If I could give more stars I would. I routinely take my elderly car in for service and always am pleased with the work, price and the staff. Today I had an emergent issue. When I called I was told to come right over. The problem was identified and repaired so efficiently and at a very reasonable price. I am a single lady and it gives me so much comfort to know this business is helping me. Its important to find folks you can trust. So in my opinion, Premier Auto Care is top notch. Let me just start off by mentioning this place was originally so convenient, friendly and understandable. Being so close to my home made going here just a bonus at that point. But after two recent visits; I could not recommend this place even if I was bribed. Even giving them a One-Star is generous. This Monday (November 13th) I arranged an appointment on the phone for a simple A5 Service on my car for the following Tuesday (November 14th) at 11:30 AM. Just an oil change and other checkups. Nothing too strenuous I believe. So I got there on Tuesday at 11:25 AM, and the three employees were there were on the phone. Until one of them finally spoke up and said, "We'll be with you one minute sir." I agreed and sat down and waited. Finally the employee with the name, "Carlos" printed on his shirt was available at 11:33 AM; and asked what he could help me with. Told him I have an appointment for my A5 service; and he then asked me what time? So I told him 11:30 AM. Now you might realize how I knew what time the first employee was available earlier in this paragraph. Well, it's because Carlos said, "I'm sorry sir, you are late for your appointment. And we don't excuse tardiness. We have an opening for Thursday if you'd like?" That is insane, and I told him he saw me enter earlier and he was on the phone, but it seemed the only thing that could come out of his mouth was, "I'm sorry, sir. Try again another day." When I looked at the other employees, baffled by this claim, all they could do was shrug. When I just gave up at that point and was leaving the store, last thing I heard from Carlos was, "Make sure to come in early so you won't need to reschedule." Ridiculous. Carlos is the rudest and most unprofessional person that I have ever met! I got a flat tire and called this company to see if they have a tire in stock prior to having my vehicle towed to this location. When I first called he answered "Hello" with music blasting in the background. I thought I called the wrong number since it did not seem like a business by the way he answered. I asked if it was an auto shop and if they had my vehicle's tire in stock. He asked what size tire I needed and then acted like I was crazy when I told him that I had no idea. (Every time I have ever taken my vehicle for new tires they always seem to know what size I need and replace without any issue.) When I told him that I was not sure and that other places only ask for year/make/model, his response was "Great, take it to them!" and then he hung up on me. I do not feel that I said anything out of the ordinary for him to respond and react the way that he did. I doubt everyone knows every single detail about their vehicles. And I doubt that I am the only one that is unsure of the tire size etc. Regardless, customer service is crucial when running a business and if you treat every unsure customer this way then you're in the wrong business! Today, I booked an online reservation for an LOF and tire rotation. Did not take 10 mins. And I received a call from this place telling me 2 weeks out for an oil change on the 31st of this month. WHAT? I owned a shop before retiring here for 20 years and unless a shop does not want to be bothered with such a minor request for service no repair facility would tell a customer 2 weeks for a half hour job!!!! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE I would have thought that if this organization had so many positive reviews, they would appreciate a chance to correct a situation gone terribly wrong. They seem to have this great polite dialog to address issues with their customers this is far from what happened to me. I dropped the car off and then spoke to them on the phone about the brake job. They told me that the front and rear brake pads were low and are candidates to be replaced. When I was given the price of $1100 for a 2008 Hyundai Sonata, I was shocked, to say the least. They told me when I asked if the brake rotors could be resurfaced which has been the case for at least 40 years that I know of they told me "it is not done in their shop". I reluctantly agreed to let them do the front although it was a much larger amount than I was expecting to spend. When I asked my dealer about this while discussing another vehicle with them they said that they of course resurface and the front or back would be $350! I always would have assumed a dealer to be more expensive I won't make that assumption again. The resurfacing was still normal practice. You should know this shop has no consideration at all for what it costs you for the repair, all they care about is extracting as much money from you as possible! I tried to bring this to their attention after I spoke to the dealership but when I called to give them the benefit of the doubt over my concern, they just tried to tell me I didn't know what I was talking about regarding my brakes that I had done years past. It is not great to insult someone that way and not a good business model. Sorry I will never go back there again. You should think twice before they take advantage of you as well. read more

