I would give 5 stars if price was not a factor. This is a well maintained, clean salon that does not have nail polish odors. The massage chairs work well and the aestheticians do a quality job. The place has been remodeled for a while now (according to the worker that was doing my nails). I had my acrylic nails taken off, they were able to take it off fully, they were very thorough at getting it off, and think only once did they accidentally got the tool too close to my actual skin. read more

The pedicure I got was fine. I should have asked before hand the cost because what I assumed would be no more than a $25 bill actually was $35 which is normally what a mani/pedi costs, not just a pedicure. It was not a good enough pedicure for it to be worth that price. read more

This is a very clean and welcoming salon. Michele does my gel fills and she is fantastic. It is a very relaxing place and the people are all very friendly and do a very careful job. Michele takes great care to make sure things are just right. I've been to other salons in Issaquah that are highly rated and they were unfriendly and very busy and didn't take time with you. I went yesterday to get a mani-pedi. It is literally the worst manicure I have gotten in my life. I have nails that are partially unpainted (this is after having to show the woman every place she missed while painting my nails), the nail polish is all bubbled, she butchered my cuticles and I have nail polish all over the skin around my nails. This place is so expensive and I just feel ripped off. Do yourself a favor and skip it! read more

Horrible brow waxing experience. I came in for an upper lip wax and the lady convinced me I needed my brows done so i thought I'd give it a try since she had such a strong opinion about my lines and where I needed to wax. After she did the first brow I got a sinking feeling in my stomach. And when she finally finished I looked in the mirror and wanted to cry. The lines were so thin!! My wife and I went to Lakemont spa a couple of weeks ago. We heard about it though some friends who said great things, so we made the drive from North Seattle on the weekend. First impression when we walked in was VERY clean, modern and classy. It separated itself from other spas that we have been to. The staff was very attentive to anything we needed and the service was outstanding. The equipment that they used was brand new, from the wonderful massage chairs we sat in to the equipment the staff used. I have to admit, my wife is very hard to please, but all the great recommendations were confirmed by the overall relaxing experience. It's a far drive for us from Seattle, but we have decided it's worth the trip. My wife and I definitely recommend it! read more

I've been going to this salon for a number of years and always have a good experience. Very qualified and friendly. I am there once a week and rarely go anywhere else unless I'm not in the area. I highly recommend this salon. Just had a facial today and it was wonderful. Very relaxing and totally pampering. Kim does a great job as do all the nail techs. i was not impressed by this place. and i am pretty easy to please. i just moved to the lakemont area and was in dire need of a brow wax. i saw this place next to my local grocery store and figured i would try it out...i called and they got me in right away! sweet!...then i got there and the ladies spoke in there language kind of ignoring me...which i find pretty rude. i proceeded to wait for a minute until another lady came out of the waxing room. she didnt ask me what i wanted and ignored me when i tried...she just went to town on my brows...the wax that she used was great and didnt leave me red for too long...but when i looked in the mirror she had taken off most of the ends of my brows...i didnt say anything because what can you do once its gone its gone and it will grow back...and has. i wouldnt recommend coming in for a brow wax not sure of the other services. read more

I had a gel manicure today. Worst manicure ever! Paid $35 instead of the $25 to my regular salon (needed one today - regular salon closed). The man gave me ONE coat - super thick - everything looks uneven. I asked him to redo one nail because there was a big glob of polish on the side of one nail where it dripped. Manicure was extra slow too. I did not tip and got a glare. This is my closest salon - I tried it once before and found it to be average. I decided to try it again today - bad idea! NEVER AGAIN! Awful for dip powder! The guy who does it sucks. I went 3 times for just dip and 1 time for a cold, fast and sloppy pedicure. They don't use clean tools. Watch them open the packet of clippers it's not sealed. You will see once he's done using them on you he will put the clippers back inside the envelope and reseal them. Super gross!!!they're across the street where I work. For me it was convenience and I kept telling him how to do my nails but the 3rd time I had enough, the dip guy has so idea how to do nails. He makes it either super thick, chunky and fake looking or he puts on two coats and files everything off and not the color you picked up and chips the next day. he's obsessed with filing to the point it hurts. No matter how many times I tell him to stop filing (literally, 10 times) he still doesn't listen! Awful untalented dip power guy. i will never come back 3/3 times I'm very unhappy. Go somewhere else! And on top of it all their 15 massage chairs have gigantic holes in every single one of all of them and they use cold water, worse pedicure ever and their bathroom is filthy and disgusting. This place is way over priced. At Nail Touch in Factoria Plaza for same service is WAY less like $40 less! The people at Lakemont that work there are nice but I can't understand them with the language barrier. I had a $50 gift certificate thinking it would be more than enough for a manicure pedicure. I asked the lady how much it would be for Shellac since I'd never done it before. She told me it would be the same price as a pedicure. I confirmed again about the price. After all done with my service when checking out she told me my total was $75. I couldn't believe it! I was very upset and payed the amount anyway but no way ever going back. read more

Well, I am so sorry about your tumor Leyla but to me I really do think Lakemont staff made a safety decision, It's not just for them but for other clients too. I went to this place because I had one hour and didn't get a same day appointment from my regular spa. This place is close and the remodeling looks nice. However, my experience was totally not good. The place is so much over priced given the quality of their service. I will not go back for sure. read more

What a horrible experience. Not only did I spend $150 here on my mom and I, but left a tip as well. The lady even had the audacity to complain to my sister after we left, that we left her a small tip. Throughout my pedicure, she was trying to get me to spend more money on a more expensive service even though I didn't want to. My gel manicure and pedicure started coming off only 3 days after getting them done. They usually last me 2 weeks and pedicure almost 3 weeks. I had to point out every single mistake she was making and for my mom as well and she was getting irritated about it. She didn't give us any leg or arm massage, did a horrible job on my manicure, didn't even let my nails soak in the water, and was hurrying us out the door as fast as she possibly could. They are overpriced and their service sucks. The salon looks nice, but be warned, they suck at what they do. I was visiting from Arizona, and will never be coming back there when visiting family again. I wish I could rate a 1/2 star because that's what they deserve. read more
