I have been looking everywhere to find tires for my 2024 Prius Prime. It is a weird size tire and we wanted the Michelins and everyone was out of stock. Ron's tire has a big Michelin sign that you can see from the road so I finally went there. It is family owned by Father and Son and I am so happy that I stopped. They had the tires in stock at the warehouse and picked them up and gave me a call. Incredible customer service, I came back in the afternoon, and 1 hour later the tires were on my car. They rotated the tires but unfortunately the one that needed repair was at the tread depth mark and said it may not hold. DC, his son and the whole team are great! I went to them last year when I had a flat from a nail, and they fixed the tire free of charge. I was so happy, and said I would buy a new set of tires from him when the time came. Last month, my dealer told me that I would need to replace my tires soon. That day came last week when I was shopping and researching new tires for my Honda Clarity and happened to get a flat the next day. I called DC, and he was able to offer the best price for the Continental tires I was looking for. I didn't have to wait for TireRack to deliver as they were able to get the tires the same day. My wife limped home today on a completely flat tire on her 2019 Nissan Leaf. Luckily she was nearby so there was hope that the tire could be salvaged. I jacked up the car, dismounted the wheel and drove up the street from San Marino up to the two closest tire centers I knew of, Just Tires and Ron's Tire & Wheel. I noticed that RTW had recently replaced the former business at the location American Tire Depot so I decided to give them a try. I quickly glanced at my phone and noticed that they had excellent Google reviews, so that gave me additional confidence that I could get a fair deal. I rolled the tire/wheel into the front office where the manager DC greeted me and took a look at it right away without asking for any paper work filled out. We saw that there was a tiny leak and that he would investigate within the next half hour and give me a call. I drove back home and when he called me, gave me an honest opinion on what my options were. The inside of the sidewall had melted from heat and it was not in a safe condition and he could quickly order a new tire by the next morning, even though this model tire was rare. I discussed options like cheaper tires and he found a much cheaper equivalent sized one for about half the price. I was OK with this, so when I arrived, I was really pleased to learn that he decided to upgrade me to a better tire (~$30 more) for the same agreed price. Overall, my family and I had a pretty great impression of the facility. My son noted that their bathroom was really clean, and my wife was impressed with it as well. DC seems to be really knowledgeable and will provide honest opinions about all your options, so that you don't get a sense of any high pressure sales. Since he's been in the business long enough to have a good network (he explained that he can beat any price, even mail order options like Tire Rack), he seems like a very attractive resource for my future upgrade or repairs. Give them a try. I noticed they are listed only on Google Reviews, so hopefully this Yelp review can grant them a little more visibility. read more

I've been here a few times to have my tires rotated. They are always professional and quick. But today DC was so amazingly helpful for me. I got a flat on the fwy. While I was waiting on the fwy for the tow truck I called this shop and DC was so friendly and helpful. He even let me send him a picture of my tire to see if he had it in stock. We were towed directly there and he came out to greet us. DC really gave me peace of mind. Luckily, the tire was reparable and the service was very quick. Went here a couple days ago for brakes. The Toyota dealer quoted me as 2mm(?) left but Ron's said it was 5mm and I still had another 5-10k miles on the brakes. Pep Boys and Firestone said they couldn't align my older vehicle's wheels because their computers couldn't bring up the proper codes for older cars, so I brought my car to Ron's Tire.
