My party was scheduled from 6pm-12am on 10/30/21. This man turned my party out til let's just say 3:30am in the morning. I think if it hadn't started to lightly, we would have still been there. I had some reservations about him being able to play Bollywood and Indian Music, but he handled it with ease. He had us send him references to songs we'd like him to play, and included that in his set, along with his own collection of Bollywood/India music he's built over time. As a DJ myself, I appreciate the professionalism and work that goes into the work for private events and Dave exemplifies this. My mom had booked Dave for a family function this past weekend (5/19/19). Unfortunately, there was a storm this day that did not let up and the rain really made it difficult to host the event. My family had to put up tents (as the event was outdoors) and rigged a set up to keep Dave and his equipment dry. Dave played for a bit but the rain was too strong and he had to shut down. Prior to this, he did his best to adjust and make do with the space he had, but my family made the call to cut it before something happened. Prior to the event, Dave was very thorough in his communication (something that is great to have before an event, if you are planning to book a DJ for a wedding or private and have musical preferences, be sure to communicate that to your DJ and let them know ahead of time) and it was great to exchange industry stories with him. Dave has been DJing for 30+ years and has a wealth of experience, I recommend him for your bookings. Thanks again Dave, hope to work with you again in the future! read more

I can't believe there are this many positive reviews for this guy, considering he ruined best friend's wedding. I was recently in a wedding that used DJ Dave (Premier DJ Service) and honestly, it was the worst audio at an event that I've ever encountered. Which is not surprising considering he was late to the ceremony and didn't even do a mic check, as I later learned. During the ceremony, the groom's father sang a beautiful song to the couple... Unfortunately no one could hear it due to horrible, screeching mic interference. And even though the entire crowd was clearly uncomfortable, not to mention the groom signaling for DJ Dave to turn the mic off multiple times, the interference continued throughout the entire song. The awful sound quality continued during the reception, where every. single. toast was interrupted by more mic interference or the sound cutting out. And during my speech, the mic cut off entirely.... which I'd like to say was a divine act from God but was actually just DJ Dave's audio failing AGAIN. There is more I could say but at the end of the day, my best friend's wedding was beautiful, wonderful, and one of the best days of her life (and mine). That's why it's so unfortunate, frustrating, and incredibly upsetting to know that it was marred by one really awful DJ. And to top it off, despite a multitude of blatantly horrible issues, he didn't even offer the bride and groom an apology or any type of refund! Yes, sometimes people make mistakes and sometimes equipment fails... but take some responsibility for it at the very least! Especially considering that this was a WEDDING (aka one of the most special days of a couple's lives). And to top it off, their wedding video (which they'll want to look back on for years to come) is likely now ruined as well. All that to say, I could not in good faith ever recommend that anyone use Premier DJ Service. I'm appalled that someone in this business would be so unprofessional, callous and rude. read more
