I stopped in to make an appointment for an estimate and was told if I could wait a few minutes they would be able to help me. A few minutes later, Cameron did exactly what he said. He was able to order the new bumper that day and replace it the very next day. Cameron went beyond the scope of work we agreed to by removing sticky tape residue as well. Not knowing any body shops around town I was refereed here by the Prescott Nissan dealership. I wasn't very confident with my decision to come here because of their one star Yelp review but I went for it anyway. My car was in a minor rear end car accident and painting the bumper was the only thing that had to be done. The owner ( or the manager ) is a very nice guy! He gave me a quote that I sent to the person who hit my car and started to work on the bumper. Three big issues: - Over estimated the time it took to do the job - Once the quote was "locked" and the person responsible for the accident paid, I got a call from the body shop saying that "Oh sorry, we need more money" - They did a poor job paining the bumper. As a responsible person, the owner however, when found out that the party at fault already paid, did a great thing and said "Don't worry about the extra money". And later, when he saw the poor job his employees did got me a rental for a couple of more days and fixed everything. So to summarize there were definitely problems but at the end I was left as a happy customer with my car fixed ( thanks to Cameron). It's all that matters. read more

I had my car towed here to get an estimate on the damages after a minor car accident. They never did tell me what the estimate was - just decided to do the work without getting my verbal OR written permission. Not cool! I was fully intending on having them do the repairs, but after that unethical behavior, I had my auto insurance tow my car to another shop to complete the work. However, thanks to their actions, my auto insurance reduced my deductible costs - so for that, thank you Preferred Auto Body. Great service from the second I walked in the door. The ladies working the front were knowledgeable, very friendly, and honest. I turned my 2018 WRX in on Monday evening because someone sideswiped my rear bumper and was told it would be ready by Friday afternoon. Got a call Friday afternoon saying my car was done. Avoid, especially if you are in an accident with someone insured by AAA. Preferred doesn't mean that they're preferred by the other driver. They are preferred by the insurance company. I was rear ended hard, and harder by them. In collusion with AAA, they didn't fix my rear hatch that was rendered unusable by the impact. The adjuster at AAA refused the repair without ever seeing the vehicle. A true case of the tail wagging the dog. When confronted with the facts of the situation, and my refusal to sign off on the 'repair', the body shop owner threatened me with physical force, tried to physically stand between me and entering my vehicle, even though his technician agreed with me that I owed nothing, and that there was no outstanding balance against me. Preferred Auto Body is simply bad news, and they are NOT going to stand up against an insurance company when they deny your rightful claim. read more

Even though the Yelp reviews were marginal, I did read that they were "under new ownership" so I decided to give them a try. I have a '13 Dually that had a fender dent needing repaired. I stopped by at about 9:15 in the morning, got out of my truck (no easy feat, since my truck is pretty large and I was hobbling on crutches due to a recent foot surgery) and made my way into the office. I told them I was needing someone to look at my truck. The nice lady looked down at a guy sitting at the desk and he just shook his head no. She said that "all my estimators are busy" and asked if I could just come back later in the afternoon. I was more than willing to wait, but that option wasn't offered. Oh sure, I'll be happy to come back this afternoon and hope you can spare 2 minutes of your time to give me an estimate. But I'm sure you'll probably be too busy then as well, so why don't I just keep coming by every day and hope that you'll bless me with the privilege of taking my money. Give me a break -- I've got better things to do with my time than drive back and forth to your shop in hopes that you can spare a few minutes. So...I gave the "new ownership" a chance -- they blew it. Moving on... read more

After getting one bid to repair dent in rear lift gate, went to Nisson dealer where purchased. They do not do body repair however recommended Prefered Auto Body. Their estimate was considerbly less because they repaired the lift gate verses replacing entire lift gate. That saved me money as I decided to pay the bill since I carry $1000 deductible, and it wasn't that much over deductible. They delivered the car on date promised, looking like new, completely washed and cleaned and less cost than estimated. Count me completely satisfied. read more
