Ralph and crew are great. They don't overcharge and will get you vehicle back quickly.

I try to do all my auto work because of reliability/trust issues with auto shops. Truck needed a fuel pump and the gas tank needs to be dropped to replace. Too much work for me to do. Took truck in to replace a fuel pump. I provided the fuel pump. Took about 3 hours. Once picked up, told me fuel pump works but gauge is reading empty. (this pump is in the tank and there is a lever with a float attached to the pump). Went to the gas station to put in gas and tank would not vent at all. Couldn't fill it. They stated I must have a bad pump. Got a new one under warranty and went to another shop. Found out first shop pinched a wire in the new pump, forgot to attach the float and lever to the new pump, and crushed a vent line with one of the tank support brackets. I guess my reliability / trust issues are valid. read more

I took my truck to Ralph's AKA Morrison motors for a transmission problem, it was slipping in 2nd gear. He told me I needed a total overhaul for a total of $2000 after a few phone calls the price went to over $3000 dollars. I Had problems as soon as I left and returned 4 times with no success. One of the times he said your pissing me off and told me to get the F.... out of my shop. Took it to Northern Transmission in Cottonwood and he redid the Transmission and pointed out numerous problems that was done improperly. For another $1750. JOE was very professional and pointed out all the mistakes the Ralph's made. All is well with the truck now. read more

After lie after lie telling me my transmission was repaired , It was not ! For ten weeks car was in their shop . I had to take my car to another transmission shop to be repaired correctly .To make a long story short I had to take them to small claims court. I won and collected the $3000.00 I had spent there. My advice to anyone thinking of going there is to....... RUN,RUN,RUN. The only reason I rated them so highly is because there's no rating that is lower. Read Larry W rating. read more

Amazing shop. I have an issue going on with my air conditioning and took my car in. They spent the morning taking the system apart and couldn't find anything wrong. Because they couldn't find anything, they didn't charge me. I even asked three times if I could pay for their time and they refused. I will take the car back when/if the issue arises again. I had an accident that caused front-end damage to the lower frame, power steering box, alignment, left front CV joint/axle, and all the little parts that go with it. They did a great job repairing everything and getting it back to me in a short period of time. I had an issue with it afterward not related to the accident damage or repairs that they did before, so I took it back to them and they repaired the issue with it for free. They really went the extra mile for me, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs minor or major car repair work done fast and professionally. read more

We took my girlfriend's truck in for a transmission replacement. Turned out to not need it and they fixed the problem for a lot less than expected. As a single woman, I am always a bit unsure when taking my car/pickup to a mechanic due to bad experiences over the years. My Pickup had a few different issues a couple of weeks ago one which was my steering wheel had a shimmy. I was told by my prior shop "probably just needed to have an alignment". I decided to check out Morrison Automotive because their reviews were all good. According to Ralph, the 2 front tires were dangerously ready to come apart. Ralph said the tread was moving back & forth, side to side and had they gotten hot, one or both could come apart while driving. At Morrison's I Got 2 new "Coopers" which was the easy fix. My prior, other local shop said my 4 wheel drive did not work because I needed extensive Transmission repairs. They told me the 4 wheel drive stopped working sometime after they last saw my truck & gave me a ball park $. I decided to check around, thank goodness I found Ralph and his mechanics. I do not speak auto engines but have a little knowledge. According to Ralph, 4 wheel drive would not have worked because part of the shifting portion was put on backwards and could not go in far enough to engage. NOT what the Previous Shop told me. A part was put on backwards by a past mechanic. I actually got to see it when PU was up on the lift, prior to their doing the work. Even I could tell it was backwards. A family member's scion's tranny is blown. I'm very familiar with auto repair. Domestics to BMW's, how systems work or don't, from years of doing my own work. I'm now disabled from being hit by another car, so I can only advise her now. I explained to the nice enough front office guy that I'm familiar with all types of auto repair to chat him up and let him know I know what time it is. I also explained that my mother is retired, but still working thanks to the big 0, I mean O. She's driving an almost 10 year old Scion for craps sake and yes, still making payments due to buying used. Clearly, she's not a high roller! We leave the car overnight. They call her the next AM. They say, yadda, yadda, yadda, so your discounted price to repair not replace, as I asked to know if it was cheaper to just yank out the old and drop in the reman'd trans. A re-manufactured (all new original parts, same as new!!) but a third the cost. So he quotes her a total of $3,750! She called me in a panic. I said Mom, they're gouging you by over $2,000!! I went online, found a "reman'd" complete auto trans, shipped to us for "free" for $1,100. It comes with a 5 year, 100,000 mile, full warranty. Our closest neighbor is a very specialized, high end mechanic. When I went to ask him about doing it, he had completely taken apart and cleaned to a shine, the entire transmission and transfer case, 700+ parts to assemble by decades of working in a shop, he could complete the entire job by memory. The vehicle was a newer Dodge 3500 diesel 4x4. 1 in 10,000 mechanics could maybe do this level without a manual.. He said he'd remove and replace the transmission for $300. Total cost now: $1,400. I'm sure they pay no more than $1K for an entire reman'd tranny. So they wanted to make almost $3,000 in profit off my retired Mom. Don't waste any time with them, let alone a ton of money. read more
