The consult was quick and bout two weeks later (he sent an email explaining the delay in the mean time) he sent us a very detailed mock up of the landscape. Then he patiently answered about 30 back and forth emails as I asked questions and made revisions until we had a final plan. He had someone come out to clear the old landscape on 10/23/17 and then he finished all the work a week later on 11/1//17. This included redoing all the landscape in the front of our house, cleaning up and redoing our courtyard with stones and creeping fig and cleaning out the back yard and planting several fruit trees. During his time on our project Johnathan went above and beyond, was always accessible by phone and email and even continues to answer questions for me about plant care. Update to our review of May 4, 2024…read more All the good things I had to say after Greg had his guys redo the poor first attempt at resurfacing our driveway last year went right out the window this morning. I first attempted to contact Greg via email to schedule the agreed upon annual inspection on June 4, 2025. After hearing nothing for a couple of weeks, he finally responded with a proposal on July 13th which detailed the work to be done at a cost to us of $500. We accepted the proposal that same day. Greg cautioned that he would schedule our work along with other jobs he had in the area, so there could be a wait - which was no problem for us. After hearing nothing for several weeks however, I asked for an update on August 25. He responded on August 28th that he currently had no projects scheduled for the "Deltona or Daytona" areas but would advise when he did. On October 7 he asked if "the next 4-6 weeks" would work for us, to which I immediately said yes, and requested a couple of days advance notice so I could power wash the driveway. Then nothing again for 8 weeks, so I asked again via email on December 7 for an update. Nothing again, so I called and talked directly to Greg on December 17. He was obviously surprised and less than happy to hear from me and arranged to come over on Monday morning 12/22 @ 9:00am to discuss the matter further. He arrived at 8:11 and apparently agitated about something. He then proceeded to tell me immediately that he wanted nothing more to do with us - that we were far out of his normal operational territory and that he simply couldn't afford to support us any further. After some back and forth in which I was trying to figure out just exactly what "maintenance" would be required to keep the driveway looking good, he decided to terminate the meeting by addressing me as "Look Dude, this is going nowhere . . . . . . ." - to which I reminded him I was not "Dude" to him, but instead "Mr. Customer." At this, he departed. I guess he might have thought a bit more about our meeting after leaving because I received a text from him at 9:15am directing me to contact him sometime after the new year, around 1/15/2026 - and not by email (verifiable paper trail?). And for what purpose should I contact Him? To get strung along for another six months? For some more surly treatment? No thanks. Bottom line - these guys are capable of delivering some incredibly nice work; but are equally capable of delivering some incredibly shabby customer service.

I have had AdvanceScape take care of my lawn maintenance for almost 3 years and have never once been dissatisfied with how it looks. Their attention to detail is the best I've seen - If there is one weed growing in your landscaping they make sure to grab it. We are about to build a pool soon and asked Cory for a quote on capping off the irrigation in the back and removing 2 very large palms. When he came out he walked through numbers and because he has been in the business for awhile, shared the cost I would have by replacing all the sod in the back if I just capped (I'm sitting on almost one acre) compared to the upfront reroute cost. I love that he is always transparent and doesn't pressure you into one thing or the other...We decided to re-route my irrigation instead and so thankful I did as my yard continues to stay green and will only have a small area of sod to replace at the end. December 2024 - 6 month update…read more We have now had the new ProVista St. Augustine lawn for 6 month so I wanted to provide an update. As a part of the contractors work AdvanceScape to assess and modify the existing sprinkler system. Two additional irrigation zones were installed. As a result I am downgrading my 5 star rating to 2 stars based on the lawn condition presently and the amount of work I am now faced with doing to get it back to an acceptable standard. They did a good job with the landscaping aspect however they fell short on the irrigation part. The modifications made resulted in one rather large area receiving overlapping spray from different zones and has caused fungus at the grass root level. At the same time there are a couple of smaller areas that are not adequately covered and results in stressed grass. I cannot make adjustments to the run times because of the way the zones are laid out. As I have recently learned what should have been done was a better assessment of the spray patterns and the rotor nozzles swapped out to ensure a matched precipitation rate across all sprinklers for specific areas. Instead, all of the rotors were installed with the default 3 GPM nozzles regardless of the spray arch they were set at. While the AdvanceScape team did a great job in the other areas they we contracted to perform I can no longer recommend them to install irrigation systems. They simply did not do their due diligence when designing spray pattern coverage and they do not follow up to see how the work is holding up.
