I wanted to wait a little bit before writing this review. My daughter has been going to classes here for a little while and I think we have a feel for how things work. I am really satisfied with Premier West. I see that some people think the coaches are hard on the kids, but I don't really see that. I think they could push my daughter a little more. She was often getting bored not being pushed to challenge herself or learn something new. I am glad to say that the coaches did notice this as well and pushed her up into the next class level before I was able to bring it up to them. She is much happier in her new class level and is being challenged to meet new goals. They are also very nice to the girls. My daughter loves her coach and is excited to see her every week. The gym is busy with people. So that must show that they are doing something right. Premier offers many class options and they have reasonable sized classes. The classes are not too large where kids get over looked. We searched the local area for other options before picking Premier and for the price, this is the best place by far. They allow you to make up classes if you miss, many other places don't do that. So your child can take a break if needed and not fall behind, plus you never really feel like your money is wasted when you miss a class. read more

Class sizes are good and coaches seem very interested in my child's progress. Lots of class offerings, so it was easy to fit our schedule. All levels welcome, and I like that a lot. Both of my boys have enjoyed a number of birthday parties and open gym at this facility. Everyone we've ever met there seems like a giant extended family. My son was not interested in joining the team, but the option was there and they are very committed to their boys program. Also nice to see that private lessons are available for extra help or if your child doesn't quite fit into a group setting. read more

This is the best gym in the area. I drive from Naperville 4x a week for my daughter on team. The coaching staff is very knowledgable, caring, supportive, experienced and fun. They always reply to emails from families. They go above and beyond for their team girls. The owners and office staff are very respectful, communicative and fair with their fees and monthly costs. The gym is very clean and safe. I highly recommend this gym for team girls. read more

My daughter absolutely loves her time in gymnastics class here. The instructors are very patient and good with the 'lil ones, like my daughter. The only reason this is not a 5 star, is because it's sometimes hard to find seating on a Saturday afternoon. I think with a few extra, well places chairs, everybody would be able to sit and not stand against the wall. read more

I've been bringing my daughter to Premier for 3 years now. We've had such a great experience. The front desk ladies are so kind and helpful. They help answer so many questions. Coach Chelsea and Coach Tyler are two coaches we've had and loved!! They do a great job with the littler kids. They push them and keep them moving so they don't get bored and restless. As I sit and listen to my daughter sing the praises of Coach Tyler for hours on end, it dawned on me that I should be sharing this. My daughter had Coach Tyler for hot shots 1 last summer and progressed faster than I've ever seen her do, all while forming a true passion for gymnastics. Although she doesn't have Tyler as a coach this session , every time she does a make up with him she comes out inspired, confident and excited. In her words, she said "Tyler pushes me in a good way and makes me try things I had no idea I could even do! He's kind and caring, he'll tell me when he knows I can do better on something and I want to do better and work as hard as I can because I love him." I've watched Tyler really spend time to ensure she's not just "getting" a skill, but really focusing on the correct form. I can't say enough good things about him! I'd also like to add that we love Premier West! After being there for some time, we've had several other amazing coaches that have fostered my daughters love of gymnastics. Had my daughter's 8th Birthday party here and let me tell you this place exceeded our expectations! We rented out the space and the kids had a blast! Such a great experience especially since it was our first time here! Will definitely be coming back! Shoutout to the two lovely gals who waited patiently as we waited for our food to arrive! Have to agree with others about the competition team. Coaches are verbally and emotionally abusive. They are dismissive about any questions or concerns you have. They look at you like your stupid when you try to address a concern. And also agree about what someone said about the head girls team coach. Yelling at 6, 7, 8 and 9 year old kids is not how you inspire them to do their best. It is not a positive learning environment. And yes there was definitely bulling going on. But you know what they say. It starts from the top and works it's way down. If I could pick no star I would. read more

Way overpriced for the facility. It is a decent gym and the instructors are very driven to help your child learn and develop. However, that is how it should be in regards to the teaching aspect. The other areas such as not allowing the facility to be overcrowded, providing enough seating for those to attend and observe and maintaining a clean facility are not as top notch as some other facilities we have been to. My two girls have been competing there for 2 years. They never complain about the workload or coaches. The girls' program can best be described as very competitive with other gyms but with a somewhat relaxed approach. Coaches are great and nuture the kids. The friendships made by the kids and parents are wonderful. We all know each other. There is a close connection between the girls. We want all of our girls to succeed. Team parents sit together and cheer for all the girls at every meet. Work ethic, confidence and friendships are what makes me so proud of my girls participating in this program. We definitely won't be leaving anytme soon!!! read more

West has been a great experience for my family. 3 kids on competitive team. All 3 girls have been treated with respect, encouraged and kept safe. On more than one occasion we have witnessed a team coach tell a child that their safety is more important than a meet or a new skill. VERY IMPRESSED! All 3 girls have continued to improve both physically and mentally! This is not an easy task when dealing with teens and preteens. Very nice facility. Clean. But not the best if you have a young child who doesn't "fall in line", sit still when waiting, or sit silently. I mean...all 3 and 4 year olds should be perfect, right? read more

The front desk staff is not friendly or helpful. They have consistently have the attitude you are bothering them. I've noticed lately one of the staff members wears a back brace and is NOT spotting the kids correctly. I've seen kids landing on their necks and backs in ways that they should not. In the younger classes, they need more help. Classes get subdivided into sub groups with no one helping them. Classes are too expensive for that to be happening. read more

I wanted to share my experience as a current mom of a Gymnast at Premier West. My daughter transferred there from another gym almost 4yrs. ago just finishing level 4. My daughter had a lot of anxiety and trust issues, and we were just looking for a gym that better fit her needs. We had looked at several gyms and none of them felt right. Lastly, we went to Premier West. The head coach Diane spent time talking with us, evaluated our needs, and the team girls made my daughter feel like part of the team from day one. As soon as we walked out she said, "Mom, this is my gym" and we have been there ever since. Her first meet she took last place because she had so much work to do. Now, a level 8, she often takes 1st and her skills and her confidence are undeniable. This is due to the hard work and dedication of her, but also to the dedication of the amazing coaches, especially Coach Diane, Coach Ashley, and Coach Jason, who have been coaching her since the beginning. The consistency is so important and the coaches truly care about these girls and make sure they don't get injured, listen to them when they are upset, and help them back up when they fall. I never feel like I need to watch a practice because my daughter always feels safe. A lot of the older girls will sometimes come right from school or stay between events and do homework, or go to Team open gym, etc...it is their home away from home. And as a parent, I feel confident that she is in a safe environment at Premier West. I know she is not only cared for by the coaches, but by the front desk staff as well as with the other gymnasts whom she considers her sisters for life. I couldn't imagine my daughter going anywhere else for Gymnastics. read more
