The floors badly buckled in the entire house about 6 months after the refinishing. Boone said it was a moisture issue, but three plumbing companies and three air conditioning companies, in addition to a leak specialist, could never find a leak contributing to the moisture. My mom spent thousands of dollars on equipment to dry out under the house, but the floors remained buckled. Just before she moved, there was a section of wood in the dining room literally splitting open. My mom was forced to sell her retirement home for practically nothing because of the damaged floors. I would sue Boone, but my mother is too old to endure litigation.

For starters, they pass along the credit card fee of 2.8% when it says 2.6% on the paperwork. Not a big deal if domino issues weren't to follow. There is no mention of volume purchase anywhere in the writing/nor verbally and you get stuck with a markup of a couple of dollars per sq/ft for the product. This 8mm lvp product isn't even that great and I was promised to have everything guaranteed/warranted if you go with them if you purchase their materials. Couldn't be further from the truth. This lvp doesn't work well if everything isn't perfectly leveled out and no discount for the flooring. Sergey entered my home and we discussed potential issues with the kitchen floor not being completely level, but he still pushed forward the deal only to bail out when it came time. More on this in a minute... Starting with the kitchen (never got to the back room) he broke the tiles up very easily and saved him time. Then there is a hardy board, as they call it, that looked pretty decent in most spots with some crackling in others. I would have went with this slight imperfection if better advice of not busting through this didn't emerge. Once this was done it exposed a solid level that didn't exhibit any crackling and good to go right! Wrong, as there was extra work to remove adhesive, nails, screws, etc. and this isn't something he was willing to do as he walked out on his responsibilities. It was going to require a 2-2.5" moulding at the base to cover for the gap as 1/4 round wasn't long enough. So, to save time, I volunteered to go to Home Depot and check out the options. After returning 30 minutes later I noticed Sergey was gone. I thought maybe he went to grab lunch, then I get a text that the job can't be completed as it wouldn't be covered under warranty due to unlevel floors. Unbelievable! This lvp, that isn't good for this work, was sold to me (no offered adjustment for this at any time). We had already agreed that once this additional hardy board layer was taken off and sanded down, we were good to go to complete the kitchen portion of the project. Again, not even getting to the other room before he left abruptly and quit. Not being satisfied with this, I contacted Sergey to refund my money, outside of the scam of forcing you to retain the lvp per contract and upselling. I informed him that I will be proceeding with recouping my money and other steps as this is unsatisfactory to bail out unexpectedly. I still haven't received the refund of my money, nearly 3 hours after the deadline I set to do so. I've already taken action on a few things, but I digress. The worst part is when he up and bailed, he left my home unsafe. My kitchen (you'll see attachments here) was left with chunks of flooring debris, rusty screws, nails, and uneven floors as he decided to not finish pulling up the remainder of the agreed upon hardy board. I had to block off the kitchen as stepping on this is unsafe for me, others and especially my dog that isn't wearing shoes. I have company coming in a little over 3 weeks, he knew this, and still decided to screw me over. This Baltic Flooring should be shut down with this sneaky, I think intentionally vague, overall unprofessional vibe to it. Steer clear unless you have a small basic project - even then, probably better to do it yourself to avoid the hassle.

They were gentle moving our furniture and took care of our walls. Furniture was tarp and protected from dust. By the time they left I wish we would have had this done sooner. That crew wasn't the most knowledgeable or thorough. The floor looked great and I was very happy, but after 2 years the planks started to peal and break. This is what makes me give this company a 5 star review. I called them to inquire about fixing the floor under warranty even though at this point more than two years had passed. Bottom line is that they fixed everything at no cost to me. At first I thought they would only replace a few planks, but the guy they sent (Marcos) was super knowledgeable and thorough. He immediately assessed that there must be a problem with the sub floor. He took out the planks and showed me how the plywood was all but disintegrating at places. He made sure the job was done correctly this time, replacing the old (very thin) plywood with new 3/4 of an inch plywood. The floor feels now much more stable. He also told the company that we needed to replace all the planks. The company didn't bat an eye and approved the whole work. All at no cost to me. In my book that's A+ service. Everyone messes up, it's how you fix your mistakes that counts. The company stood up for their service and products. As a side note to Rick (the owner). You have a great employee in Marcos. I would have your other crew shadow him for a while or take some pointers from him.

We hired About Floors n' More in Jacksonville, Florida to remove our tile and carpet and install…read moreLVP throughout our condo. We were unhappy with a number of things including but not limited to their contractor damaging the drywall to the point much wider baseboards had to be installed to cover the damage throughout the entire unit. One of our contractors pulled back the flooring and told us there was a vapor barrier but no sound barrier as required by our HOA, requested by us, and on our invoice, and then most annoying, this sound is throughout the condo and very loud even when walking in socks "quietly". We've been told by other contractors it was likely because the floors were not properly swept and prepped ahead of time. We have photos showing chunks of debris all around the cabinets that should have been swept up. We complained to About Floors n More and did not pay them the remainder. Their response was to file a lawsuit (we've already paid them close to 50%). We will let a judge decide if what is in this video as well as our extensive photos are acceptable or not but we wanted other consumers considering them to know that they believe this is acceptable and instead of working to remedy it, sued us to pay them for work we don't believe was done correctly nor fully. We even bought the loser workers they sent out an extra jar of the non skid additive. We have to make sure everybody that walks on it walks very slow. They made such a mess, we were on our hands and knees cleaning up for weeks. They dripped the epoxy down the pool edge onto the tile and even into the pool down the plaster. It took weeks of us with a razor trying to get the epoxy off the tile edge and plaster walls. Then they put a plastic cover over our pool, when they finished the flakes they went to pull up the plastic but dumped all the flake into our pool. They wouldn't even clean it out. We finally found a pool company to come out and vacuum all of the flake out, it actually stained our plaster. We are now having to spend over $10,000 to redo the decking and will eventually replaster the shell. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They are super shady company, cannot trust there word or service.

Thatcher was the person I was coordinating with. He told me he could handle my water softener that was in my garage. He left the first day and I didn't have running water. He told me to wait until the next day which was not happening so I had to drag the equipment back and reconnect. He came back after the floors were done to reconnect (using my tools that he opened every drawer of my toolbox looking for) and he was unable to do it after 3 days of effort, and his grandfather and dad trying to help. He finally left after demanding extra payment for the softener which he left and it was still dripping water all over the new garage floor. Never came back. Never responded. I had to hire a company to come reconnect it and fix his terrible workmanship. The epoxy has a yellow tint and debris that is stuck in the epoxy topping. The floors are not the quality that was advertised. I also blew up on me when I told him I didn't want to be charged for the softener bc it was being done unprofessionally. Don't use this guy/company. He is unprofessional and if you want your garage done right, find another company. His website says 100% satisfaction guaranteed. I am not satisfied and would never call him back to fix it.

Quality Flooring installed new wood flooring in our guest room during a renovation in June 2025…read more. Some of the boards started peeling this June. I contacted John Milea,the service manager, and requested that the flooring be replaced. I sent him pictures of the damaged areas, and he did a site visit. I was advised that they would repair a few boards but replacement would cost a minimum of $2400 depending on flooring selected. He also sent an email stating the following: "We believe the installation was done correctly and that all in all you don't like the material selection that was made a year ago." I responded that what I didn't like was peeling wood and adhesive showing between boards. He also said that the current peeling was probably caused by moisture from a leak. Five boards were replaced on July 17th by a Quality Flooring Installer, and he said there was no underlying moisture. Obviously, the flooring is defective. I will definitely look elsewhere for any other floor replacement.
