He was digging his tool in so hard nonstop (even after me saying it was hurting me) that he chipped my tooth! He barely explained what was going on and tried to walk me to another room for a filling right then. I was so confused and he said he didn't even have time to numb me. I had a horrible feeling so I said I didn't want him to work on it right then, and he just left the room without even saying goodbye or asking if I was ok. I was in extreme pain from the tooth having a big hole in it from what he did. it was the most bizarre and horrifying dental experience I've ever had.

I initially went in for a cleaning which went well and the staff was very friendly (no surprises here, I need to floss more). I also took X-Rays since I was a new patient and Dr. Rudin spent extra time walking me through some of the past work he could see that I had done, and more importantly, pointed out some areas of concern. I did have a cavity which I got taken care of during my second visit. Overall great experience and going back in the future!

Dr commented verbally that i must be someone who needs more Novocaine. I assumed they would have made a note of that in my chart. For the second filling I was already very nervous about the procedure and it was obvious enough since i was shaking in the chair enough they they offered me a blanket-thanks but being chilly was not my main concern. They again failed to give me enough Novocaine. By this point i was a wreak in the chair while they attempted to give me more Novocaine. How did they not make sure this didn't happen again?!!! I had tears streaming down my face, my whole body was shaking, hands had a death grip on the arm rest. How anyone could not tell i was in serious distress is beyond me. no suggestion of any other way to address my fear. No laughing gas, not even taking the time to stop what they were doing to see how i could be helped. I practically jumped out of the chair as soon as it was over with the silent vow to never ever return. I've been terrified to even get a cleaning since then. I say all this because the website indicates that they provide support and aid to those with dental fears. They don't. You get a musty blanket and headphones to listen to music. The office staff and team in the office is so nice and accommodating to anything you need. Dr. Sara is such a delight and I have never seen a dentist go above and beyond for his patients the way she does. She always make sure you are comfortable, satisfied, and fully informed during the entire process of any procedure or cleaning. I've had many cavities and even a root canal performed at the office and even those normally bother some procedures were tolerable and easy at her office. I've been going there for years and before are used to be deathly afraid of the dentist but I have to say ever since going to Dr. Sara I have not been afraid of the dentist anymore.
