Very disappointing experience. We made an appointment to get our Murano detailed. The appointment was scheduled for Tuesday however no one showed up. We called and Martinez said he was sorry something got confused but would come Wednesday between 2 and 4pm. 4pm came and went, no call, nothing. We called and he said he was still at a job and could he come later, we said yes. He and a partner showed up around 7pm...finishing in the dark around 9:30pm. We gave them some snacks and asked if they could come back to do our other car. At that moment we noticed with a phone light, that there were still a lot of bug debris on the front of our car. Martinez said he saw it too and would do a touch up when he cones back on Thursday to do the other car. Thursday was scheduled for Noon. Noon came and went, no call, no nothing. We called, twice. Finally an answer, again stuck at a job and would come but later around 5pm. 5 pm came and went, no call, no nothing. This time when we called, no answer. Left a message, no reply. That was 2 days ago. I do not know how this company could possibly stay in business. Literally 2 wasted days waiting them to show. We paid in full for a half done job...the windows are still dirty and smeared so hard to see. Had to clean with windex, not sure what they used but it was hard to clean. I hope someone from the main business office of Premier Auto Detailing will contact us. read more

For my birthday this year, I wanted to get myself a gift that I really needed and normally would not have purchased. I commute daily, so my car got a little run down over the years and needed more than just a wash or vacuum. I bought a Groupon deal for $129 that included a full detail inside and out with upholstery and carpet cleaning. I could have gone with the other for $89, but it was my birthday present and I deserved it. Made a reservation over the phone to get my detail on a Friday. I dropped my car off and went back to work and picked it up at the end of my day. I was completely please with the work that Eddie and his crew did, my car is so clean and the seats and carpets so clean. I have never had a car detailed before. I view my cars as urban assault vehicles, so I don't like to get too attached to their looks. Better to be sneered at by valets than incite your cousin who just got out of juvie to steal my wheels, or create ambivalence when the time comes for me to drive over a median to get a parking spot. But I was giving my hoopdie to my brother and thought that I should get all my girl smell and coffee film and tobacco lint out before handing it over. This guy was totally professional, very friendly, did a GREAT job and charged half what I had been quoted elsewhere. I rarely write reviews but I just can't stand by and not say anything about Premier. I got a Groupon for $125 and decided to give them a try. My car was purchased new in 1999 and due to neglect from my dad the car has NEVER been washed. Ever. The years of dirt that was building up was disgusting to a point where passengers didn't even want to put their arms on the arm rests. After arriving at Premier, Carlos was the nicest person ever. I dropped my car off and spent the whole day roaming around sf. I got a call from Carlos asking us if we could pick up the car an hour later because he wanted the seats to dry a little bit more. Little did I know Carlos actually kept the shop open an extra hour waiting for us to pick up the car. When I saw the car my jaw dropped to the floor. So many scratches were taken out the car looked soooo shiny I couldn't believe it was my car. The Interior was AMAZING. Years of grime and dirt were removed and everything feels so smooth and clean. I'm not a car guy in the sense that I love my car, obsess over it and baby it like it's the most important possession in my life. I do try to keep it clean, both inside and out. I take it to the occasional car wash where they vacuum, wash and Armor All the tires. I've thought about getting it detailed for a year or so and that's because it's lost a little of its luster. I don't have a fancy car, just a black on black VW GTI 1.8T. However, it was filthy, seriously, the engine bay was disgusting, the oil, the dirt, the grime from years of neglect was really showing. Every time I checked the oil I cringed. Open the trunk and all you could see was brown dirt covering almost every inch of the fabric. Yuck. How did it get so dirty you ask? Simple. Burning Man. I didn't have the energy nor the desire to clean up the interior myself so I decided to take it to a professional. I found Heriberto and Premier via Advanced Audi VW after inquiring about a detail shop. I looked around a number of places and received quotes that ranged from $450 on up for full exterior, interior and engine cleaning. Not worth it. I was surprised when I was quoted $245 for the whole she bang. I was doubtful at first but booked an appointment for Saturday morning. I dropped my car off and prayed for the best. I picked it up about 4 1/2 hours later and my jaw dropped. My car looked immaculate. The paint was shiny and sparkling. The finish on it was unbelievable. I caressed it like a woman's neck, slowly, savoring each and every inch. I ran my hand over the hood, and then over the front quarter panel, the rear quarter panel. It felt like glass, unblemished, pristine. Wow. The paint was silky smooth...damn...it felt good. I couldn't stop running my hands over the paint, it looked and felt amazing. So much so that you could see your face in it. I popped the hood of my car and shit my pants. I think the owner Heriberto knew because he cringed his nose in disgust as he walked by me. I looked at the engine cover, the wiring, the battery, the hoses, the cables, every part of the engine looked brand spanking new. Every nook and cranny was cleaned out. It looked like he took the engine apart, cleaned each component individually and reassembled it. I looked over at Heriberto, gave him a big smile and said, "Phenomenal job." Big props to Heriberto for doing such a great job. I'll definitely be back every now and then to keep it looking brand new. read more

