I have had my beloved Subaru for 4 years and am admittedly rather lazy about keeping it clean and washed- mainly because I use it as intended. We go off road, take the dogs, load in muddy hiking gear, wet ski gear, plants from the nursery, etc. I decided to give the Subi some love and took her to Hayes for full detail. I cannot get over how nice my car looks- just like the day I drove her home from the dealership. I chose the Silver Detail which did both interior and exterior detail. I did have to leave my car overnight due to how busy they are but it was well worth the time - Every single hair from two golden retrievers was gone, all the spilled coffee in the center console erased, mud, gravel, leaves and all traces of the great outdoors are no longer being carried around with me. If you were to, hypothetically, make a really stupid mistake and scratch-up your essentially brand new car with a magic eraser... you should immediately call Hayes. Because, if you did make a silly mistake like that, they wouldn't make you feel judged, they'd get your car into the shop immediately, they'd drive you and your baby home so you didn't have to stress, and they'd give you back a brand new looking car a couple days later. Would it be expensive? Sure. But that's on you for using a magic eraser to get sap off your car. Yes, take it to Hayes Detail (also body work and paint). Three claims in one unfortunate month my car was vandalized while parked, side-struck while parked, and rear-ended by a drunk waiting for a light to change. I had to gather estimates on a rainy day. I dropped into Hayes Detail and met Adam who was by far the most thorough at assessing the damage. I noticed that the shop is bright and clean from the floor right up to the ceiling-this is the best way to keep a workspace but it costs money and it comes right out of your margin. "I think of it as a doctor's office," Adam told me. I knew then that I would not be able to find a better chance at restoring my precious-to-me car to its original, accident-free magnificence. I was taking a chance after all-I haven't had to do this for more than 20 years. Wherever I would take it would be a gamble. Every place has a range of reviews. The insurers were pushing me toward their partner shops where they pay heavily discounted hourly wages to massive corporate operators who may or may not always take care to get the job right but allow for a certain percentage of oversights, errors, unhappy (picky) customers. The work is a restoration craft that, when successful, requires a human to be pleased with their the product of their labor. If you have painted a wall, you have taken a moment to admire even your amateur outcome. I'd rather bet on a craftsman than an employee. I wanted some accountablity, just in case. The insurer guarantees the work, but insurance companies are not in the business of pleasing claimants as much as they are in the business of closing claims. Based on a few guesses I gave better odds to a small, local, experienced shop. Hayes was all of that. Hayes is local, family owned and operated with generations of experience in talking pride in their work. A good bet. And it payed off. They got it done (all three claims at once). Beautifully. The first time. And, they handled the insurance companies well. You can't ask for more than that...but you may get more than that. Hayes restored my car from dents, a brutal full-length "keying," a minor rear-end collision, and a side-collision that required a wheel restoration. I took a while. Paint dries slowly under more rain than sunshine and we had 100% humidity most of the time. I figured I would spend a day cleaning it up but before I picked it up, Hayes Detail threw in complete exterior and interior detail. I called about having the scratches removed from my 2021 lexus es300h. I got a call back pretty quick and was able to bring it in that day and get an estimate. The car had scratches all over the place, I had used a sponge to try and get tree sap off. I didn't realize until the next day when the sun was up, that I went from sap all over to scratches all over. Steve is the one who looked at the car and told me the method he would use. He sounded very knowledgeable and was friendly. I agreed on the cost and they started working on the car that day. I picked up the car a couple days later and was totally surprised and very impressed. I had bought the car new and told Steve the car didn't even look as good as it does now. I brought my car in to get the sunroof drain cleaned out, since water was coming into the cabin. I noticed that water was still coming in even after they cleared out the drain. I gave them a ring, and Adam went above and beyond to figure out why the water was still coming in after cleaning. It turns out the tubing was burned from previous work I had done after a car accident. He even helped me with a temporary fix, and was very patient in explaining the issue and answering all of my questions. I also got the silver detail package and my car looks brand new! Adam is a master down to the finest detail ...and in my case down to the last caked on muddy bolt from an undercarriage that looked like it had been bonsaied into a mud pit and left to dry. I poured my savings into a 2024 Subaru Outback and a day after purchase started hearing lots of rattling noise. I learned it was from the rocky muddy mess breaking up in the skid plates and everywhere else. Within the first 10 days of ownership I took it twice to another mechanic and once back to