I finally checked Yelp and found Santos with his good reviews. He came out quickly, gave a fair estimate, said he could do it the next day. He arrived a little late with his truck and small crew but went right to work and did the whole job in just 3 hours. I had expected a lot of chainsaw noise but they did a lot of cutting with handsaws, using the power tools mostly to cut up and grind the wood. Very impressive work and a great personality. For those of you who also had a bad experience with this company, make sure to file a complaint with the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs: https://njconsumeraffairs.state.nj.us/file-a-complaint/ E-Z Tree Care's proposal for my property included: (i) the removal of a tree in our back yard, (ii) removal of brush; (iii) flush cut stump; (iv) removal of all wood; and (v) grinding of stump and all visible surface roots from 3 to 5 inches below grade. On the first day, the crew did all but grinding out the stump. Joe demanded the immediate full payment and promised to come back the next day. They never came back. As a threshold matter, E-Z Tree Care's website indicates that it is licensed and insured. E-Z Tree care is not licensed and the owner won't provide a copy of his insurance policy. Also E-Z Tree Care advertises a guarantee on its website that states the company is "[t]he Most Thorough Tree Care EVER... GUARANTEED or it's FREE!". I was wholly unsatisfied with EZ Tree Care's and demanded a full refund. The owner (Joe) was extremely argumentative and began screaming that the work completed was "good enough." Joe and E-Z Tree Care, thereafter, ignored my demands for a refund and never came back to finish the job. In the end, I had to hire a real professional to come out to complete the job (to the tune of $350). Be forewarned.

Our concern was possible future home damage from a storm and or heavy snow fall. Mr. Medino tagged the trees, and we agreed upon the price. He was working about 2 weeks out depending upon weather. I emailed his office a list of dates as I wanted to be at my home during the work. He contacted me 4 days prior by text along with a copy of his insurance which we requested. The crew of 6 arrived promptly at 8:00AM to our Voorhees Home. I was impressed by the meticulous attention to protecting our grass by placing rubber mats down for a large tree lift crane to get access to our rear property and avoiding sprinkler heads which I had tagged. The crew was well protected with hard hats and goggles. Safety for home and workers were important to us. They skillfully sectioned our over 30 feet scrub pines, fed them through their chipper on sight at the curb and then used the lift to prune back oak tree branches overhanging our driveway. A small section of our cedar fence had to be removed for access which they replaced at the end of the job. Stumps were ground flat. All debris were removed from the property and Mr. Tito inspected the job. We paid by Bank check. My husband and I give them 5 Stars. They have skilled workers, the correct equipment, and the expertise in their field.
