We just had Precision Pool lead a large-scale backyard renovation--including a 20x40 pool and 2,000 sq ft of pavers--and our experience was great! As first-time homeowners taking on a huge overhaul, we were nervous about getting in over our heads. While a project this size isn't without stress (there are a ton of decisions to make and you can't control the weather!), Matt in particular made the whole process really digestible. He and Sean are incredibly knowledgeable and awesome to work with. They were amazingly patient with us along the way and always gave real, honest feedback. Any time we came in with crazy ideas, they helped us find a practical middle ground that actually made sense for our budget and real-world logistics. On top of that, the team took care of all the permit headaches and connected us with great tradespeople for electrical, plumbing, landscape design and hardscaping. What Dummies out here are writing these reviews? are they real people. These guys have zero clue what is going on. We finally fired them today, after all of this in the last two months. Day 1 - Pool opening - Precision Pool no showed. Apparently they went to the wrong house, who had no pool, and instead of following up or calling they just simply removed us from everything. After getting in touch with them a few days later finally, they got us back on the schedule a few weeks later at which point the guy showed up and said, i cant do this in one day, we will just come back. From then on, things just got worse, from missed cleanings, to no shows, to incorrect billings. Complete nightmare. I assume i finally talked to the owner here at the end, who let me know the person who was doing our house was let go, he offered no apology, no credits, and when i asked him about charges that were made when no one showed up, he said you were on the schedule so you were charged. lol How is this place in business? are people that desperate for pool cleanings? read more

Have used them for closings since 2018. No issues until this year. Non-cover closing and I remove ladder & step railing. Pointed out location for filter washout / old DE. Hose that reached "washout area" was also pointed out. Crew added chemicals and blew out lines & then prepared to leave. Would not have cleaned filter had I not reminded them. Filter cover removed and filter head washed out on pool deck (even though they knew where to wash filter) with old DE onto pool deck, foliage surrounding the deck and into the mulch bed on the edge of the deck. Drain hose from filter unit left fully extended with old DE and water still inside. Large filter tub left with DE in bottom vice cleaned out. Pump filter basket not cleaned. After cleaning the filter head nuts and bolts were partially installed, some barely finger tight, others just started. I spent considerable time cleaning up and rectifying their unacceptable job performance. Took pictures of their incompetence and together with a descriptive email I emailed "Matt" and "Pam" on 17 SEP 24. On 26 SEP 24 I emailed asking if they'd received my email. Response was "I spoke to the guys and they did not think this was the case". Matt was willing to send the "guys back out to rectify any issues". OBVIOUS that my email and photo attachments were ignored. No acknowledgement of my email until I followed up, of the issues, or of the photos which were date / time stamped. Offer to send "guys back out" was moot as I'd already unscrewed their incompetence. UNSAT that "Matt" never took the time to read AND process my email let alone answer it. NO offer of a reduction as to the $319.96 bill for which I did all the clean up INCOMPETENT, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE TO A 7 YEAR CUSTOMER. STAY AWAY. read more

I never leave bad reviews but Precision was so unprofessional I had to write one so that others don't find themselves in the same situation. After building and installing our pool we pushed for the final city inspection. When the city came out to inspect it it turns out that the wall the pool sits on was built out of code and Precision refused to take responsibility. They told us to either pay for the cost of the repairs ourself or to just leave the permit open. We have dealt with many contractors over the years and this was by far the most disappointing and unprofessional experience we have ever experienced. read more

I've used Precision Pool for the last seven years, but will no longer call them for service. I did not know any better when we moved to our house but I noticed the pool closing procedures varied each year. Now I realize it is poor management and inconstancy in service levels. The guys who came each year were friendly, prompt, and seemed knowledgeable so for them I give the extra star in the rating. Otherwise, 1 star max based on the tone deaf customer service. Dismissed a valid question of a long time customer and I'll leave it at that. Try not to insult your customers. read more

I would leave Zero stars if I could. The worst customer service on the planet. The pool opening this year was a disaster. They just pulled off the cover, leaves/debris and all, and threw shock in. Water level was way too high (no skimming) They left the pool in a disastrous mess, that took us weeks to fix on our own. When I called to get help, they said it would be another costly visit and that it would be way off into the future, because they were too busy. Pool guys are great! The reason I gave 1star is purely because of the billing department and customer service. The billing department seems very unprofessional and inexperience. invoice does not show payment terms neither does staff. I had my pool opening end of May couldn't pay cash so they invoice. I mailed a check that apparently didn't get there. got a call from Billing 35 days after service threatening me with small claims court if I didn't pay by 1 today. Went to store to pay and it doesn't exist anymore. no store or offic. I was told to leave check in the postal mailbox which btw is illegal. To threaten to Sue me after 30 days is obscen. read more

