I had my roof replaced by Retex two weeks ago. Reroofing is a big deal, so I did a little research…read moreand wanted to get someone with good reviews. Some of the good companies I found do not cover Gainesville area. Then one my of neighbors recommended Retex. She had the roof done in August and Retex was the cheapest quote. So I called Retex, and the phone was answered right away (not like some other places I called). Wes met with me over zoom and went over the whole re-roofing process with a powerpoint presentation (what would be replaced and what might be extra). The quoted price wasn't the cheapest, but I liked how Wes went through the whole procedure, so I decided to go with Retex. The job was done promptly, the crew was courteous. Wes was very communicative during the whole process. What I liked the most is that whatever concern I had, Wes would address them until I am satisfied. Looking back, it would be an even better experience if I told them my expectations in detail before the job was done. There isn't much rain yet, but I believe the roof will hold up in heavy rains. Even if there is a problem, I am confident that Retex will come back and address it. I would definitely recommend Retex to friends.

The design is personal and amazingly thoughtful; seeing we have dogs, she incorporated a dog run area into her design. Plants in the front yard were selected to be of low value to deer, which frequent our yard. Rocks in the waterfall were meticulously arranged to look natural, and sound beautiful with the water flowing. Our living space has expanded, our pups are happier, our neighbors are interested, and we are thrilled with what LDA has created for us. I tried to deal with them for about a year or better. They promise you, yet fail to complete. Left a large debris pile in my drive, and a general mess around my yard. They removed several plants that had been recently planted and kept them. I had to ask a dozen times for them to be returned. Finally, I was forced to fire them. Now I'm trying to find a company that will finish several half completed projects. So far, no one wants come in behind them. Although very nice, they drag their feet and are not at all reliable.

Used to be word of mouth but now it's this forum. Hal and crew are very professional and courteous. They have great equipment and take good care of it and like my house there tools shine. Hal treats his crew very well and although he may cost a bit more you won't get any better looking lawn unless you did it yourself. I've priced other services and his is right in the middle but the level of work you get makes up for any savings then aggravation you might get from a cheaper quote. My yard looks like a park.
