i wish i could give a lower rating. i went in with reference pictures of chocolate brown hair, like kate middleton, and i left looking like poison ivy. i hadn't realized how red and purple my hair was until i left the salon and was in natural lighting. that's when i realized i spent $169 to match winn dixie. when we asked for a partial refund, we were met with attitude and hostility. we were told that they could try to fix the color but the soonest they could get me in was in two days. the woman on the phone said "she didn't seem traumatized when she left the store" therefore it was my fault i didn't like the color and didn't say anything when i left. i liked the woman doing my hair and didn't want to hurt her feelings, my bad. they have lost mine and my mothers business permanently and we've been seeing them for three years. read more

I was a walk-in visiting from another state. The stylist did what I asked and took time and care to make sure I was happy. When I paying the bill the manager happened to notice a spot in my hair that needed some extra work and sat me down right away to finesse the style. I'm pleased with the cut! read more

This place is filthy! Everything about it was disgustingly filthy, the grime on the floor, even the comb used was filthy. The Health Department should close this place down! Be aware they add the tip to your total, Leaving the tip amount blank leading you to believe you still need to add a tip. Additionally, there is a $1 fee for using your bank card, which by the way when processed somehow becomes $2. Petty, but some people work hard for their money and do not like being fleeced. read more

OMG. What a horrible experience we had today at this place. The owner is flat out mean and abusive to her clients as well as her co workers. I cant even put words to what happened today, I'm still reeling from it. She was so offensive I couldnt wait to get out of there. Not only did I walk away looking like a pumpkin from botched highlights, she missed 50% of my grays. Frigging unbelievable, but hey what can you expect from someone who cant focus for more than 3 minutes max. And we were lucky to escape in 3 hours. I dont know what she is on, but I do know she needs to refrain from partaking while she has clients in the store. If she isnt boozing or taking drugs, she needs to go to Circles of Care. Im dead serious about that, it was scary. It was absolutely the worst salon experience I have ever had. Sarah on the other hand was absolutely wonderful with my daughter. I don't know who's writing these reviews but I just had probably the worst haircut I've ever had today! A simple men's cut ended up with the left side longer than the right, the neckline crooked as hell and my left side burn crooked and about 3/4" shorter than the other. Cost me $30.00 bucks with tip. I came here after having a bad experience at another salon. I had gone to the beauty supply store and was going to dye it myself since I'd had the bad experience at an expensive salon. The lady could tell I was nervous about dying it myself and when I asked her if she knew of a good salon and she recommended Precicion Hair. I called Precision Hair and explained what happened at the previous salon (they dyed it a funky dark blonde color then tried to fix and over processed and ruined my hair). The Precision Hair lady who answered the phone was so nice and compassionate so I went. Stylist Michelle F. at Precision Hair is the one who did my hair- and she gave me EXACTLY what I wanted- it looks even better than expected. If you have either blonde or long hair - Michelle is a stylist who "gets it". Thank you Michelle! I'll be back!! read more

I purchased a Groupon for a full highlight, and called today to schedule. Whoever answered the phone immediately berated me for not calling the salon first (?) to negotiate a price. Why run a Groupon if you're not going to honor it? She told me she would charge me an extra $30 because Groupon made a pricing mistake. She really needs a lesson in customer service, had I liked her doing my hair, she would have made up the lousy $30 and gained a customer WITH A BIG MOUTH TO BOOT. So offensive. read more

I took my wife here to have her hair and nails done before a park/beach photo shoot. We are visiting and didn't know of any places and some highly rated places appeared to be closed. This place was close to the hotel and could accommodate. Things started to go wrong when the woman doing her nails took an hour just for the pedicure! She applied and removed the polish 3 or 4 times because it was too thick (old?) and wouldn't apply right (a substantial portion chipped off before the end of the day). Her feet were quite well-maintained before we got there, as were her hands, which just needed polish. Afterward the guy who was supposed to do her hair straightening had taken another customer, so another woman started on the task. When I returned 2 hours after I dropped her, she was very upset as she felt she looked like a lion with a frizzy mane. At this point the man (sorry we didn't get his name) took over and managed to get her hair under control. He was also going to do her eyebrows and she decided to have him do her makeup as well. Unfortunately he had to work in another customer who had a reservation but had to wait while he rescued her hair. We were told that haircut would only take half an hour but it took over an hour as the clock ticked closer and closer to our photo appointment. Finally he was able to return to her makeup and she finished up literally 5 hours after she walked into the shop! The guy seems to have most of the customers and we can see why. The other stylists seemed to sit around talking to each other and the customers. Fortunately things turned out ok in the end and we had our pictures taken, but I admit I questioned it when we went 5 hours early...turns out they sucked up every available minute and we were still 15 minutes late! Unbelievable. Needless to say we will never return to this shop, although the male stylist deserves a better salon. read more