Every time I have brought my cars into Premier I leave happy!!! Everyone here is so professional and happy plus I've NEVER had the issue of being up sold (which I HATE) which is unheard of at any auto shop. I even put them to the test the first few times when I brought them our cars. I worked in the auto industry for over a decade so I know a little something about what we are talking about. So I ran a diagnostic on both car's before bringing them in before an oil change, I don't trust people for good reason so I need to know before I hand my cars over for big ticket work. Well they past the test with flying colors! They did make a few recommendations about windshield wipers and a air filter but that was it. The pricing was not bad about the same as most other shops. They do offer Military discounts Very Nice and they also have a shuttle service for local customers. So I highly recommend these guys to work on your cars whatever make/model you have. read more

Never dissatisfied with the work on my cars. Customer service is terrible. When my shift cable broke on my car they told me it would cost 160 dollars for a diagnosis. I said they could tell it was broke by moving it back and forth. I had paid to tow it there and said I wasn't happy with paying the 160 dollars. So customer service said forget it they didn't want to fix. With the towing there and back I had to get the manager to agree to fix it. Still cost the 160. Total to replace was over 700 dollars. They do excellent work but I was treated like crap to get them to repair. What happened to the customer is always right. read more

It is the worst place I have ever been in my life. I paid for an oil change and a diagnosis of the air conditioning that worked well but I wanted to add a cooler. It turns out that coming out of the dealer the air didn't work anymore just hot air and with a sound as if it was perforated. We took our 1998 Chevrolet Blazer to this repair shop because it quit running on us Friday morning. The vehicle is only used to pull a small trailer. We had a tow truck come pick it up and take it to their facility. Monday morning, Chad called saying they couldn't find any issues with the truck but he mentioned some other issues he supposedly found with it. They told us the Blazer was overheating which is not the case. There is a leak in the water pump which we have a replacement for to fix it and it has never caused that issue in the past. Then, he said they have to look further into it and I told them to replace the water pump with the new one I had provided them when the truck was taken there and Chad told me that is not their policy due to warranty issues which I responded that I did not mind if it voided a warranty just to replace it. In regards to the original issue I took the vehicle in for, I informed Chad you need to let the truck run for twenty minutes before it will act up. He told me they then found other problems with the front alignment, replace the fuel filter even though it was new, and the brakes were sticking which did not make sense because I had all those replaced and proof with receipts. They are telling me all these supposed problems with the truck even though they could not fix the original issue yet. They replaced the heater hoses because it was said the hoses were leaking causing the issue when in actuality it seems it was the crankshaft sensor. They are more concerned with making extra money while the vehicle is there instead of working with the customer to fix the issue(s) it is dropped off for. When I took the truck in, the check engine light came on and to clear the warning due to old codes coming up I was told I needed to pay an additional $165 after the initial diagnostic test for them to hook up the computer again after they were the ones to look at everything. All in all, while the vehicle is there they try to make money off you it's funny how they have such good reviews. It was 5 o'clock when I picked up my truck and Chad was not there so I had to speak to someone in the front. When I asked if I could look at the vehicle to make sure it started fine, the guy did not want to be bothered basically because he was not the one who was ripping me off. They just wanted me to pay the bill and that was it. I am a bit knowledgeable with cars and unfortunately I did not have the time to mess with the truck and now I am $900 short with the check engine light still on being told that they are old codes that came up. I do not recommend anybody that has no knowledge/experience with vehicles to drop their car here because you will come out with services/repairs you don't really need. It looks like the employees work off commission and are more concerned about their ratings than anything else. read more

