    premiere Events did a beautiful job on my daughters Quinceañera November 13, 2015 at the Oceanaire Resort it was more than I expected I was blown away with the quality of decor and ambiance I truly felt like I was at a glamorous event. Patty and her team made all this happen in a week I was In a tuff bind and they took care of what I needed quickly. Premiere Events is definitely the place to go to in the Hampton roads area. I will definitely be using them again

    In all honesty, I would never recommend Bos Movers to anyone. They were scheduled to arrive between…read more9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., but by 12:15 p.m., I received a call stating they were running behind and would arrive in 30-45 minutes. When the employee, Joe, called, he immediately asked what exactly we were moving because, according to him, the company doesn't provide any details , which I found very odd and unprofessional. I explained everything to him, just as I had when I received my quote. His response? "Wow, I don't know why they have me on this job. I usually just move pianos." That was my first red flag. Joe also asked, "Who did your quote -- was it a woman or a man?" I told him it was a woman, and his response was, "That's why this is all messed up." That comment was completely unprofessional and inappropriate, and it immediately made me question the company's internal communication and professionalism. He also mentioned that he had a trailer, not a moving truck, and might not have enough room for my items. At this point, I was both frustrated and anxious because I had only four days to move and would have gladly booked another company had I known they couldn't properly accommodate me. When Joe and two other movers finally arrived, the two helpers were polite and professional , but Joe spent the entire time complaining. He repeatedly said the job was "taking too long" and claimed it was only supposed to be a two-hour move, even though my written quote clearly stated three hours. I finally told him his issue was with his company, not with me, and that his constant complaining was completely unprofessional. After about two hours, Joe brought me the contract to sign, the same one I had already received via email. I agreed to pay for an additional hour (totaling four hours), which was fair. However, once the move was completed, Joe altered the contract, attempting to add extra fees and claimed they had been there all along. I showed him my original emailed copy, which proved he had just added them. When confronted, he became defensive instead of resolving the issue professionally. To be fair, the other two movers apologized several times for his behavior and were genuinely courteous. But as the saying goes, one bad apple spoils the bunch. Joe's attitude, dishonesty, and unprofessionalism completely ruined the experience. Bottom line: Don't book with Bos Movers. Save yourself the stress and frustration. I truly hope the owner reads this because based on my experience and likely others, this kind of behavior needs to be addressed immediately. Only reason I gave them a 2 is because they did complete the job and the other 2 gentlemen were very nice. They shouldve left Joe at home!

    This review is for Granny's Christmas Tree Lot by Perfect Event Rentals…read more Conveniently located on Great Neck Rd. right next to Church of the Holy Family, Granny's Christmas Tree Lot is THE spot to get your Christmas tree. We've now purchased our Christmas tree from them for the past few years in a row, after previously purchasing from another well-known lot nearby. They have the healthiest, best looking trees I've ever seen, and the best prices to boot. Their set-up is so organized that it made finding our perfect Christmas tree super easy. We especially appreciated the walkways which they have in place so that we weren't traipsing through the mud and dirt. A staff member was readily available to pull any tree out for us to examine on all sides, and they're all so pleasant! They have trees of all sizes, though tending more toward the kind of lush trees which you simply cannot get at Lowe's or Home Depot or the like. We were very impressed with their prices--we have 10 foot ceilings, so appropriately-sized trees can get quite pricey. The tree we chose will more than fill its corner, and that size usually runs about $150+. We paid only $108 for it at Granny's. So, not only are you getting the best trees, but you're also getting the best prices! They had our tree trimmed up and loaded onto our car in no time. We also purchased a bottle of Prolong, a water additive for your Christmas tree which truly works to prolong the tree's life (we buy it every year), as well as an extended thing to actually water the tree more easily. This facility was one of the first to come us when I searched and after a brief email exchange, I was set up with my 8' table and 15 nice folding chairs. The pick up time was flexible, which was great since I never know the ships schedule. Having to go and get the rentals and bring them back was a little inconvenient, as we don't own a truck and had to get a shipmate to transport for us, but the great service we got and the flexible time frame we were given to return our rentals without being charged extra fees more than made up for it. The awesome price for the total rental was a perk too. Knowing I can count on Perfect Event Rental means I can plan more great gatherings with the people we love.
