BAM! The spring on my garage door had snapped as it was closing leaving my vehicle trapped inside my garage (hello MTA, it's been a while). Had a bad control board on my door opener and it was dead in the water. Called Hector after hours and got a call back the next morning. Had him come out and he had the same assessment I did of my 20 year old opener. He wrote up a quote to replace the entire unit, or just the part that went bad. After a brief family discussion decided we'd prefer to have the whole unit replaced for peace of mind. Texted Hector and got us on the schedule for the following day. Unfortunately he had to reschedule but no big deal. 72 hours later he showed up ready to work and had the old unit removed and the new one put in place within 90 minutes. The man is a speed demon. Hector was great at communicating installation information of our new WIFI garage door opener as well as being very flexible with our availability for the actual installation time and date. He gave us the best price out of multiple businesses that serve the South Bay (I am located in Torrance). The best part about Premier Garage is that the job was done VERY cleanly and thoughtfully. All wiring was run cleanly and hidden when possible, the unit was mounted taking up minimum space and Hector even did an analysis on the structure of our garage and mentioned he would have to slightly offset the opener to match the strongest structure of the garage. This is important if you want to avoid a creaky install and/or structural damage from poor installations. Hector mentioned he would need a couple of hours for everything and he was back in his truck on the road around then. On the same note of adhering to the tight window that we needed him to complete the install (due to my wife's work meetings), he was able to clean our garage and actually let her know how the garage opener worked, how to connect to the WIFI of the garage opener and also gave us tips such as letting us know LED bulbs interfere with the opener signal (didn't know this is fairly common). Some contractors run off the job as soon as the minimum work is done per contact. Premier makes sure that you are satisfied and educated about your purchase.