Ok I am Costco member and used their referral service because my auto mechanic was booked up, Costco offers a 15% discount to it's members for service performed through one of their preferred service provide, this honestly is the first time I have taken the time to write a review about anything in my life! And I hope Costco reads this because I am so disappointed in a company I use to respect and probably should get out of the referral business. So I dropped my car off overnight and wrote down what was wrong, it needs a headlight and brakes! I got a call saying there will be a $118.00 diagnostic fee, I then said will you apply the $118 to the bill if I got through with the service they said no because the diagnosis was complicated! I said just do it, they called back and said you need a headlight and brakes, yeah that's pretty what I told them! $718! rear brakes and rotors plus headlight! I said ok please apply my 15% discount? sure we can! 2hrs later they called me back to say there was a computer glitch and they quoted me the price for one rotator! Can't make this shit up not even a we're sorry so your price will be slightly higher but not to worry we will apply your 15% discount and you new cost are $728. Do the math 15% $728 is $108. How are they still in business? I haven't picked up my vehicle yet and I am writing this review! I hope the breaks work. read more

I have been using Premier Auto since my family moved to Cape Coral, FL and they have always done a good job. Recently i had my 2006 Dodge truck repaired at the tune of $ 1100.00 that night i realized that i did not use my 10% off coupon so the next morning I called Gene and asked if i could still use the coupon and he stated that the invoice was closed out and there was nothing he could do. Well I told Gene that i didn't think that was fair and to top it off he didn't even offer me a free oil change or anything to make things right. I will never use them again be aware that this is the way they treat a good customer then they dont deserve our business ever again. read more

Had to bring it back for them to tell me parts would be over $500 then the cost of replacing the parts was outrageous. I went to Premier for convenience as we are within 2 miles of the shop. I had an oil leak in my honda ridgeline truck and Premier diagnosed it as a rear main oil seal. I allowed the service to be performed at a price of over $1400 parts and labor. The seal itself is about $30 . The first attempt didnt work because the seal failed ?? The second attempt worked until I found oil on the garage floor. I waited 2 weeks and drove the vehicle hoping it would seal after running it under normal conditions. That didnt work so I took it back and was told what I saw was transmission fluid and to pull the transmission and fix the leak(s) on it would be $1159 more dollars . It does have an oil leak which is not bad but still a leak and the transmission leaks some and did not before !! I will not have the transmission leak fixed unless it becomes much worse. I am very disappointed that my truck still leaks oil and now transmission fluid. Not a good experience considering the labor cost I was charged !! Jack Thompson read more

We brought our (new to us) Van in because of a flat tire. Since the previous owner had cheap 215 Fuzion front tires and 225 were recommended, we asked them to replace them with 225s. And because we needed to go on a road trip, we had it inspected with oil change etc. They said they noticed a leak that would cause the engine to overheat and recommended replacement of several parts. Our estimate quickly went from $300 to $600 for something we weren't sure we really needed but felt we had to do since we were leaving town. A good week later we noticed one of the rear tires loosing air. Thats when we noticed that the rear tires were the cheap 215 Fuzion they were supposed to replace. So they removed our good Michelin 225 Tires on the rear and replaced them with the old ones from the front. Nothing was ever mentioned to us regarding removing the Michelin tires and we told Chad before we left the car with them that ALL tires needed to be 225s. Not only did they not admit to doing anything wrong, they also didn't offer anything toward making it right. They did offer to put the old tires on. However, after they had been sitting there for over a week, we do not know what happened or what they could have done to them. We lost complete confidence and trust in them. We will never leave our cars with them again. Oh and on top of it all, the board computer now says that we need to do an oil change (Which they said they did). Did They? read more

