I was pleased with my purchase & the help of the sales associate behind the register. She was pleasant and fun. Once home, I realized she left the sensor tags on 2 of 3 pairs of jeans. I just left the store and VERY HAPPY! The store manager gave me an extra Haute Cash for October for being so understanding about the tags. I didn't say anything about the dressing room situation to her, but figured I'd give everyone a heads up.

The one thing that seems to remain and allow parents some relaxation and the kids some fun is the play area. My son could spend hours here if I let him lol. He climbs, he walks, and he plays. There are comfy chairs and sofas to sit in. They have a charging station, and they have hand sanitizer!! The bathroom near the play area is family friendly and has a hard changing area. It would be nice if there was a lip there to ensure children didn't fall. The bathroom in the food courts is a whole different story. It is a FAMILY bathroom. There is no buckle on the changing table and the changing table tilts down. Perfect setting for a child to fall. The mall is light and vibrant in most spaces. It's a good place to just walk around and window shop. Mostly I miss all stores having dressing rooms.

For Thanksgiving weekend they were running a 50% off storewide sale, and for every $50 you spent you got $25 Real Woman Dollars, which basically work like 50% off coupons. So in other words I scored $400 worth of clothes for $200 and I got coupons to get an additional $100 off a $200 purchase at a later date. The great thing about the Real Women Dollars is that you can combine them with other coupons. I currently have a $40 rewards check, so when I combine that with my RWD I'll be able to get $200 worth of clothes for $60. That being said, I wait to shop here until they are running a good sale, which seems to happen two or three times a year. The clothing can be expensive, and while it's worth it IMO, I simply don't have room in my budget to pay full price. This particular store is located in Greenwood Park Mall. I find it easiest to park near Dick's and Sears and enter the mall through one of those stores. They typically have a good selection in the clearance area and I've gotten some really great deals on blazers. The accessories section isn't huge but they have cute, trendy jewelry and scarves. They've added a shoe section as well, which makes me INCREDIBLY happy. It's hard to find knee high boots that fit my shapely calves and every pair I tried on here fit and I wanted them ALL. It was hard to control myself. The staff here are incredibly helpful and know the clothing lines very well. They let me know which items tend to shrink or stretch. The bras and jeans here fit me so well. I think it's genius that a plus-size clothing store had the brains to realize that not all curvy girls are curvy in the same way. So there are three different fits to their line of Right Fit jeans, and they are color coded: red, blue, or yellow. I love mine, I don't get that awful gap in the back of my pants anymore. I'd say about 75% of my clothing is from LB and I doubt I've paid full-price for any of it. The selection is ever changing and varied enough that both I (in my early 30's) and my mother-in-law (in her late 50's) can find things here we like.

I take a 46DD but the items ran small (another confusing consideration as this is geared toward plus sized gals like myself.) I required a 48DD. They do not carry them in store (in underwire), but online. This is nonsensical in my opinion; shouldn't a customer be able to try the product on? I was able to get a deal on some comfy, wire-free pieces but it was not what I originally wanted. I will shop here in the future but not for bras.

There is parallel parking on both sides of the street. If Zydeco's is busy there's additional parking to the West plus a parking lot. I love supporting small business owners who take such pride in their business. We were greeted by a very pleasant woman, and her adorable, tini poodle, Ivory, upon entering the store. She casually chatted with us as we shopped, made us feel very welcomed and was never overbearing. The store is very light, open and spacious. The front half has really sweet, affordable, home decor and a variety of jewelry. Women's clothing, shoes and dressing rooms are to the rear. She carries womens clothing from size small to plus sizes without the boutique prices. Take the time to try on clothing, if time permits, because she doesn't give refunds, only a store credit. Something More is well organized, nice groupings of home decor (mirrors, vases, candles, etc.), jewelry and cute clothing arranged by sizes. There's a furniture grouping (sofa, coffee table, etc.) as you enter but I didn't check to see if it was for sale or waiting husbands. I found some great gift items as I browsed the store and purchased a couple nice blouses. I look forward to visiting Something More when in Mooresville again.