The way that Premier Auto Detailing runs its business is ridiculous. I think that Premier oversold Bloomspot coupons bc it took multiple phone calls to book an appointment for three months out. When I dropped off my car last Saturday, they indicated they were closing at 4:30 today. I thought that was strange bc Yelp has their hours listed open until 6 on Saturday. I indicated that I would be in the East Bay in the afternoon and could make it back before 4:30. At 1:30, they called me to let me know my car was finished and that I need to pick up my car bc it was the only one left and they wanted to leave for the day. I let them know that I was in the East Bay and that they could have given me a heads up when I dropped the car off as I could have accommodated them. So, I felt bad that they had to sit around all day waiting for me to come back to pick up my car so I offered that they could park my car on the street in front of their shop and leave my keys with the doorman of my building a few blocks away. They agreed after I absolved them of all responsibility for my car being parked in a not so nice area for a couple of hours. I gave them explicit instructions on where to leave the keys multiple times. I even called my doorman to let them know what would be happening. So imagine my surprise when my doorman told me that no one had dropped off my keys. I tried calling the number many times but no one picked up. I grabbed my spare keys and walked over to the shop. My car was parked outside so I was able to drive it home. Fast forward to this morning. I get a call from Jamba Juice near where I live. The guy dropped off the keys there!!! WTF. At least have the common courtesy to call me when you deviate from a plan. This was the most irresponsible thing I've ever witnessed. They never returned any of my messages from the weekend asking where my keys were. This is beyond irresponsible. However, I need to give credit to the nice guy at Jamba Juice for accepting my keys and returning them to me. read more

I purchased a Groupon for Premier and got 50% off which translated to a total cost of $125. Before buying of course I checked Yelp and saw Premier had 4.5 stars so I figured I would give them shot. My car hasn't been detailed in a couple years so it was long overdue. When I went back to pick up my car about 3 hours later it was as if I was buying a NEW CAR! My car wasn't just shiny it seriously looked new. They even got out a couple of scratches that no other detail company could get out when I lived in LA. Carlos and his business partner were both incredibly friendly and even told me about another offer that will soon be available through Bloomspot. I am not sure if they overextended selling their service on groupon or what. My experience was rather abysmal and I don't say that lightly. First let me state I purchased the more expensive groupon which was supposed to be for a full clean and detail (retail $275). When I dropped off my car they were polite and courteous so I left feeling confident straying from my regular shop to save a few dollars. I picked up the car just as they were getting ready to leave and the car had been parked in a dim lite area. Foolishly I did not make them pull it into their work lights for an inspection. I was tired and headed home. That positive feeling left the following morning seeing their quality of work in the bright light of day. Not only was it clearly a very rushed job they actually did damage. This is what I found: - Failed to remove a majority of the microscratches on the car (its those superficial ones that look like spiderwebs under bright light). - White Polish left all around the gas cap, in crevices and in grills. - Did not clean the inside of the rims. At this price I would expect them to clean the entire rim that is visible. - White Polish in the car badges AND the third brake light (around it and in the lettering). They were going so fast and cared so little they did not even bother to tape it off, or at the least avoid it with the buffer! There is no excuse for this shoddy of work. You may wonder why I specifically called out the color of the polish. Its because the car is a black/blue color so anyone taking a reasonably close look at their own work would of seen it. - They were so sloppy with the buffer they burnt the StonGard film on the front of the car. Whoever had "polished" completely burnt it to matte instead of shiny which I had to replace. The buffer should of never been near it. I specifically told them the car had it when I dropped it off. Basically I am having to go back to my regular shop Auto Spa to correct Premier's mistakes. read more

