I've always used the skyline location because I use to live out there. I recently moved to the yacht club and wanted to try a close shop. MISTAKE!!! These dudes gave me the run around about how they couldn't perform the service I needed. A simple tire swap on tires on a bent rim. My daughter hit a pot hole. No damage to the tire just the rim. These tires were installed at the skyline location 15k miles ago. I called skyline and they pulled up my history. Said no problem and got me in within 20 min. read more

I took my vehicle to the Firestone at 11290 FL-82, Fort Myers, FL 33905, to have my oil cooler housing replaced. Since that repair or lack thereof, the oil leak has gotten worse. I have been back repeatedly, and they claimed to have rectified the problem, yet my car still leaks oil from the oil cooler housing area. They are refusing to refund me my money after many, many return visits, even though they claim to have replaced the part; I am still leaking oil from the oil cooler housing, which they claim they replaced. They will not even clean the engine after their alleged repairs; the engine components are always swimming in oil, leading to premature wear on the engine's rubber components. I have been back there so many times that I have lost count. I will not recommend taking your car to this place, ever. They are unwilling to perform the repair again, as they should to truly rectify this situation. It seems that fleecing the customer is more important than customer care, customer service, and customer education, which leads to customer retention. read more

ABSOLUTE DISASTER!!!! unfriendly and unprofessional service!!!! my husband and me had to fix a tire that had a screw inside and when they put the wheel back they turned one of the screws with the torque wrench "like it couldn't be fixed"!!! It's practically impossible to break a tire screw these days! Three mechanics saw it and told us to come back the next day around 3:00 because they ordered a new part to replace . we came next day at 3:00 as they told us the day before, they left us waiting for almost an hour without even looking at the car!!! and said that 4th person has now to look at all the wheels to see what is wrong !!! And maybe they had to order some other parts to replace!!!?!?!?!?!!!! The day before they had said they had ordered it and this was supposed to be there!!! So they were LIES!!!! Our car is new, we were fed up waiting without reason and had a bad feeling with this place, we decided to collect our key and went ahead to official JEEP workshop and they saw that the screw was fine!!! So WHY FIRESTONE INVENTED THIS STORY??? TO CREATE A DAMAGE WHERE ALL WAS FINE??? THIS SMELLS TO SCAM!!!! Took our car there to patch a tire and they broke a lug nut trying to get it off. They gave us the car back saying they didn't have the right tool to get the one they broke off and to take the car somewhere else. They way they broke it there was hardly anything left of it so now it's going to cost us like $500 because the tire has to come off from the inside. read more

They'll try to scam you, took my car to get an alignment and tried to say i need all my tie rods replaced for $1100, i already work in the automotive industry and do work on my own car and knew they were lying, plus one has already been replaced within the last 2 months and they couldn't even tell which one was replaced. These guys are unbelievable. Dropped my car at my appointment time at 8:40 am Sit and waited till 10am for them to tell me what my car needed. From 10 am till past 1 PM the had not gotten the parts. When I called all they will tell me is that they have no idea when they will receive the parts and it was not their problem. Of course at the time my car "can not be released to me" because they are not done. The lack of professionalism is mind blowing. Still waiting and no time estimate yet. I went to have 2 front tires replaced. After they inspected tires the mechanic came out and said I needed new tie rods. When I asked how bad they were he said I shouldnt be driving on them. Ha!! Are you kidding me. I knew the brakes were my issue and I was correct not the mechanic. I had a master cylinder and power brake booster replaced at another very reputable local mechanic and guess what...tie rods are like brand new. Firestone is only out to get your money they are not concerned with you period. Get a second opinion before just believing what they say you will save yourself some money time and hassle. read more

