Rick is the man. I ended up staying and watching the work done on my wheel. Absolute great job. I thought a wheel weld would just be down and dirty slap on metal and pray it doesnt crack again, but I now have greater peace of mind. Rick put a lot more time into prepping the area, cleaning and sanding, then did multiple welds on both sides of the crack. Hello guys! If you're looking for someone to butcher your wheel and make it look like complete cow manure, this is your guy! To start, I came in with a wheel that had a normal crack from poor road surfaces, it was located on the inner wall on the rim of the wheel, it was about 5/8" to 3/4" long, so fairly small, right?! He made the repair area MUUUCH larger then what it needed to be. The crack ended at edge or corner of the inner barrel of the wheel. What should have been done is you drill a small hole at the very end of the crack to prevent it from spreading further, cut a very small groove, and Champer off in order to create more surface area for the well to grab onto. Instead, he put a large glob of weld on the inner barrel, about 1.25 x 1.25" also very thick. After grinding with only a 3 inch die grinder moving up in the grits of sandpaper to make it smoother, he proceeds to just use some rust oleum black spray paint, keep in mind that the wheel is a metallic gray. Not even the edge of the wheel was nicely sanded, or grind it down somewhat flush, it was done horribly. He tried giving me his finish product with that big glob of weld on the inside of the wheel, I asked him is this how you repair it, and why don't you grind and sand down the excess material. He proceeds to get upset. I explain how I am unhappy with his work. He tugs away the wheel from me and frustratingly starts grinding down the glob of weld that he left. Overall I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE SHOP TO ANYONE!!!!! This guy probably doubled the amount that I have to pay in order to get my wheel repaired properly or possibly forced me to get a new wheel. Also, this is not his first time doing this type of work. He says that he's ever got any complaints, I told him maybe they don't know any better, coming from a guy who has been in the automotive industry nearly my entire life. Even after this whole fiasco, he still expected to be paid at least $100, he originally quoted me 175, personally I really think it would've been the right thing to do to completely refund me. So here's my final warning, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM, DON'T GIVE HIM YOUR MONEY, AND DON'T LET HIM TOUCH A SINGLE WHEEL OF YOURS, OR EVEN CAR. read more

It was great working with them. Very personal service. If you don't like hanging out a little while you decide your options then these guys aren't for you. They will offer you water and talk with you. They showed me a lot of options but they also made some suggestions as well. In the end the wheels that I dropped off had curb rash, bends, and scrapes. When I picked the wheels up, they were like new. All blemishes were removed and the gold color we settled on looked amazing especially in the sun. Great suggestion. Important to note is that the wheels mounting surfaces were not painted over. This is important because another place I went to for restoring another set of wheels did a horrible job painting my those other wheels. The mounting surfaces were completely covered which you're not supposed to do. These guys did a fantastic job. I'll be bringing them more work in the future. The reviews are justified.