Just recently purchased a used a car and it was somewhat grimy on the inside, and smelled of doggy, they did a great job a taking out all the dirt and doggy smell from the car making it look and smell extra clean. My carpets and upholstery look new. Basically my car looks new for a 99 Honda Civic I totally recommend Premier Auto Detail. Service was great, fast & responsive, appointment was easily booked. I dropped my car off on Saturday morning, i had read the bad reviews but i still proceeded to give them a shot. They gave me an appointment right away, there was no wait like the other reviews. There was forecast for rain this weekend so i was a bit reluctant in bringing it in but i brought the car in any way. Carlos was very nice and i expressed my concern, he said that they can usually keep the car until monday and i would be able to pick it up then. I get a phone call 4 to 5 hours later advising me my car is finished, but to my dismay it has begun raining by now. I asked him if i could pick it up on monday, he said there wasn't anymore room because they have booked all the slots for monday. After a few times asking him to please allow me to pick it up early monday morning as soon as they open, Carlos advised he wouldn't be able to hold it until monday because it just wasn't possible. Here is where i felt Carlos went out of his way, he stated he would be traveling to SF on sunday (tomorrow) and normally they are closed and i could pick up my car then. He called me on sunday, i went to pick up the car, mind you , its his day off, and i was pleasantly surprised at how spotless and shiny my car was. Premier Auto Detail is the best: like a day spa for your car!! Eddie made my 2006 BMW 650 convertible showroom new: cleaned the carpets, conditioned the leather, made the windows sparkle. Tires and trim now look like new. He expertly touched up some minor scratches and even made the engine clean enough to eat off of. Came there the other day because of an Amazon Local deal for $137. I was a little apprehensive to approach the driveway, as it looks like you're just headed into an empty parking structure. However, I took my chance and brought my car in here for it's first auto detail since I bought it from the dealership a couple years ago. I met with Eddie (the owner), and learned about the whole process of making my baby happy and shiny again. He finished my car sooner than I was expecting, however I was able to sneak away to pick it up early. OMG, my car came back just about brand spanking new shiny/sparkly. I purchased a groupon earlier this year that I used for this appointment. When I called for an appointment, they were booked out for 2+ months (even on weekdays). They promised to honor the groupon for the date I scheduled and took my name down in case someone cancelled. I did receive a call when there was a cancellation and happily brought my Mini Cooper in on a Saturday. When I picked up my car 4 hours later, it was very clean and shiney inside and out. I have found that car wash/details for a Mini Cooper (which has many nooks and crannies) are usually disappointing but I was pleasantly surprised. I'd take my car back. read more

