We had my daughter's birthday party at their gym recently and it was fantastic!!! Coach Sarah, Skylar, and Elizabeth were so helpful and great with the kids. They handled most everything for us. All you have to do is bring a poster, cake , food and snacks and drinks. They set up the tables and put the poster up and they provided tablecloths. We brought our own cutlery and they set that up for us. They were so amazing with the kids. All the kids at the party had a great time! Highly recommend this place for your kid's birthday party! This is also a great space for a baby shower or any other adult party where you have kids and want them to be occupied. The gym is spacious and so is the waiting area. Beautiful space! We just had my daughters birthday party here. We couldn't be more pleased about how the party was handled. They made everything so easy and the kids had a blast! The coaches were very nice and helpful. They made sure all the kids put on hand sanitizer before they sat down for cake. After cake we had an option for the kids to get a little more play time instead of opening presents. I also liked the area where the parents sat and watched. There was plenty of space at the windows for everyone to see what was going on. And there were couches for the parents as well. And it was the same room as the party itself. I liked that simply because it was easier to not transition to a different room. We will definitely have more parties here. read more

The first experience basically ruined it for my 3 year old. We went on a Friday and there was 70 kids to 3 teachers. It was absolute madness. Within minutes my child ran our crying. They did let us try again the following week without charging us. He still wasn't interested and I couldn't get him to go in. Today we went in and he refused to go in unless I was there. I sat in there and just tried to stay out of the way. He definitely started to get into it but was still scared of being there by himself. The class is from 12:30-2:30 and at 2pm the older teacher came over while I was on the phone with my husband and told me that I couldn't be in there anymore as parents aren't allowed. I was in the middle of talking to my husband, so having her interrupt me for this was rude. Since I had already been there the whole time it was ridiculous that they were now kicking me out. It's also technically their fault that my son had so much anxiety about going there since his first experience was awful, and they didn't have enough teachers. I was hoping they would let me build his confidence back up so he could stay on his own. I also had paid for the day so kicking us out at 2pm seemed ridiculous. Overall not the best place to take kids who may need more support and help getting into the activity. read more

Precision's "Mom and Me" class is their best kept secret. The class is offered for children aged 18mos until they turn 3. It meets once a week for just $25 a month. Relative to other lessons, that price is pretty amazing. Depending on your schedule the Mom and Me class is available weekday or Saturday mornings. A number of my friends have done the weekday classes, whereas I have done the Saturday class. There is a striking difference between the two... On weekdays, the gym is empty and very quiet. Good for an easily distracted child or a mother carting around an infant as well. On Saturdays the gym is hopping- all sorts of age groups are practicing different things at different times. It's mesmerizing to watch the older girls- they're like machines! Ab muscles that I can only dream of having. For some, the Saturday atmosphere is a bit too hectic. But I enjoy taking it all in. When my daughter turns 3, I'm not sure what we'll do. The price of the classes goes up pretty significantly. We like gymnastics, but without the price advantage we might try something else. read more

We tried this place about a year ago, after they said they had a class for my daughter. When we showed up, they said they were sorry but the class they had wasn't for her age/skill level. She cried all the way home. We decided to give them another shot and enrolled her again about 6 months later because our daughter wanted to try the school again. The school was decent, but when we cancelled, they still continue to bill us for a month she never even attended. We have notified them via email, in person and by phone that she would not be attending further classes because her soccer had started back up. They continue to bill us every month. All they are doing is wasting their postage, because we will not be paying for a month when we had cancelled. I guess they need to train their staff better, because we were not informed about any specific way to cancel. read more

I signed my daughter up for a trail class a month ago, we walked in and they said they were closed for the holiday. No one bothered to call or let me know when I made the appointment. My daughter has attended this gym off and on for the last 4 years and they are fantastic! Since I used to teach ballet and gymnastics I know what to look for in an instructor and if you want your child to have fun and be a great gymnist this is THE place in Richardson to go! She had a really great 5th birthday party here and they have been so kind and helpful during a 2 year long health crisis my family has had to endure. I live close so we often walk and I stay and watch... nothing going on here but great training and fun for the students. I also attended Moms club here when I had preschoolers and have often attended the fantastic homeschoolers pe program that is so strong my daughter that ice skates was able to drop her off ice training and do only the homeschool pe. I am glad I did my homework and found this awesome gym in my backyard! If what the other reveiw said were true I doubt the parking lot would be full 6 days a week. My children have taken toddler and preschool classes from Precision and we now participate in the homeschool class options. They have always been very supportive and kind to my children. They do have a front desk worker who can be curt when she's busy but with the right attitude, you can make her smile, too. We enjoy the activities for the kids and the real athletic abilities they are building rather than just gym free for all. To someone else's point, I have witnessed some yelling in the gym in the past. That was a few years ago but it seemed to be more in the competition level classes right before competition and across the gym (not like up in someone's face or anything). I'm not saying it was right, just that I don't know the whole situation and I can imagine tensions were high. I have younger children (6 and under) and my son is incredibly sensitive to criticism. He shuts down when he even thinks he is in trouble or reprimanded. He has never had any problems at this gym - and that's not to say he does everything he is told to do! read more

We had attended another local gymnastics center for a few years as just something my kids enjoyed and attended to get their wiggles out. But, we had to move to this gym because the other's class schedule did not fit ours. We started with the tumbling classes at Precision. What I hadn't realized was that, after a few years of gymnastics classes, my daughter didn't even know how to do a cartwheel!! Well, after just a couple of weeks, that was fixed! I was just amazed how the kids are moving THE ENTIRE time they are in class. In tumbling, different cushions are set up so the kids are each doing different movements in a loop, and rarely are they waiting to do a movement. At our previous facility, the kids all waited to do one movement, and they'd loop through twice. So, that had 11 kids not doing something while 1 was doing something. Also, their Friday Night Fun and quarterly Lock-Ins are just the best for date night! Both my son and daughter beg to go EVERY Friday! read more

Great family run gymnastics place. They are top notch in competitive gymnastics but we are there because my 14 year old started cheer. They do an amazing job making it fun and safe for her plus they are excellent at form etc that promotes a safe practice. Can't say enough about how nice everyone is and how much they care. My daughters have been coming for the homeschool gym time since October and we all love it. The owner and coaches always greet us with smiles. The coaches make a point to compliment their strengths and emerging skills. I have 2 little girls attending gymnastics at Precision and we love it! My girls ask all week when the next time they can go to gymnastics is. The gym itself is clean and maintained. I don't understand how the bathrooms stay so clean with all the little girls using them. There is plenty of equipment. The instructors are fabulous!! We have had several different instructors due to us changing our day of the week. They have all been kind and caring along with very knowledgable. The staff is very accommodating about schedule changes and let you make up missed sessions in the summer and once per month during the school year. They have recreational gymnastics, team gymnastics, tumbling, and I think cheerleading classes?? They also have summer camps, Friday night out, and all girls lock ins available. We take the classes for fun. Like all sports, there is a time commitment with being on a team and we haven't gone that route. Whichever area you are interested in, Precision has it covered. My daughters have made excellent progress which is tracked by monthly skills tests. They keep track of what has been mastered with sticker charts. I love this! Our old gym did not keep track of progress. We love Precision and have recommend it to all of our friends! read more

We really like Precision Gymnastics. My daughter took a camp and trial class here. We like the place so much that we are having my daughter's birthday party here. Compared to other gymnastics places, Precision has a very nice viewing area with complimentary coffee, comfortable seating, charging stations.
