My experience with Nampa Floors & Interiors has been extremely disappointing. We entrusted them with the installation of luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring throughout our new home which we have been in less than two years, only to encounter a series of troubling issues.
Right from the start, the quality of both the product and the installation left much to be desired. The LVP began to show signs of failure prematurely, casting doubts on the durability and workmanship involved. Despite noticing the problem, we chose to give the company some leeway due to the prevalence of similar issues in our neighborhood and their apparent workload.
However, the issues didn't stop there. The stair treads they initially installed were too narrow, creating a safety hazard. Their solution was to glue extension lips onto the stairs to remedy the situation. Regrettably, this solution is also failing. We've experienced instances of these extension lips lifting, resulting in a couple of falls already. It's deeply concerning that this inadequate solution is putting people at risk, and we sincerely hope that a serious injury won't occur due to these subpar modifications.
As time went on, the flooring's condition worsened, prompting us to finally reach out for assistance. To our dismay, we were met with a disappointing response. It was revealed that the issue has surpassed the 18-month mark, which we were never informed of during the initial engagement. This left us feeling misled and frustrated, particularly given the supposed "lifetime warranty" that the product was advertised with.
Our efforts to address the problem with the manufacturer only added to our frustration. Instead of acknowledging the product's defects, they attempted to blame us for activities we never engaged in - allegations of basketball play and power-wheel toy usage withing the house, none of which happened. This further eroded our confidence in both the product and the company's ability to handle the situation professionally.
Adding to our disappointment is the fact that our builder acknowledged the presence of defective joints in the flooring, a concern echoed by other neighbors who faced similar issues. Strangely, while others were able to have their flooring replaced, our experience with Nampa Floors & Interiors has been marked by unresponsiveness and lack of assistance.
The final blow came when we encountered resistance and a seeming lack of accountability from the company's management. Being expected to cover the cost of moving furniture out and arranging accommodations during the replacement process is burdensome, and receiving a response that attempts to shift blame on us is both frustrating and disrespectful.
In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend Nampa Floors & Interiors to others seeking flooring solutions. The combination of poor product quality, unfulfilled warranty promises, subpar customer service, and a blatant disregard for safety concerns with the stair treads has left a lasting negative impression. When considering flooring options, I strongly urge others to seek out a company that values its customers, stands behind its products, and upholds the principles of professionalism, accountability, and safety. read more
