my experience with Mathew and premier chimney was very pleasant. the communication with Mathew was awesome. i emailed him at least 30 times and he responded to everyone of them. every text and phone call was returned also. out of the 4 chimney contractors we had come and give us estimates on installing a wood stove and liner premier was the only one to wear shoe covers when entering our house. they were very clean before, during and after the installation. contract paperwork was very professional and easy to understand. for our install we needed to rent a lift. Mathew set up the rental for a set price. the rental company raised the price on us the day of the rental(400 bucks!). Mathew took charge, told them we weren't going to pay the price, went to another lift company and got a lift for the weekend for significantly less than originally planned. that is big in my book! he could of said thats the price for the lift and stuck with the first company but he didn't. he saved us over 800 dollars on the lift alone. he agreed to pick the lift up and return it as part of the install. he returned it ON TIME to the rental store so no late fee was charged! during the install process Mathew and crew were very polite to my wife and children. he even sang the rescue bots theme song with my son. every question we asked during the install was answered in a professional friendly way. its was very easy to talk to Mathew and crew. the final product is great. draft is perfect and we have not had any smoke in the house. we have already saved hundreds on the winter electric bills. premier chimney is a polite, professional, clean, and good quality craftsmanship company. premier is our chimney sweep! thank you Mathew and crew! read more

I had ripped out my old prefab fireplace and attempted to get 3 other contractors to come out to quote a wood stove insert and they all flaked out and my project stalled. Premier Chimney and Roofing provided the best customer service to my 81 year old Mother's house. Matthew came out, gave a quote and discussed with my Mother in length the repairs that needed to be done. He gave her three options and she chose to have them reline entire flu and smoke chamber with Heat shield system to be a fully functional chimney. The technician (Adam) came out and cleaned and inspected my chimney. He was incredibly professional and very nice. Due to not having a cap and the sealant being messed up he quoted me those items to get them repaired. A week later Adam and Matthew (the owner of the company) came out to repair those items. Highly recommend them. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the chimney cleaning. They kept everything very clean and didn't make any mess. Premier was on time and the price was as advertised. Our chimney required rotary cleaning which "Step in Time" quoted at $810 after a classic bait and switch of charging a $45 "inspection" fee. Premier quoted $300 for the same service. They came on time and finished within 30 minutes. Again I wonder what the $810 was going to get me.