Contacted them on 5/31. Technician came 6/7, said parts should be ready in a week or two. After 3 weeks I called them. Parts on order supposedly, but they did not have the right filter. So they still needed to order that. Six weeks later-- they sent us an invoice on email, never phoned that they would be here and they still have not installed the filter. Sooooo. . .not very efficient, not very organized and why send a bill when we still cannot use our hot tub? read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. My husband is disabled and swimming is the only exercise he can do. Swimming at the gym is no longer a good solution. We decided we would get an Endless Pool. I called and left a message for sales on Sunday, May 10. No one returned my call. I called again on Tuesday and spoke with Jim. He told me that everyone is working from home due to COVID 19 and he did not get the message. Jim told us he had one pool left. He gave us all the information and then had us talk to Matt. Matt seemed very nice and gave us the information we needed. We made an appointment for Matt to come to the house to give a price to pour the pad. Jim sent us a quote and pictures of the unit. I applied for financing which gave them a $10k down payment. Everything seemed to be moving along nicely. On Friday, May 15th at 4:50 Jim called and informed us that he sold the unit to another customer. He told us that another sales person had sold the unit and there was nothing he could do - despite the fact that he had already sold it to us. In one word - this company is UNETHICAL and I would never do business with them. In fact, run as fast as you can! Most companies are at least professional until the sale is complete. read more

We went with precision pool on our new pool, Matt came out and promised the world, told us 3 weeks in and out, after 3 months of excuses only to find out they were on other jobs, we finally got them come and finish. We told Matt what liner we wanted, he ordered it and installed it, then we saw it was the wrong one, he said because of the trouble we had getting them to finish the pool he would get the liner we wanted in the spring when they did the opening and change it out. The spring came and they couldn't remember saying that, then Pam just kept telling me that "you got the liner that was ordered!", no matter how many times we told her that they ordered the wrong one, so she said if we're not happy to go to another company, her attitude is shameful, then our wrong liner started to stain around the top, they came out and blamed the water PH, told us the liner rep was scheduled to come out and warranty a new one, then as expected they blew us off again and kept blaming us for the staining. Great customer service in my opinion. Left a review on their website and it mysteriously disappeared, only leaving their top reviews to mislead everyone. I would NEVER do business with this company! If it were possible I would give them a -5 million stars!! We had them install a fence for us in AUG 2007. We provided them with a Grading Plot Plan to install the fence within the boundaries of our property. We paid them $9,660. When we went to sell our property in MAY 2020, the buyer's had a survey completed on 5/16/2020 and the determination was there was "possible encroachment on two of our neighbor's property and we were forced to get an instrument survey to prove accuracy". When I contacted Precision Pool multiple times, NO ONE WOULD CALL ME BACK to discuss the issue and or help me resolve the matter. The first time I called, I should have received a call back. I finally talked to Jim (who was not involved during the fence installation). He told me they haven't done fence work for 10 years (I should hope not because they didn't know what they were doing with ours). He assured me that "everything should be fine" since we had provided them with a Grading Plot Plan and we could take HIS word for it. Ummm . . . NO! Precision should have come out and proved the fence they installed was indeed on our property. Since no one had time to talk about the issue and how to resolve it, we needed to move forward and schedule an instrument survey to be done 6/1/2020 or risk the pending sale on our home. If there was an issue, Precision needed to make it right. When the surveyors came out, it was determined that the fence was indeed encroaching on golf course land and my next door neighbor's land. Due to Precision's error on not installing the fence within our property lines, we had to pay $2,450 for land surveying services to prove that was in fact, true. I wrote Precision a DETAILED letter outlining every message I left for them, who I talked to, who I asked for, urgency of the matter, what needed to be done, all the receipts for the surveying services and that they owed us $2,450 since they would not come out and access the situation and/or make it right. I hand delivered the letter addressed to Sean Canning, President since he is the only person left from the time of the work and he had bought the company. I took a photo of the man that accepted my package (Matt, who said, "he would get it to Sean") as proof of receipt since no one had talked to me and I was sure they would say they never received my packet. 20 minutes later I get a call from Pam who told me, "Don't ever come into our store and take a picture of an employee here again. It's against their rights and they will call the police if I'm seen on their property again." I said, "No problem. But I needed to take the picture to have proof that someone received my package." She said she "had not opened the envelope and she will make sure that Sean gets the contents of the envelope". Hmmm . . . How did she get my cell phone number if she didn't open the envelope? By the way, in the state of MA if you are in a public place, there's no issue with another taking a picture of you (unless there is a sign posted otherwise, and there was not, in this case). If you see someone taking your photo without your permission, it's your right to ask him or her to stop (which Matt didn't). Bottom line, Sean NEVER called me back to resolve my issue and I am seeking other means to get it, as well. In addition to telling everyone I know via every means I have available, I will be posting this review on every review site I can find. This organization and its staff are the most unprofessional, unreliable, incompetent and irresponsible bunch of people I've ever dealt with in my entire life and I have no idea how they stay in business.
