I will never do business with Precision Counter tops again. I was lied to from a guy name Joe and Sam who first installed the counter tops. They said my outlet covers would fit back on after the caulk dried. It turned out that PC did not measure correctly in the first place for the backsplash and behind the stove. It took two more weeks before they got it cut down to the right measurements. I went 4 weeks without a kitchen stove, microwave, and 2 weeks without a kitchen sink. I also had to take extra days off then just two, I ended up missing 4 days of work. PC said they do not compromise for my days missed because of some template signature I gave, but I also paid over 4K to have them not do their job right from the beginning. Who knew they would mess it up and not compromise. This company lies, don't care about their customers. Please do not use them unless your will to lose money for their mistakes and lies. P.S. I had to give them at least a one star so this post but if I could I would give them a negative (-) 5 star. read more

Do not touch this group! My third time installing counter tops and never had a problem until them. They have many rules and regulations. For example: my counters weren't cleaned off for estimator so he turned and left. Wouldn't wait. They call and say I owe 125.00 for his visit. Then 165.00 to unhook stove and sink. Five minutes. Won't rehook. Threatened to leave when they said it wasn't unhooked. Today they came to remeasure backsplash they say is nine feet off originally it included an area now taken off but I owe 125.00 for extra footage. Can't give you a time for backsplash installation. you just live getting dinged and the neverending story of getting dinged. Older women out there beware. This is not a good company. Wish I could relive the whole story walking by the quartz at Home Depot. read more

Not impressed with the installers in any way. When these guys took out our old counters, they ripped up the edges of our solid wood cabinets. He went to his truck & got some pressboard to replace what they had just ripped out. Left gapes in the edges! The back splashes weren't measured correctly so they had to be reordered. They threw busted wood pieces inside my cabinets and left all the dirt & debris for us to clean up. The floors had chips & wood splinters they left behind. When approached about this, the guy said that he wished his company would fill him in on what the customers were being told! (Expectations) He just turned & told his helpers to meet him at the bar by noon & discuss the next job. I phoned the office and let them know about my experience and the little gal was very nice & told me they would look into it & get back with us. Still haven't heard anything concerning these employees. We had to wait another 10 days for the backsplash. It fit but he didn't silicone it all. We finished his job.... Not happy & will never recommend or use them again! read more

I don't like games concerning my estimates. We were given an estimate, paid the initial fees through Home Depot and thought everything was moving forward until Home Depot said we would have to pay several hundred more (+25% of the project) because the estimator missed some things. We balked as it was their fault. We had a simple design, drew it out before the estimator came and walked through the project with him. Yet, he still screwed up. We couldn't get anyone (HD or PC) on the phone until we were finally told that we would either accept the increase or they would cancel and keep a percentage of our initial payment. Excellent installer staff; however, we feel very cheated by the business itself and will never do business with Precision again and will never use another Home Depot contractor. By using Home Depot, you lose your ability to negotiate price and ensure quality. You're basically at their whim. read more

Recently, I had my kitchen remodeled. Pre is ion countertops sent a contractor to measure and make sure the new sink would fit. Well, after he installed the countertop, he told me the new sink wouldn't fit. I received a follow up email from Precision Countertops. I replied with my unhappiness with what had been done. As did others we went through Home Depot, not knowing at the time that they used this company. We finally got our granite installed well over a month after our initial install date. The reason for the delay... the first time they showed up, they brought cracked granite which we refused rightfully so. So we waited two more weeks and they came back and managed to drop and crack the granite while attempting to install it onto our cabinets... damaging our brand new laminate floor, newly installed and painted pony wall, cabinet trim, and scratching the side of our brand new cabinets..... So again we had to wait another two weeks to have them come back. Finally on the third attempt Joe showed up and completed the work. The company agreed to cover the damage to our home caused by the second failed install but refused to compensate us for the inconvenience and costs of not having a kitchen for over a month after we were scheduled to have the counters installed. I appreciate that Joe was able to finish the job, but the lack of customer service and failure to compensate for our lost use of our kitchen due to their employees failure is unacceptable. I cannot recommend this company to anyone. read more

They didn't come on the scheduled day because they were overbooked. Home Depot is too much volume for them, I guess. The biggest problem I had was that they cut the sink hole crooked in the granite counter top. They made excuses and said it was within tolerance. I am a general contractor and a hands-on home remodeler. I would not allow that level of defect to be put on one of my customers... they would not accept it and neither do I in my own home. Further, the grout they put in the seam fell out within a couple weeks. They didn't seem interested and I ended up regrouting myself. I will also warn you that going through Home Depot who uses these guys creates a layer of disconnect. Once Home Depot had my order both they and Precision Countertops were very hard to work with or even get a response. read more

Had the same problems as other reviewers. Estimator left things out of the bid that were needed, then nickeled and dimed me on things like "an extra person to help carry in the island". The hole cut for my under mounted sink is not cut right. The subcontractors hired to do the install left an empty tube of caulk inside my island which rolled under my dishwasher and kept it from opening/closing. I had to hire a handyman to retrieve the tube of caulking so I could use my dishwasher. No one told me to purchase a new garbage disposal button to match my new sink/faucet so the old one remains which doesn't match. The subcontractors put a dent in my front door carrying out my old sink, then left it on my front porch for two weeks. I had to contact them several times to have it taken away. read more

I went through Precision Countertops earlier this year to install a new quartz counter top in my kitchen and the results are beautiful. The job they performed was excellent. I was worried about how the seams would look and you can't even see them. The entire team was friendly to work with, very accommodating, and professional. They were honest with me about my color choices and options given my space, and helped make recommendations when needed. They made the process of deciding the little details very easy. They were efficient, left everything clean, and I felt very comfortable having them in my home. I will be using them again in the future when I am ready to update my bathrooms. Sales people and installers are nice but the quality of the product was poor. All of their countertops are cut at their Oregon office and their craftmanship is very poor. You can check their poor rating as well. They are contracting with Home Depot and they can't handle the extra load. read more

The company was great in correspondence before the installation of a new kitchen countertop for my client. However, there was a problem installing the new sink, which was the same size as the existing one. I was told in advance by the contractor when he came to measure, to have the new sink on site so that he could check it before the installation date, to make sure all would go smoothly. Needless to say, on the installation day, the new sink wouldn't work and would have compromised the strength of the counter so the homeowner would have to do a return and choose another. So a smaller sink was installed. After the job I received an email from one of PC's staff, regarding job satisfaction and to please write regarding any issues. Well, it's been several weeks and my client is still waiting for a reply after his email regarding the matter. Bottom line, why bother asking if I'm satisfied if you don't even bother to reply. That's a thumbs down for me. read more

Our experience with Precision Countertops was wonderful. April, their in-home consultant, explained the entire process and helped us tremendously with pattern/color choice. Final template done exactly as promised. Countertops arrived exactly as promised. Installers were skilled and professional. The one minor issue was resolved quickly and with no additional hassle or expense to us. They kept in constant contact with us on every level. The final product is beautiful - fit and color beyond our expectations. And the sink!!! It is the best I've ever used. Don't know what it's made of, but it is a snap to clean. I cook ALOT - and have not had one single issue with either counters or sink. The entire experience was A-plus as far as we are concerned. We HIGHLY recommend this company! BTW - we are in our 60's and have extensive remodeling experience and worked with many contractors. In our opinion, it doesn't get any better than this! read more