This place was horrible! I made the mistake of buying a Groupon for highlights. I got an 80's highlight job and a horrible haircut that I never asked for, but had to pay for. The place is dirty (dead roached in the corner) and the employees rude and unprofessional. My hair was so mistreated and burned I've had to leave it in conditioner for hours. I finally got a $12 box color from publix and fixed the color, which also helped the damage. Thank you Loreal! the cut will have to grow out! Do not go here!! read more

The owner is nuts. The man who did my hair is great. Price I was given over the phone wasn't the same as I was charged. The man was a bit upset when I said I wanted it shorter tho. He seemed angry. And when I paid and money was on the counter the owner came over and went through it after the stylist agreed that I had the right amount including the tip. I paid partially with cc and cash. That was so rude of her she said I was short $. As if the stylist needed the owner to come and recount everything. He has to explain he has the $ correct. AND that i had tipped him. So rude of her. I wont be going back. Tho I did like the stylist a lot. He did a great job with what i wanted. The owner is a bit nutty. That was so insulting on her part to do what she did. read more

BEWARE!!! I took my girlfriend to this salon this morning. She had set up an appointment by telephone for Valerie at 9:45 am. When she arrived, she was sat in a chair by another hairdresser who she assumed was just setting her up for Valerie. Before she knew it this other hairdresser was doing her color and screwing it up. She had to have another hairdresser help her and then a third. Neither hairdresser told my girlfriend that the first hairdresser did not do the color correctly. Only after Valerie came over to fix it was she informed of the problem. Three hours she sat in that chair as they worked to correct the issue and when she was finished, her hair looked the same as when she went in. It looked like they did nothing. Also, as she ran her hand through her hair in the car, the color came right out on to her fingers. In addition, I saw some of the same problems as other reviewers have. I was surprised that they had the audacity to charge her for the cut and color after their mistake and having to sit there all that time. Any decent business would have notified the customer immediately of a problem, apologized, fixed the issue, and waived their fee as a good faith gesture in the hopes of retaining the customer after a bad experience. I would advise you stay clear of the salon. Too many others around that want your business and will act like. read more

I had an appt with Valerie tonight and left before she even did my hair. She seemed a little pushy on the phone but I was open-minded. When I sat down, she ripped my hair out of my pony tail really hard. When I tried to tell her what I was looking for, she kept cutting me off and making me feel bad for not being able to explain it in hairdresser terms. She proceeded to make me feel stupid and spoke down to me for not having an exact, clear answer. I even tried to show her pictures, but she kept grabbing and hitting my phone and wouldn't let me speak. I asked about 3 times to see a swatch book, and she finally sat me down on a couch with it and walked away to tend to another customer she had left mid-shampoo. She then asked a different customer whose hair was processing to help me figure out what color I wanted. She kept coming up to me and grabbing me and getting in my face about figuring it out. I finally took off the cape and towel and politely told her I would come back later with a better picture of what I wanted, and walked out. I was uncomfortable from the get-go and will never be returning to this salon. read more

i have now spent the past 2 days at this place and i'm still not happy. yesterday we went and i asked for a blonde ombre - i said no to highlights and asked for it not to be orange. they argued with me about EVERYTHING i said - i wanted solid blonde and they said that would look awful, the woman insisted on putting in highlights to make it look "better", and she left clumps of brown "feathered in". every single time i said i wanted blonde they insisted that they wanted caramel. i showed them a picture of me when i had this exact thing done before but they wanted a stock photo so they found on themself - i just agreed because no matter what i said they just insisted on finding a photo. so, i ended up with highlights that were orange. the last couple of layers at the back of my neck were not even dyed. i literally cried for 3 hours before trying to come back at 5 p.m. we got there and they had closed an hour early. we paid 126 dollars including the tip and i literally had never looked worse. i had orange stripes all over my head like the ones that were in style in the early 2000's. so we came back this morning to try and fix the issue. the owner kept saying i looked just like the photo they pulled up except my hair wasn't blonde. she also commented that the other hairstylist, Crystal, had said after i left that i would be back because i wouldn't be happy. so i kept saying what i wanted now that i looked like this and she kept arguing with me so i just agreed after a while. now skip to her redying my hair - she just rubbed some brown over one of the highlights without even watching and not only did it barely do anything it ended up on my face. then she began re-bleaching my hair so aggressively that i had tears in my eyes and commenting the whole time on how "oh maybe you'll be happy this time". she was basically just pulling out my hair. she washed it out and barely put conditioner on it. the second she put it on she washed it out she didn't even wait 10 seconds. my hair is so fried from all of this i cant pull a hairbrush through it and there's still a ton of harsh lines and my bangs aren't properly blended AT ALL. i had a bad experience here before with highlights a few years back and i don't know why i even came back this time but i definitely won't be back after all of this. i'm probably going to dye over it with black or something in a few weeks because i really don't think i can go back to school like this. the snarky remarks and harsh treatment are so shocking and i don't understand why she has to argue with her clients. horrible treatment and i don't recommend this to anybody. read more
