I had been delaying my roof replacement project for a while. It just seemed like too much of a…read moreheadache, so I kept on having it patched and fixed. I finally had some time off work and decided to just get it done. Nearby Roofing was so responsive, kind, and fair that I feel they deserve every word in this 5-star review. I hired them to replace my old TPO roof. Matt recommended that I replace the roof with a new TPO system, but because our old roof had caused a lot of issues in the past, I insisted on having a different type of roof installed, so we had them install torch down and wow I am very happy with my new roof and feel like I made the right choice. The installation required some extra hot work inspections, which, to my understanding, are an additional step added because of the way this specific material is applied. One of the main reasons for me wanting to have the roof replaced is because our home insurance company had been giving us a very difficult time renewing our insurance, to the point that this year they decided they would not renew it if we did not replace the roof. We had a deadline, and I asked Matt if he could finish the job by then. He kept his word and was done with all inspections on time. First, I would like to thank Matt and his team for the excellent work they did and second is a big thank you to Peter from the office who was also very helpful and responsive.

My parents' roof was in a really bad condition. They kept having recurring leaks that I had patched myself, but couldn't handle anymore. I spoke with my roofer, and he recommended Nearby Roofing. I gave them a call and met with Matt. Since they had an earlier availability and had come with a recommendation from a source that I considered trustworthy, I did not hesitate to hire them to do the work. I told Matt that my parents are elderly and couldn't take part in the project. I was to be the main point of contact but could not visit the house everyday. I was therefore looking for a responsible and organized company that I could trust to show up every day, respect my parents and their home, and in addition get the job done without my everyday supervision. Matt guaranteed that I was in good hands and seemed very nice and polite. We had to correct the slope on the roof as part of the replacement because the roof wasn't draining water properly, which resulted in large pooling areas. Matt kept me fully informed. We had daily phone calls, and I received images of the work progress. My parents said that the team was very friendly and kind. I called the contractor who replaced my roof and asked if he could stop by for a few minutes just to check the roof and give us his opinion. He very kindly agreed to do this and he also said that the roof was nicely done. Very happy with Matt and his team and the way they managed our project.

We used them for the third and last time. While they clean the windows well and are very prompt,…read morethe last time they were here, they ripped out three of our screens that had alarm sensors attached to them. They neglected to tell us; I didn't discover until I went to set my alarm. I was able to repair one screen. I got a quote to fix two of the screens and gave it to Clearview; Berta said it was high and I invited her to come over and look at the damage. She agreed to send an electrician to fix one screen and took the other screen to get repaired and fix the alarm wires and then have an electrician connect the screen to the sensor. I had to email her for the screen and to ask when they were going to send someone over to fix. Her father brought over the repaired screen but the wires still needed to be connected on both screens. When I emailed her (after two months of delays) asking her when an electrician would be coming over; she never answered. I finally had to have the alarm company come over and fix. Bottom line - very poor, disappointing, and unprofessional service from a company that damaged my screens and refused to fix them.

They helped us to rebuild the dry creek with boulders, rocks, and cobble stones.