I actually called Skyline's Firestone for a tire, and was told that it was a tough tire to get and that the only one they could get for me was $85 + $25 for a balance and rotation, but all I actually needed was a new tire on my existing rim which was off of the car, so I thought to myself "that price seems a little too high" which is when I called the Cape Coral Parkway location and what do you know Rick told me he had a tire in stock and it would cost $69.70 and that's exactly how much I paid. It took literally 15 min and I was out the door with a brand new tire on my rim. I'm sorry Skyline but Cape Parkway's my new go to Firestone for now on! Dont go here. I went to this firestone to get one of my tires patched because it was flat. I waited over 2 and a half hours just for this service when I was told itd take only 1 hour. After 2 and a half hours I had enough and went to the desk to ask about my car. My form had been in the *contact needed* section for 20 minutes but they never bothered to contact me when i was in the waiting room 15 feet away. Finally he took me out to show me my tire and said that it was ruined because of being rode on to long when it was flat. They marked it with chalk and explained the streaks marked where the tire was ripped inside. I said fine put the spare on. He would send in a new tire in tommorow to buy. I went home and realised they never showed me all of the treads only a half of the tire. So i looked at the tire in the back of my truck and rotated it. A screw was in the tire, impossible to miss. Im 16, and was taken advantage of by them trying to rip me off. I went to another repair shop and they fixed my tire. read more

FOLLOW UP TO 7/29/2015 REVIEW I wrote a pretty scathing review on 7/29 in response to my grandmothers visit to this Firestone. Immediately the next morning the manager of this store, Tom, called me to apologize for my grandmother's visit. Tom was genuinely apologetic and he explained that he had just taken over this store less than a year ago and was has been making several significant improvements. Tom personally handled everything to do with my Grandmother's car. Although I wont give any specifics on what he did to make it right because I wouldn't want to give anyone any ideas on what to expect when they're unhappy, but I will say what he did was EXTREMELY generous and will not be forgotten. A store or business is only as good as their worst employees but having good management certainly makes up for it. Without Tom stepping in how he did, I would have continued my negative review crusade for several months to come. If you go to this store and something doesn't seem right to you you should ask to speak with Tom. I assure you he will make sure you will be treated fair and it is clear his intentions are honest. I dont know how long this store has been around but i'm pretty certain it has been around at least 20 years and with good upper management, it is likely to be around at least another 20. read more

They are thieves. I had my car at their shop for a checkup and they sold me a $150 battery that I did not need and then days later mysteriously they said my car would not start because the fuel pump was broken. They suggested a $100 analyses to verify it was the fuel pump. A day later he (Jeremy) says the analyses verified it was the fuel pump that would cost over $1,000.00 to replace. He said he would eat the $100 analyses since it was Christmas time. I was suspicious and had my car towed ($60) to Wilson's Auto repair on Country Club Blvd. where the battery was dead and after a charge at Wilson's Automotive the car started right up. How was the brand new $150 battery they sold me dead after one day following their $100 analyses and after a battery charge at Wilson's the car started right up? Firestone on Cape Coral Pkwy is a rip off and conducting illegal business practices. I would give them zero stars if that was an option. Out right thieves!! Off to the Better Business Bureau to fill a complaint then to Firestone Headquarters to report these crooks. read more

Beware of these guys! Took a company vehicle in because it's required by the fleet maintenance card. Had a battery replaced. Upon leaving found that the AC suddenly stopped working. Was told by them that the compressor needed to be replaced. Talked to our service manager who said things didn't add up and that Firestone has a reputation for making unneeded repairs. Took it to a Tire Kingdom nearby and took them 3 minutes to diagnose the correct problem. Leaking schrader valves. Fixed that night for $300 vs. the $1000 that Firestone wanted for the "repair". Hate to say it but these guys and the company as a whole are crooks. read more

I had an issue with my front driver tire. It seemed to be leaking air. I filled it out and drove 2 and a 1/2 hours for a Thanksgiving get-together. Before coming back home, I figured I would have the tire looked at since I was very afraid of driving the car (I almost paid hundreds of dollars for a rental to make the trip in the first place). I thought they could at least diagnose or patch the tire which is much more inexpensive. I have non-standard lug nuts that require a key to unlock. Not only did they rummage through my car for the part, they broke it and stated that whoever put the tires on before tightened it too much. I don't know how but they put the tire on, without checking it for the air leak, did not charge me but told me my lower control arm needed replacing ($500 repair). After that, I drove the car back 2.5hrs feeling wobbly, shaking and hearing weird sounds. As a couple of days went by, the noises got louder until it was unbearably loud. When I checked, two of the lug nuts fell off to the touch. The other two I unscrewed with my hand using no effort. I can't believe these people would endanger my life after I specifically told them I wanted a full diagnostic since I was driving a very long distance and I am very nervous. They should be ashamed for that. I would never put anybody's child in that position. read more
