they use and we were satisfied. He turned over a slab and showed us the cams to keep the seams tight. It really helped to talk to the people that would be doing our work. We also chose a chiseled self edge. Which we were a bit apprehensive about. Done right it looks great. Done "not right" you catch your shirt on the edge as you walk past. Demo day comes and the crew pops off our old counter in a jiffy, clean up and lay out for the new granite. I think we got the layout as a pdf that afternoon. Approved it and we were off. The time from layout to install was a tiny bit long. I think there was a Holiday in there as well. This would probably be the only thing Imagine could improve on. Tub washing the dishes was getting old. The install went great. And all our fears about large seams and off kilter counters over the cabinets were allayed. You literally have to look closely to see where the seams were bookended. Pass your hand over the seam and there is nothing. The chiseled edge was honed down so it still looks great...but doesn't catch your clothing We are beyond happy with Imagine Stone. Next project...bathrooms
