About 6 months ago when closing our garage door with the wall-mounted remote, it errored with the message that the door was coming down with too much force. I checked for obstructions and tried again repeatedly, no change. So I detached the door from the opener to deal with another day, which turned into months. I recently contacted Precision, requested service, and made an appointment, a very simple process. The tech arrived on time, studied the system, and made very clear recommendations. In fact he prepared costs for 4 different levels of service. We selected the primo service (replace rollers, gaskets, seals, reattach the door to the opener, tune up the opener, and test, test, test, plus lifetime warranty). Not cheap, but certainly of great value to us (remembers that we *chose* the most expensive option). We even made another appt to return and replace the door seals for both sides & top, which he finished moments ago. Again, a great value and something we don't have to worry about. Highly recommend. Precision Garage Door installed a new garage door on our home with all of the associated equipment 15 years ago. This garage door undergoes, on average, four open and closings a day. It has performed exceptionally well over that time period. I have contacted the Precision Garage Door company a few times over that time frame for routine servicing. And this is the first thing that stands out about this excellent company; they are still there taking care of their clients. Recently, I began to experience sporadic issues with the door obstruction sensors and one of the door opener activation buttons. I would re-align these sensors and get the door to close. A few days ago, the door would not close. I called the number in my contacts for Precision, and I actually got a live person on the line within two rings. She arranged for a technician to be at my home within 30 minutes. I was quite pleased with this world class response. The technician mapped out four reasonable options from quickly resolving my existing issues to upgrading my entire door opening system (the door and track were in excellent shape and did not need to be replaced). There was no pushiness or pressure whatsoever. I was excited about upgrading my entire system as my existing door mechanisms had opened my garage door well over 20,000 times.
