I can confidently say that this is the most advanced practice in the area with the best tools, technology, and knowledge. First let me review the actual dental office: When I walked in, I immediately felt safe and at home. It's a professional office that looks like an adorable big house on a safe, well manicured street in an easy to find area. (With plenty of parking) and inside it looks like a home really rooted in family values. The reception desk is big and relaxed next to a homey waiting room lined with windows. The dental chairs are private, and they have instant x-rays, water picks to get your teeth extra clean, and the kindest warmest staff helping their patients feel comfortable. Anything you might need, they have thought of it already. I have sensitive teeth so I was offered numbing cream for my gums before I started my cleaning. - there were even kids having a fun time at their appointments, and they had toys to pick from at the end. Dr. Elizabeth Spindel is kind, warm and positive too. Like I have known her forever. She made me feel confident about my teeth and was just so positive and fun to work with. She is so attentive to detail that she can even work preventatively. Meaning, she can catch things that other dentists or doctors may not notice... even before it's a problem or a health concern. I'm just so impressed. Dr. Victoria Spindel, Elizabeth's daughter, feels like a friend I immediately clicked with. She is laid back and incredibly intelligent. Her explanations have such care and professional detail, and yet she's easy to understand without needing her to repeat. I love that they're a mother-daughter team too! It feels wholesome and trustworthy in there. And as lame as I'm making myself look, it's cute that it seems like love is their secret ingredient. I found Dr. Sigua through my in network insurance provider and called the schedule an appointment with him, I also verified that he was within network. I received text and email confirmations specifically stating my appointment confirmation with Dr. Sigua by name. When I got there I was under the impression that is the doctor I was seeing. Apparently they switched my appointment to their new doctor (Kyle Lapage) because they want to get him patients. I was told at the visit it was all covered by insurance and would result in zero cost as I was expecting because general cleanings are covered and I was already told they were in network. Later I get a bill because Dr. Lapage was not within network with my insurance even though Dr. sigua was. I was told they needed to resubmit it under Dr. sigua and it would be zero dollars. So I called the office to say there was a mistake as I know my appointment was with Dr. Sigua but they said no I did in fact see Dr. Lapage without my knowledge or consent and because he was not within network I now owed hundreds of dollars for the appointment and they would not back down from this even though I was clearly scammed into seeing a doctor I did not schedule with in the first place. This was their mistake and they expect me to pay the bill. I will be taking them to small claims court as I still have all the proof of a scheduled appointment with Dr. sigua who is in fact in network. Please be careful as there is a lot of deception that goes on here in order to gain new patients for their new doctor and screw the patient in the process. Dr. Spargimino is the best dentist I've ever had. She is a master with a novocaine needle and has helped me let go of my life long dental phobia. My wife and I moved up to NH last year from CT. We had always had cleanings and check up back home…read moreevery 6 months. We made appointments with Hastings based on recommendations we had received. To be objective, it seemed that this dental facility was state of the art, they seemed to have the latest and greatest equipment. The staff, especially the hygienists and assistants were very nice and professional. They were on top of making sure you were always comfortable. What really turned me off (more like pissed me off) was the upsell along with the sales pressure that the woman up front who handled the scheduling. They would seat you with her as you were exiting and she would hit you up with additional procedures that were very costly and certain unaffordable. I tried to explain to them that I had been out of work, and did not have dental insurance to pay for a $1400 under gum cleaning. They eventually cam back with a procedure using a different piece of equipment for around 1/4 of the price, but still insisted I would require the original $1400 procedure within a few months. Well, all the time I am thinking that my dentist in CT had never come up with all this baloney. Meanwhile, my wife get's told that all her fillings needed to be replaced. She questioned this diagnosis and guess what happened? They sent us a notice in the mail firing us as their patients because we did not subscribe to their treatments. Give me a break!!! I'll tell you what, my guess is this dentist needed to turn in his Mercedes for the new Bently that's coming out. I guess he doesn't realize that dental health care is not the same as selling used cars. I do not recommend this practice as I feel they have very low regard for their customers and their customer's financial situations, they just want to soak you or your insurance for all that they can get.