the dealer to be inspected/cleaned/fixed ...the issue continued. Long story short I found Hayes Detail. Adam spent 3 days washing and steam cleaning every inch of my undercarriage. He also helped me navigate going to talk with the dealership and trying to get them to help with at least a portion of fixing what they neglected to fix prior to purchase. I reached out to Hayes Detail after finding out I had standing water under my carpets from clogged sunroof drains. Adam suggested I bring my car in so he could take a look before providing an estimate. Adam spent a lot of time explaining the whole process, pulling back the carpets so I could see the water myself and even showing me a car that was in process for the same cleaning. After meeting with him, I was very impressed with his communication, attention to detail, and how meticulous the entire shop was. During the process I received photo updates and when the car was ready, he showed me a video of the removal of the interior. He was also very understanding that I would be paying for the service out of pocket rather than insurance and was able to keep the total cost lower than the estimate. He also had my headlights cleaned while my car was there. I am so impressed with the quality of service, attention to detail and of course, my car is now immaculate and no longer reeks of mold and mildew! Overpriced for the work done. I spent 300 and there's marks and stains all over the car still. When I asked him about it , he said it was a stain. I had to remove marks myself. Very very disappointing. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. Glove compartment was not even touched. And the car didn't even smell good. I love going to local businesses/family owned. WHY I WENT HERE: - ended up going with Hayes Detail because of the engaging responsiveness from Adam, and because of the comprehensiveness of the interior detailing, as well as the price quoted ($200) THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located off 35th St and Stockton Blvd just behind (if you're exiting off 50W) "Stewart's Automotive" - not a lot of parking as it is a warehouse off a main road, so definitely meant for short-term drop-off and quick pick-up THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - the warehouse/shop portion of the establishment has the typical roll-up doors with the attached lobby for check-out - it seemed that cars ready to go were on the left hand side and that cars in progress of having their detail were on the right hand side of the warehouse - NOTE: there was definitely a mix of masked vs. unmasked workers here, but the doors being rolled up made it very indoor/outdoor and the workers themselves seemed to be 6+ feet away from one another CUSTOMER SERVICE: - I appreciate businesses like this one that have enabled the "Request an Appointment" option on their Yelp page because it makes it extremely easy to ask for quotes, make an appointment, etc. directly with the business when you may not have the time or ability to make phone calls for whatever reason - my initial interaction via Yelp messaging was with Adam to book my appointment; clear, concise, super easy to do so - I was informed by Adam that a full interior detail for my size vehicle would cost right around $200, and would include: shampooing + conditioning the seats, carpet floor mats, dash doors, center console, trunk area, cleaning/washing of my plastic mats over my carpet floor mats, as well as an exterior wash - my appointment was made and I was instructed to clean out the car as best as I can (removing any and all personal affects, etc.) prior to drop off - I was greeted warmly by Adam during the drop off, filled out a clipboard of contact information, and was told my car would be ready by "end of day" - per Yelp, Hayes Detail was going to close for the day at 5:00PM, so when it was 4:50PM and I didn't receive a phone call, I took the liberty of calling them to check on my vehicle, was told it was ready, then I came in to pick it up - upon picking up my vehicle, I realized they were still working on cleaning other vehicles so maybe "end of day" for me to receive the call that my car was ready was possibly later than the close time indicated online but I just never gave them a chance to do so in their own time - upon pick-up check out was super simple and the invoice was itemized; ended up paying the estimated $200 (although I was prepared for it to be a little higher), so it was a pleasant surprise that it wasn't more than that - the car looks and smells great! definitely would recommend anyone take their car in to Hayes for their detailing needs read more

Took my car in for the mini-detail. It was nice except they didn't do the glove compartment and center console despite me reminding them to do so as I gave them the keys. Emailed owner and he merely responded "we'll do it next time." Tried to get pricing on the various upgrade packages but was told to bring my car in to get estimates. Brought my car in but the representatives could not give me estimates. Now they are saying bring the car back in for estimates. The pipes in my parking garage leaked some weird rust water on my car that would not come out. I tried a product that removed the rust but because I applied too much pressure left scratches that I could not get out. Thankfully a mechanic recommended I contacted this amazing family business with great customer service. The next day dropped my car off and 24 hrs later the scratches were gone at a reasonable price.
