yeah, forget about it. they've serviced a car of mine that I had bought from them, with the promise that they'd take care of the engine light. seems not only did they fail to keep their promise, they charged me a hundred bucks (even though they promised when I bought the car to take care of said problem, AND I was under the highest cost warranty) only to NOT solve the problem...I'll NEVER deal with them again. so, 4 years after my above review (which I was very mild in my review of their service dept.), I still wanna throw my remote at the TV every time I see an ad for them! I'm happy (still) with the car they sold me, and the car sales lady was very cool, but everything after that was a complete circus, including an oil change that didn't include a new filter (!!), and so much more that I hadn't listed above. again, I gave their service center a whole week to fix my engine light, just to start it up, in their parking lot (after business hours), with the light STILL ON! I was so disgruntled, I wanted to drive the damn car thru the showroom window, but kept my wits about myself, and promised to NEVER have this place touch my car again! *sorry for the rant, I just happened to see one of their TV ads, and wondered what I wrote about it on this site* :) read more

I have leased 3 vehicles from Preferred Ford, 2 Explorer Sports and 1 Flex. Each leasing experience has gotten progressively better, especially the initial sales/closing. This last lease at the end of February was outstanding, honestly far exceeding my expectations. I called the salesmen, told him what I wanted and asked him to have everything setup so I could just drop into the dealership, sign documents and be out within 30 minutes. My salesmen, Jason Holland, had my new car 100% prepared and waiting outside when I arrived, he greeted me at the door and had me in and out in literally 15 minutes... it took 15 minutes. I will stick with Preferred Ford as long as they continue to care about customers like this and I'd recommend Jason to family and friends. Well done. read more

I suppose most reviews for a car dealership are going to be unfavorable. But I've had just the opposite reaction with their Sales process. I've now bought two new vehicles from John S. and only have positive things to say. Process went smoothly both times but the second required searching other dealers' inventory for the vehicle my daughter wanted because Ford had closed ordering on the present model year. Not only did John find the exact specifications we would have ordered but had it delivered from IL the next day. Vehicle was prepped and paperwork was ready the following morning. He even advised us to sell her 2008 Fusion on our own but would hold the offer on a trade-in for 30 days. Well done, John. read more

Any organization that could be in favor of defunding law enforcement is a company that should rethink who's making decisions on their company board. What's crazy is you profit off of law enforcement in police vehicles by around 60% of your sales give or take. (That will be coming to a halt) When defunding the police you take away the amount of available police to help which means if someone was to break into or damage your property it's going to be a lot longer for them to get there and cases will take longer to be resolved. You have not done yourselves any favors and you will soon feel the results from this ignorant decision. I can't wait to see Ford take this plunge read more

I recently purchased an f 150 with the 3.0 l diesel motor, the truck was slightly used having only 5500 miles on it. My sales person Paul went above and beyond what I expected when buying my new truck. I am very pleased with both the performance and appearance of my new to me 2018 ford F-150. I am also very pleased with the sales department and especially Paul as he had followed up on the vehicle and provided me a comfort level when purchasing a new vehicle. My sales man was Dave Riemersma and not only did I get a Ford Ranger from them but brought my son to get a car. I am very glad we bought the extended warranty because it was a Toyota high bred & it had 120,000 miles on it. Well I'm so glad we did as the check lights started coming on so we called them. Not only did we get it taken care of but we were allowed to use a car from them at no cost while we waited. It was a $4,000 bill that we do not have to pay anything for. Was looking for a used vehicle for my son. test drove a vehicle and decided to buy it a couple days later. after purchasing the vehicle, i drove it off the lot and realized immediately there was something wrong/ different from test drive. took it back and they pulled it into service and found a couple of parts that needed repairs. they took care of it. Our 2007 Ford Freestyle experienced transmission problems and we just able to get it to the Preferred Ford service department. Although the news we got was not good, Don Blackmer of the service department did an excellent job of explaining our problem and describing our alternatives. When we decided not to replace the transmission the Mr. Blackmer graciously allowed us to leave the vehicle with them until we could arrange to dispose of it. read more

I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. Don got me in quickly and at a time was that was perfect for my schedule. The work was completed in a timely manner. The car was due to have its air filter and cabin filter changed, which I elected to have Preferred do even though I can do that work myself. There was absolutely no pressure to have the dealership perform the service, which I appreciated. read more

I had an appointment for an oil change on our 2017 Explorer and for directions on how to turn off child lock. I arrived early. They were able to take the car right away. With in 10 minutes someone came in to get me to show me the key and how to unlock/lock the child lock and what to do if the battery dies on the fob. I was in and out with in an hour. Great service.
