Mike's wasn't the lowest bid, but it was the only one without contingencies, and the only one which stated up front that his crew would remove the old tile floor, repair any underlying issues with the subfloor, and level it before installing the new luxury vinyl planks. Plus we felt comfortable after meeting him about the plan and the quality of the materials/work. It took about two weeks after signing up to get the planks ordered/delivered, and then set a time to do the installation. A two-man crew showed up around 8:30 a.m., gave me some updates along the way to show what was happening (and ask some important questions I hadn't considered, like which way the new planks should run), and they finished installing the flooring and the quarterround by about 11:30 a.m. Everything looks great, and we are very happy.

Great serious company. I had them replace a carpet floor…read morewith vinyl planks on 8/21. The crew tore the carpet and installed the planks on top of the plywood floor. That crew wasn't the most knowledgeable or thorough. The floor looked great and I was very happy, but after 2 years the planks started to peal and break. This is what makes me give this company a 5 star review. I called them to inquire about fixing the floor under warranty even though at this point more than two years had passed. Bottom line is that they fixed everything at no cost to me. At first I thought they would only replace a few planks, but the guy they sent (Marcos) was super knowledgeable and thorough. He immediately assessed that there must be a problem with the sub floor. He took out the planks and showed me how the plywood was all but disintegrating at places. He made sure the job was done correctly this time, replacing the old (very thin) plywood with new 3/4 of an inch plywood. The floor feels now much more stable. He also told the company that we needed to replace all the planks. The company didn't bat an eye and approved the whole work. All at no cost to me. In my book that's A+ service. Everyone messes up, it's how you fix your mistakes that counts. The company stood up for their service and products. As a side note to Rick (the owner). You have a great employee in Marcos. I would have your other crew shadow him for a while or take some pointers from him.

We loved the Eternity that we bought and wanted to continue it upstairs, but the tile guy that we had hired said it was impossible..So we put the upstairs on hold for a few and then our tile guy disappeared.. So long story short few years later we had multiple quotes and finally hired a great company (OceanOaks) to do the insulation for the upstairs using Eternity up stairs as well.. Kitchen & Flooring Concepts worked w/OceanOaks to facilitate the needs for the house..They delivered the product, along with all the items needed for installation.. Their driver whose name escapes me was absolutely a doll.. We still have the F.R.O.G (family room over garage) room and the guest bathroom to redo, so we will be going back for more flooring.. I had the pleasure of hiring Andrew to come in and remove an old floor that was installed poorly…read more When I made the purchase, approximately five years ago, and I was told that I was getting a thick floor when in fact I was given something that was discounted an extremely cheap at a cost so unbelievable that I was ecstatic that I negotiated such a great deal. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I bought garbage because the way that it was installed by a friend trying to assist me, within a few years the Floor ended up splitting and breaking. It was very easy to just come in and pull up the pieces. I finally decided to call Andrew to come in and look at it. I was extremely embarrassed that I didn't use him from the get go and explained that my buddy assisted he and he cost me nearly nothing. Unfortunately that caused me a lot of problems as Andrew pointed them all out. In either case trying to save me money cost me twice the originally amount so Inlearned a value able lesson when II comes to your home never substitute quality for cheapness. So Andrew came with me and helped me pick out new flooring. We picked out a great product that was extremely reasonable but what I liked more than anything it was 20 mil thick versus 12 and I never understood the significance of that until now. It's unbelievable walking on floor. It's a totally different experience. When it comes to your home never cut corners and if you don't understand the product never take the word of a salesman. Get someone who knows and listen to what they have to say. Andrew is that guy and his work is awesome. I can't tell you how happy I am. I will be calling him back shortly for the next project!!!!
