Marc was flexible and understanding in coordinating a convenient time to have the battery change. When I first called he was able to give me an accurate quote for the battery replacement and had the parts (which the Mini dealer could not even confirm with me over the phone when I called them). The price for the battery replacement was $150 less than the dealership and was done much more quickly at GPS than the Boston dealership offered me. They even have access to the dealership records for maintenance and were able to add on an oil change which was long overdue. Everyone was incredibly nice, fair, competent, and authentic. GPS has gained a new longterm customer!

At the Manchester dealer I was quoted well over $9K for a bike I just paid $7K for from Rochester. Also here in Rochester I got a 5 year warranty with the lower price. They were only discussing a 3 year warranty for that larger price in Manchester. But more than that, Rochester Motorsports was a low-pressure, hassle-free negotiation. They answered all of my questions about their dealer fees and warranty fees right up front as soon as I asked. Their dealer fees were a fraction of the dealer fees the Manchester dealer was offering. And they wanted over $200.00 to deliver my bike to me in Portsmouth from Manchester. Do yourself a favor and just go to Rochester first. Do your homework like a smart consumer, so that you know the actual MSRP of the product you are buying and can understand how much in fees the dealer piles on. You can even Google the estimated costs for repairs or the frequency of breakdowns for a particular model. But in the end you should buy your bike or ATV from Rochester Motorsports. I have purchased two brand new bikes in under a year from Cycles 128. The first bike was a brand new 2017 Kawasaki Versys X, but it was at their sister dealership in Arlington (Cycles128 doesn't sell Kawasaki). My salesman at the time was Billy, and he was able to have the bike transferred from Arlington to Beverly for me, and I hadn't even put a deposit down on it. yet. This was based on a phone call I had made while on vacation in Costa Rica. Convenient! The whole process was easy, painless, and very relaxed. There was never any pressure or upselling, and it never felt predatory as vehicle sales so often are. Fast forward to just under a year later, and I decided to upgrade to a Suzuki VStrom 650. This time I had the great pleasure of dealing with Ellen Petrilli and Rick Brandano. Yet another chill, great experience. I told them right up front what I was looking for, and with that knowledge, they showed me other alternatives to consider but never discouraging me from my original goal. Their inventory is incredibly vast and a virtual candy store, and I was glad for the other options that were shown to me. I had my heart set on the VStrom, so we got down to business. Worth noting was a little hiccup on Suzuki's part, as their manufacturer website claimed that there were certain accessories included with the bike that tuned out not to be. Not a concern because Rick and C128 were on the case and miraculously got Suzuki to make good on their claim. They didn't have to do that, because most dealerships would predictably claim their hands were tied and just shrug it off. But not these guys. They totally prevailed and saved the day. That I will never forget. The numbers part of the operation was handled by Brad, with whom I had worked with on my prior purchase as well. Another great asset to the company. I now half-expect people to yell "Norm!" when I walk into the place now because I dealt with a lot of people and they're just a warm bunch. Just awesome.

The work was completed both times by Berlin City Honda and cost almost $2k in total. Tyler's assessment was that the newer calipers were sticking again so I decided to take the auto back to Honda for the warranty on the parts to be honored. The quote from Berlin City was $1,800 to install the warranty parts and replace the brake pads, rotors and hose flush. I told them to not touch my car and took it back to TG Auto. I gladly paid Tyler to make the corrections at a fraction of the cost. A month later...all is still running great and no grinding sounds or "hot" smell has returned. Take away, if you want honesty, integrity, and solid work for a fair price on your vehicle, take it to Tyler Glilbert of TG Automotive in Saco.
