The stage shows by Dave Salmoni, #Davesalmoni, the other nature adventures , the story time, even Billy's birthday were great show times. Not to forget the lots of food truck options available. Thanks Yelp for this first event experience. Am one who thinks reptiles are too slimy and...you know..but my view changed. I not only touched an anaconda, but small python too and it felt like a moving leather purse :) . Dave walks in the aisle while he shows his collection of wildlife with oh so much love and care. And, he has some great educational tips about conservation. Actually all programmes repeatedly stressed the importance of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, including the beautiful Macao ! There were more shows where they spoke about gators and crocodiles, birds of prey - this was really awesome with the birds flying over our heads, and more.. The Bridgeland park actually belongs to a community and so be careful not to tread on private property but there is soo much woodland, lake and trials to walk around and simply enjoy being one with nature. For kids there was grappling, virtual reality, face painting, story telling , ofcourse the birthday with free stuff distributed, the Hungry Caterpiller books, the fun character dressings, kite flying, pottery and so much more. And then there was outdoor lazer tag, virtual reality room and so on. The food trucks were a huge treat. Can't wait to go back next year.

Oh my my; now here is a real gem, but it's complicated. Superb trails which are wide including some…read morepaved. Spectacular scenery in the form of lakes, trees, creeks, hills, bike trails, benches galore, educational signs along side the benches, numerous bridges, docks, overlooks, picnic benches, disc golf, etc! The walking trail part says 1.1 miles from the start (it starts at the disc golf, just stay right as you go out of the parking lot towards the road bridge on house haul). Don't be fooled. If you go to the very end and back along the entire lake (by the way there is a completed trail the whole way, it's a hard packed gravel down the nature trail through the trees, and a sidewalk along the n bridgeland pkwy back), it's more like 5 miles. Do it in google maps if you don't believe me. Good part is there are 3 turn around points along the nature trail that go back a diff route, 2 go back into the disc golf then back to the lot, and the 3rd is the big bridge that crosses the lake a little more than halfway down. Tons of birds and various animals all along the way, paralleled on both sides by a creek and a lake with occasional spectacular views. One bike trail goes to a beautiful opening at the fork of cypress creek and little cypress creek. I took the stroller down it to see the amazing view of a dam (see my pics). The catch and reason why I won't give it even 4 stars: all this hinges on a controversial privacy policy in that they have big signs that say it's 'private property and for residents only no trespassing'. I've read from some google reviews that some park goers have been shouted at and basically shooed away. But they sounded like professional photographers, which would attract attention I guess. So that's disconcerting. But the grapevine says apparently this is recent and bridgeland is privatizing this formally public park. Maybe it's because they've invested a lot of money in making it nice with tons of benches, educational signs, disc golf, well maintained and immaculate trials/foliage, bathrooms, canoes, etc. I'm not sure if those things were here before these new private signs went up, but it wouldn't matter if it's off limits now. If you throw a birthday party or have some massive gathering here, I can see why they may say something if it's private. But if you just walk the trail I find it hard to believe you would get gestapoed. Sill, I'm quite annoyed that bridgeland is taking this snobby stance, but seeing how some people treat parks I guess I can sympathize. Take away 2 stars from the xenophobes for attempting to keep the proletarians out of this trumped up park. People want to appreciate this place, not harm it, don't be such pessimists!!

From being extremely knowledgeable, to extremely patient! Very kind, humble and a sense of openness, to even the most unlikely questions that we had, from just being curious and new at scuba.... Very flexible with our schedules, from meeting with us for the first time, to pool time. Once we had signed up with ASU, we started our PADi online course. Once all the chapters and tests were completed the "second" phase of pool "hands-on training" started. We met with Adam at an amazing indoor pool facility. Went over all safety checks, equipment, signals, etc... We did several days of pool exercises, learned everything from safety, our equipment (BCD, Mask, Computer, etc), how to clear our mask underwater, buoyancy, assisting your "buddy" in case of an emergency, equalizing (hardest to overcome for me), pressures, etc... Adam really is the best instructor we could have ever asked for! He worked really hard until we understood what he was teaching/showing us and over all until we accomplished what we needed to learn. Safety is top priority for him. We also, bought all of our equipment from Adam. FYI - don't call your MASK, goggles!!!

Although it's their job and summer tends to bring on younger instructors and they are qualified some don't have the patience or drive for toddlers. If you can find your way to work around a young man named Christians' schedule I strongly suggest this This young man is way over qualified and his patience with the toddlers show and they hang on every one of his words. I can't say enough great things about him and amazed how much my daughter has learned so far. He deserves a raise and other parents I spoke with noticed this as well. So as much as this place is great I highly recommend Christian if your child needs swim lessons.