I'm terrible about taking care of my car. Plus being a girl (and I hate to stereotype my gender), I don't know a whole lot about taking care of my car. The Groupon was one of the pricier groupons I've ever bought, but it was a great deal-- I never knew detailing a car was that expensive. However, my friend who is in the know said that it is worth it to get the leather interior treated at least once/year. Oops, it's been about 3 years since I bought the car. Sorry car. I'm definitely one of those people who wait forever to redeem my groupons. I'd had a terrible experience with Pacifica Archery who refused to honor my groupon after the date on the groupon when they claimed they were solidly booked for the 2 weeks leading up to the expiry date. I was worried that Premier Auto would do the same thing, but they were totally fine with honoring my groupon after the expiry date when I booked my appointment. I ended up dropping my car off on the Friday of Outside Lands. I asked them if they'd be okay with me leaving the car overnight, and again, they were extremely accommodating. The car ended up being ready early, so I was confused when they called me the same day in the afternoon to tell me my car was ready. I suppose they forgot that I had said I would pick it up the next morning. It wasn't a problem at all though. I confirmed again that I could leave the car overnight, and they said that was okay. The process of dropping off the car was very quick with minimal paperwork. It took probably 10 minutes. FYI, Howard Street is a one way street, so go down to 5th and drive up to 6th and the place is on your left, closer to 6th. I hate driving downtown... Picked up my car the next morning. The exterior was shinier than it had been when I bought it. Granted, I bought it secondhand, but at a dealership, so they had it polished up and prettied then too. My tires and rims were super shiny too. The interior looked pretty great too. Not immaculate, but cleaner than it'd been for a while. I don't really have any other experience to compare it to, but I was pleased enough with the service to follow the Groupon request to tip based on the original value. This place goes by appt only I brought in my mother's 1999 Toyota Avalon for its first ever detail since purchasing the car 17 years ago! I dropped off the car on a Friday morning and when I picked it up, it looked brand new. The exterior body was claybar waxed and felt and looked brand new. I haven't written a review in quite a while but today was quite impressed at the work done by Premier detail. So I was searching on Groupon for a good deal on detailing and that's how I found Premier Detail. I first called and offered to pay him the Groupon price directly (no middle man!), and he gladly accepted (though requested cash), and for a total of $150 (including good tip), I got the best inside and outside detail my 2009 Honda has ever had. When I picked up the car, it was shiny, and being a bit OCM, I looked it over, and he had just missed a minor spot to vacuum inside (the back side of the read seats that fold down had some dirt from a planter I bought from a friend). He gladly vacuumed that small part out. I highly recommend this place and once my car needs another detail, no doubt I'll be back to Premier Auto Detail! read more

We took our car in for it's 100,000 mile birthday this week. It's the second time we've had her detailed and while the shock and awe isn't as grand the second time, it doesn't make it any less awesome. Premier Auto Detail brought our car back to brand new status and everything looks great! I was able to get an appointment within a couple weeks (weekdays only). I brought in the car at 8AM and it was done by noon. Definitely recommend this place for a nice detail! read more

Honestly I was trying not to be skeptical after reading many negative reviews. However I received a groupon as a present and made an appt. I brought my car in, received very friendly service from the owner who asked when I would like to pick-up my car. Fast forward to later in the day, I received a call when my car was ready and went to pick it up. Seriously my car has not looked like this since I first BOUGHT it. I am NOT kidding. My car looks beautiful. The attention to detail is impeccable - I am seriously blown away. I can see my face in my hubcaps, and the groves in my leather steering wheel are completely clean and everything is actually sparkling. I bought a bloomspot coupon for these guys because I'm trying to sell my car, and after a year of living in San Francisco it has basically turned into a sorry scruffed up mess from all this bumper kissing bullshit. Plus I'm one of those people who run late for everything so I eat breakfast in my car which adds to another level of disgusting. I made an appointment a few weeks ago, showed up, and no one was there to assist me. I called them up and the guy who answered was apologetic. I was really annoyed because I had sorted out my morning to get my car to this place, but I rescheduled anyway because my car was in dire need of some TLC. Well, all I have to say is, WOWZA. My car looks so brand spanking sparkly I can't even believe it. All my annoyance melted away at seeing how awesome my car looked. I would say that 95% of every bumper scuff was gone. The inside was flippin immaculate. And Carlos is the nicest guy EVER. I have a small crush on him. But seriously, if I ever need my car cleaned again it's going there. I've never taken any of my cars in for detailing, but finally gave it a try. These guys took us in right away, and finished up in one day. I picked my car up the next morning and it looked great. Bear in mind my car was in pretty grungy condition having sat for over a year outside. Now, the car looks the best it has in years and ready to sell. I am picky, detailed oriented mofo and I have to say these guys did a really great job. There location was inside a lower part of a parking structure but actually fit my tallish lifted 4x4 with a roof rack, so that was a plus. They did go really heavy on the ArmorAll, so I did have to do a wipe down when I got home to soak up some of the excess. Other than that, all the small scratches were gone, the dog hair in the rear cargo area was removed exceptionally well, the entire body was clay barred, and they even cleaned the engine, wow... Great value, great job, but ca$h only peeps, so remember that when going to pick up your fabu looking, freshly detailed, road sled. read more

