The company that installed it came by three times and couldn't fix the problem, or thought they did then the same issue would come up. (only half the fireplace would stay lit). Steve had a hunch and he brought over a "snorkel" prototype for the vent on the outside of the house from the fireplace. Long story short..he figured out that I needed a better venting system and he ordered it and installed it. I have been REALLY enjoying my fireplace these cold days.