I have my daughter in many activities and this experience was best in class with Jeff & Chris @ Maximum Scuba. They made it fun, educational and still got across the seriousness and importance of the key aspects of scuba diving. They had students performing all kinds of skills over and above what is required solely to help them learn and build confidence to face whatever they may while diving. With me as an experienced diver, they let me stay with her the entire time in the pool and participate in whatever I wanted. They could not have been more accommodating to me if they tried and it meant a lot. Unfortunately in today's society finding really good experiences can be hit or miss based on the folks passion and commitment to providing a memorable experience. I can assure you, these guys are setting the standard and for that I am truly grateful, and would recommend anyone interested in diving to give Maximum scuba a try.

The home was clean and well staged, the owner seemed caring and patient. Pricing was fair and suitable for my fathers care. The Senior referral service that sent over her info is an exceptionally reputable company. I reached out to the owner Christiana on Feb 20 to inquire interest thru text, I went to visit that evening around 6pm. I explained my dad's situation and expressed an immediate need for home care facility. I visited other home care facilities and decided on this one. Reached out to Christy and emailed over medical records with his full diagnosis on 2/26/25 from his neurologist. She looked it over same day and accepted him. I asked what was needed for intake, the process to get him settled by March 1, 2025. Mind you, this is my first time placing my father in anyone's care, I have been caring for him for the past 5yrs until his needs became greater than i could give. So after running a care home for 2 yrs I figured she was experienced. Not the case: I gathered his necessities, and she ordered the bed. I asked if she needed to meet or evaluate him before he moved in and she said no. That was the first mistake. I brought him on March 1, 2025 around lunch time. Greeted with a smile, I set up his room and she let him join her four other residents for lunch(Rice, meat and a veggie- good portion). Her new staff member was there providing help; she was also pleasant and helpful. Off to a good start! Paid the community fee, monthly and provided medications and records/ Intake paperwork. She text me the first dinner photo with a hot dog and chips :-/ my dad is an 83 year grown man who likes to eat. Sigh.. The next morning; a piece of jelly toast, sliced fruit and bowl of oatmeal I believe.. again he loves his full meals with meat, eggs, etc and good portions. I didn't say anything, just a thumbs up and taking notes. Asked how he was doing but didn't want to come by yet and confuse him. She told me he wasn't sleeping thru the night and needed hospice care / stronger meds. "Ok, no problem" I text my contact Amanda from "Help for my Parents" who have exceeded my expectations in assisting in this transition. Amanda set me up with a lovely company "Blue Star" which cover all hospice care needs for Medicare recipients. Hospice care is awesome, not like it used to be its comfort care now! That will be another review, more positive. Made an appointment with for Monday with Patty and they did intake on my lunch break, met me at my office and had services rendered by the same evening!! Nurse Angela evaluated my dad, changed meds, introd his hospice dr and social workers, next day they provided needed supplies. Christy was receiving the support she asked and still didnt have the capacity to care for my dad. She gave meds later in the night and had him drowsy during the day. The next night, he was up again and had a fall in the bathroom. I'm speculating the drowsiness but I wasn't there. She called hospice, was told to call 911 she did and my dad refused to go to the hospital. She gave him sleeping meds per nurse order after the incident around 1am. We spoke and agreed to allow him to transition with new meds, she called and had him removed thru hospice and I was told he could not return he wasn't a suitable placement for him. I found out thru a hospice rep the ambulance would be there at 12 to take him. I called her to find out what was going on, and she comfirmed. I was confused but agreed in the height of all the emotions. I arrived around lunch he was shuffling and moving like a snail. Tried to eat lunch and hands shaking and he was falling asleep at the table. She said this is how he's been. I was confused, when he got here on Saturday 3/1/25 he was fine, 3 days later he fell and the 4th day he was drowsy and could barely speak or feed hisself. He was moved to a fully staffed respite in Cypress run by Ms Charlotte. In just 6 hours he was moving, talking, dressing hisself and eating as he did before arriving at Blossom Brooks. Smdh!!! I'm pissed at this point, but grateful for the move. It saved his life. He has been in hospice for 4 days and is doing very well & will be moved to a suitable home in Katy soon. Lastly, I asked Christy for my dad's deposit and pro rated rental fee since he was removed due to her lack of screening / capacity to take him on. She finally agreed to the pro rated amount after 30 days; I told her I couldnt wait and needed to find him a new home before 30 days. She agreed to Zelle me the funds and did so. But refused to release the deposit stating it's non refundable per her policy. I told her the policy doesn't stand if it's the care home's fault that failed to evaluate properly. So this review is a caution to all the caregivers and loved ones who are inexperienced in finding care. Get help from the above referrals in this review.