Our car was dirty... really dirty. It was coated in a thick layer of cheerios, juice, dirt, and gack. But no more; now it is clean, clean, clean! The Carpet and seats are noticeably cleaner then before I brought it in. But as I drove away... I don't know what cleaner they use for the wood grain but it was not clear.. It had a lot of smudges and seems to look like how a window would look after rain drying up on it. That part wasn't going back for I just figured I'll clean it myself. Also I'm looking at the car and I tell him thanks good job while getting in my car to leave only for him to hint for tips telling me how he did extra work which he repeated at least 3x Lastly I was almost home to realize the leather in the steering wheel is worn. Worn which looks like it was dirty and they rubbed it too hard to where the leather had rubbed off to another layer. So I called and told him about it... And you replied on the phone telling me "well you paid with groupon and now your complaining" something to that nature. I got heated from that comment and he tried to backtrack and become more cordial and "nice" ... By that time I was livid and went to the garage. He looked at the steering wheel and of course he said "we didn't touch your steering wheel because it was already like that" I didn't even respond I got in my car and just left figuring of course he won't own up to fault. I have a 2008 CL63 AMG $150k car ... my seats, carpet, center console etc all looks "like new" while the steering wheel looks like a 90s leather steering wheel should look! Horrible! Don't get me wrong my steering wheel was not brand new and of course had some hand stains from overtime. And I know for a fact they tried to clean it rubbed it way too hard and possibly too long... And in that dark garage the lighting is horrible for someone to have a detail shop and can barely even see DETAILS you should think twice. I park my car on a busy (dirty, dusty) street each day and every time I've had my car detailed by premier I am amazed that it could even get that clean. Also they are friendly and easy to work with. They (1) closed early, holding my car hostage for the entire weekend and (2) did a poor job. Basically, I am never again buying any form of groupon for a service. Restaurants and stuff like that, fantastic, but anything where you have to make an appointment or they can alter the level of service because they know you're using a groupon, no more. I spent $125 on a Bloomspot deal for a supposedly $275 detail. First problem was scheduling -- they initially weren't returning phone calls and then when I finally got a hold of them they said they couldn't fit me in for like 6 weeks, until after the deal expired, and so they didn't want to honor the deal (even though I was calling over a month before it expired). They ultimately did agree to honor it, and I scheduled a time for 6-7 weeks in the future. The chosen day finally rolls around, and I bring my car in at 9:30 a.m. on a Saturday. They said it would be 5-6 hours. No problem. 6 hours pass and I start to get a bit nervous, so I call them (this is around 3 pm). No answer. I keep calling -- maybe they're busy with the cars? I leave a message with my phone #, no reply. Yelp says they close at 6 so when I still haven't heard from them by 5 I cab it over. They are completely closed down. Better yet, they're closed on Sunday. Since buying the groupon, I took a job in SJ and moved out of the city, so now I'm stuck without a car, without my overnight bag I had brought to crash at my friend's, without my ID badge for work, without a way to get home. I end up taking Muni to Caltrain then walking home, a 2.5 hour trip. Then my friend who lives in the city and works in Sunnyvale very graciously agreed to pick up my car on Tuesday and drive it down, and then I drove her back up to the city. When Premier finally opened again on Monday and returned my call, they say they had finished and tried to call me at 11 a.m. on Saturday and I didn't answer. A couple problems -- (1) if they were finished at 11, even if they dropped everything they were doing to the four other cars that were there the minute I walked out the door (unlikely) that's still at most a 90 minute detail, the Bloomspot deal was for a complete 2-4 hour detail and (2) they say I left the wrong phone # but they had called me before regarding the scheduling and called me on Monday so they definitely had my phone number. They also said they were open until 4-4:30 pm that day but couldn't explain why no one answered the phone or responded to my message (again with my correct phone #) left at 3 p.m. And finally the service -- I just bought my car so it was already basically clean, and it looks like they just washed it and vacuumed the floor mats. They didn't even vacuum the trunk, let alone shampoo it or try to get out a spot in the carpet. They didn't even wipe down the steering wheel with a cloth (it was still covered in dust and dirt), let alone put any kind of protective Armor-All or Lexol-type stuff on it. They didn't appear to treat the leather at all. There were crumbs in between the dash and the wood trim, so it looks like they didn't even wipe down or clean the interior at all. There were water spots on the headlights, etc. Little stuff, but it basically shows they did a crappy, rushed job. I'm guessing the guys didn't feel like being there on Saturday and went home early. That's fine, I've done my share of boring service jobs and I can relate, but really disappointing for what I paid and for having to deal with the hassle of not having my car for 4 days. read more

