We are extremely satisfied with the work and the customer service, but we wish we had shopped around, as many neighbors and friends were shocked that we paid $2900 to have our new system installed (with no door included). This also included a great warranty and, hopefully, free 2-year inspections for life. I was referred to GDI Garage Service from Wayne Dalton because I needed a new weather seal for my Waynecraft garage door. The representative encouraged me to have them come out at no charge. I expressed that I simply needed the part and they said that they don't sell parts directly to consumers. When I asked how much it would cost to provide the part and install it, they said $185!!! After the call, I discovered the weather seal on Amazon for $20 and ordered it myself to install instead of paying $165 to have them install something that would take 5 minutes. $165 to install a weather seal that takes 5 minutes and costs $20 is driveway robbery and I would I would not recommend this company. read more

Had a spring break on a Sunday. Called them up and they came right over. Spencer did the work quickly and works perfect now. Thank you for the work. Garage door 3 weeks later failed. I called them up they told me they could come 10-2. At noon they tell me they can't come today while my garage door won't open. So I investigated and found loose bolts on the opener and the opener hanging, had to call another place to come and fix it today so my wife can charge her car and be able to go to work on Monday. Aaron Bravo was the third garage door repairman to come by, and he was the only one who offered to actually repair the garage door belt. (Which I had the first garage door repairman do, but then didn't fix the problem - instead he claimed there was something wrong with the motor which was wrong.) Aaron not only replaced the garage door belt, but performed a multi-inspection so that I know what else will eventually need to be repaired/replaced. Being out of work, and having a problem that everyone is quoting $1000 to fix... I breathed a sigh of a relief when a much more affordable solution presented itself.
