The next few years were filled with specialists visits, following ambulances to the ER, watching my husband life flighted into the trauma center, ect. There wasn't any time for dental visits. Recently, I lost my husband. He did not survive his injuries. On Feb. 21, 2024 I called Bara Dental for an appointment because, on top of everything, else I had just broken a tooth. They advised since it had been a few years since I had been seen, they would have to establish me as a new patient. No appointment until June. I shared about my husband, apparently that and my situation with a new injury didn't matter to them. They wouldn't budge. I also had to endure them justifying this abusive and negligent treatment as they made false claims that I cancelled appointments and was never happy there anyway. Then I was hung up on. One could reason that if I had not been happy with their past service I wouldn't have stayed with that practice. I would have found another dentist. I called a new dentist and explained my situation. They got me in right away.

Both receptionists are always quick to answer the phone and you virtually never have to deal with waiting on hold. (I personally have never had to but I don't want to make that assumption for 100% of the people.) Any time you spend waiting in that office is under 5 minutes unless you show up early. They always make it a point to remember your name and face and even the small details even you forget, that just make you feel like they truly care about your over-all well being. They also have the wide spectrum of hygienists covering the babies like me who can't handle the tough scraping of my teeth all the way to those who make you feel like you just left the dentist with brand new teeth! Speaking of that if you are thinking about straightening your teeth... seriously don't even look anywhere else. My treatment took me 2 years (I had pretty crooked teeth) and in that time not once did I feel like the treatment was a pain in the ass. My teeth are "movie star" straight now and I miss going in for checkups so much I have to come up with new problems just to go in for a visit. So, in all seriousness... best dentist around in my opinion and if anyone tells you differently then they are probably heavily medicated and or missing a piece of their frontal lobe. We arrived at 1:45pm to make sure we were not late. After waiting until 2:35pm we asked how much longer. We were told they didn't know if he would get in by 3pm or even 4pm!!! They told us we needed to reschedule! Why would you make someone wait that long and say nothing until they come up and question? We drive a significant distance to get there and were there early. This is not the first time they have been extremely far behind, leaving us and others to wait an extended period of time. Why is it that if we were late beyond 10 minutes we are charged for the appointment and they cancel ( says in their terms and conditions ). We have never been. But, when we travel 40 minutes and wait over another 30 plus minutes we just get dismissed like our time doesn't matter? We will be actively seeking another dentistry and leaving this one happily behind. With business practice like this they will not stay in business very long.
