Recently, my kids started doing gymnastics at Mountain Brook Gymnastics Center. They both turned…read morethree back in April and still don't have a ton of coordination. But we were hoping for a few things out of signing them up: improving that coordination, seeing if this might be something they can enjoy down the road and to wear them out so they sleep hard!! Their Covid process is really well planned out. They have a designated crowd flow plan with a specific entrance and specific exit. They also have someone at the front checking temperatures. The main gymnastics area are on the main level. It is a huge facility that has been buzzing with kids of all ages every time we have gone. For our little ones they have a smaller area upstairs where there is an observation area for the big area. And when I say smaller, it is just in comparison to the big area. It still has plenty of room. The instructors are great with kids, their facility is great and we really enjoy it.

Many problems with this gym. First of the instructors are not professional. Two of children were in…read morethe ninjas class and I saw an instructor screaming like a lunatic at one of my children. Second issue I cancelled my childrens membership after this and they continued to charge me for months afterwards. They wont stop charging me. They write me saying your child has missed 5 classes. I wrote them back saying no they didnt Innever signed up for those classes I cancelled their membership yet you continue to charge me regardless. They literally keep billing me no matter how many times I tell them. Also other issues I had was during the pizza patry its a comple free for all. My oldest child who is 12 while at the pizza party literally told an instructor 2 times she never got any pizza. This okace is complete chaos. They cant get billing straight, at the pizza party Im paying for pizza and dropping my kid off for 3 hours and my child is starving the entire time. My child was seiously hurt also at the pizza party because no one is regulating what happens there. My child had a toe nail completely ripped out. This place is completely unprofessional and I will never send my children back here.

Very dissapointed in the attitude of the gym owners. They are obviously more interested in money…read morethan they are in making thier students better. We have been taking classes here for close to two years but no longer. They failed to notify us that the gym would be closed and we had a full week with no classes. We pay for two classes per week. When I asked why we would be charged for services that were not received they treated it as if it was our fault. This is not the first time they charged us for services that were not rendered but it will definitly be the last.