We took our Ford Ranger P/U in for a noisy ride. My husband & a service person took the truck for a ride. He determined that part of the problem, in addition to needing tires, was front wheel bearings. He took my husband back to the service bay to look at the way the tires were cupping. They drove my husband home, since I wasn't available to pick him up. Later, the service man called and told my husband that he needed a part to correct the cupping or it would wear the tires on the inside too much, and it would cost about $100 more. We told him to go ahead and fix it, and call us. An hour later, we received a call from his supervisor who reviewed the problem with him. They determined that they didn't need the extra part...saving us the extra money! My husband was overjoyed by the quiet ride on his way home. When you are new to the area, and don't have any references as to how a place will treat you, it's hard to find a new service provider. Got my oil changed and serviced the only thing I had a problem with is they told me that I needed my serpentine belt changed and all my fluids changed. I asked how did you determine that. they said it was because of the mileage on the vehicle my question was did you test it someway or take a sample. I then got that dear in the headlight look. I lost my trust in this place last year. On more than one occasion, I felt I was being over charged and quoted some ridiculous prices for work ex. Over 700.00 for my sons alternator, which luckily had someone else do it ,saving hundreds of dollars. I lost my faith in these guys and will not return. ....upon seeing this response,I can only say what would you need to look into? Worst auto shop ever!! I purchased 4 new Cooper 80,000 mile tires from them 5 months ago. I noticed that there was a bubble in the sidewall of one of them. I called them as soon as they opened to let them know the tire was bad and that I would be by there late afternoon to have it replaced. I get there after work, and the lady in the front, who is supposedly the manager, came outside to look at the tire and said I damaged it. I told her there is no way I did that, I hadn't hit anything or drove my car crazy. She told me that it would cost me around $142 to replace the tire (mind you, they are only 5 months old) and that they would be able to fix the following day. I had called that morning to make the appointment to come in later that day, and they didn't have my tire. I told her there was no way I was driving my vehicle that way, risking a blowout! I took the car to Firestone, who told me that I DID NOT damage the tire, that it had been indeed defective and they should have replaced it! Premier Auto did not want to honor my warranty and I had to spend more money on a new tire! They are a rip off! I spent close to 700 on 4 new tires and they don't want to honor a warranty on a defective tire, plus they were rude to me! BEWARE of them! read more

So, the first time I brought in my car, my TPMS light was on. In addition, I had just driven a great distance to Florida and needed to make sure I take care of my vehicle. I had never been to this area before and this place is close, the reviews seemed decent on the company's website so I decided to give them a chance. Bad idea. They charged me a lot of money to repair it and the fucking light came back on probably indicating that it's not fixed. I should have complained, I decided not to and instead decided I was not going to return there. Foolishly, since I couldn't get in anywhere else sooner, I decided that a headlight instillation and an oil change was pretty basic and went ahead and called this place and made an appointment. I have since had to go back again because my car was leaking oil. I went in and they replaced a gasket and I was assured that it should have solved the problem. It didn't. I called to tell them and got nothing but attitude. When you can get something as basic as an oil change correct, clearly the people there don't know what the hell they are doing. Now, I have to find someone who does know what they are doing so that my can doesn't continue to leak oil. read more

Turns out I didn't need the patch as it was only the head of the screw wedged between the tire grooves. They could have charged me for a patch, but didn't. We will definitely be back. read more

Took my wife's car in for an ac check. Got a call that the two actuators needed to be replaced....the dashboard would need to be removed....$1200 to fix. I looked up how to fix it online, bought the actuator for $28' removed the glove box and replaced the part in less than an hour. That day I had the ac recharged at Firestone. Car was repaired for far less than the quote of $1200. Won't ever go back! Ripping people off! I had also previously was told my truck needed a new oil pan! $900!to repair. Went to Firestone where the manager Rick was able to replace the screw and full oil change for $52.....Once again saved myself a lot of money going elsewhere! read more

I would have gladly given these folks a 4 star rating, except when I got the bill they charged me $5something for shop materials for an alignment. Now anybody who knows anything about an alignment knows it only takes a wrench and a skilled hand to line the points up with a laser. There are NO shop materials expended. When I called them on it, they stumbled and finally said it was for paper and ink. Really? This is the kind of dishonesty that really pisses people off. I can't speak highly enough about the wonderful people at Premiere. I brought my Honda in today for service and thank goodness I did. While I was there, the mechanic went to pull it into the garage and the battery completely died!!! They took care of everything and were so friendly about it.