So I don't usually write reviews. I like yelp just to read the reviews but in this case I must give this place 1 star. If I could leave no stars I would.BEWARE! I am from New York and on the east coast it is tradition to leave money under the mats from family and friends as a good luck token. With this being half my fault I had about 28 dollars in fives and two dollar bills under the mats. The night before I reminded myself to take the money out but forgot. So I brought the car in early morning and halfway through my day, I realized that the money was still there and figured it'll be fine. I got back to my car and it looked great. But the money was gone. I asked and they played dumb like they didnt find anything. Also I had my little cousins favorite minion stuffed toy from despicable me in the glove box and it was gone as well. surprised by all the bad reviews. got the bloomspot deal for the upgraded car detail and they did a fantastic job. my car looks like the day i pulled it off the lot. i dropped it off at 8am and picked it up at 430pm the same day. only two minor gripes - scheduled this 2-3 months out - there were some wipe marks in the interior still, i'm happy. i'd recommend them again. as long as you are not in a rush for a wash. read more

I took it in to Heriberto and he hooked it UP! 2 hours later, the interior of my car was IMMACULATE, and he washed the outside! Supershiny and perfecto! Got Groupon and was able to schedule appointment after 10th time called the place and i was informed that appointment for Groupon customer was 3 weeks out. I called back in 2 weeks to confirm my appointment and was informed that I never made any appointments but he still accommodated my appointment after having 20min long conversation to remind my call to him and he told me he found my appointment on the corner of his binder (CRAZYYYYYY!) So when I left my 2009 BMW M5 he started up selling detail options but its stating Full detail package (he is scamming people). When i picked up the car i was in shock that the didn't clean the car. I wish i can give give hime 0 stars. My car was dirty and not clean. He just washed and wax the cars for $129. BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD Place be carful! read more

Unfortunatly I have no idea what their detailing is like. Bought the more expensive Bloomspot in July and was stoked because it was close to my house. When I called in August to make an appt they said "oh sorry we are so busy trying to detail all the cars from the prior bloomspots that are expiring this month... how about NOVEMBER???!!!" Seriously? Then the person said they would put me on a list and would call if someone cancelled. They never called. Tried to get my money back from Bloomspot but they only would give me a credit. The only thing I've ever wanted or needed on Bloomspot was this deal. Great now I have a 100+ dollar credit... Lame. read more
