I hate to be the person to write a bad review it's my least favorite thing... but literally the day after I got shellac done they all peeled off except for my ring fingers. Yes I did wash my hands I handful of times that day but that usually doesn't affect my shellac to the point that it peels off. The sweet lady, Ann, who did my nails was very good at what she did but I think she was in a hurry because she had a lot of appointments coming in. My guess is that they did not put enough glue down initially, and then rushed the process. Before And after photos attached. read more

Update to my October 2024 review ... the owner called me the next day and apologized profusely over and over. She's said the confusion was I looked like someone who usually comes in and asks for the signature manicure which was what they provided to me. She refunded all my money (actually a little more than I paid) and kept apologizing. I never asked for anything and she clearly called to apologize and tell me about the refund. She never asked that I take down the review or provide an update. She was sincere and made no excuses about what happened. It was apparent to me she was genuinely upset over what happened. I'm not sure why some of the other reviews are so rough but my experience has been that this salon has a small and PERSONABLE staff of just two women. They are easygoing, welcoming, and kind. Every experience I have had is relaxing and enjoyable. I have been to the other "top rated" salons in Kirkland and Bellevue but I keep coming back to this one because they are so sweet and talented. It feels like a small town experience - family run with a certain touch of charm and genuine customer care. You won't be disappointed. I would say ignore those other haters and give it a go. It's truly a Hidden Gem. You're welcome. ;-) read more

Only giving two stars due to the great cleanliness and Covid protocols. They also got me in right away. I went in to get a French tip gel manicure ($40 plus tip) & I really wish I went somewhere else. My nails were cut crooked, gel polish uneven and the white tips were messy. read more

I don't write a lot of reviews but I love this place! I just recently moved to Bellevue and wanted to find a local gem and this place delivered! Ann is professional, nice and really talented. The salon has 4 pedicure stations (one in the back that is private so my boyfriend can come with me lol) and I think a few manicure stations. Reasonably priced (think $35, not including tip for a gel manicure). I asked for a reverse manicure and Ann worked her magic! I've been here several times now so they know my name and are always so sweet when I come by! read more

My nails were horrible!! She did nothing I asked for. I said they were too short and she said "too late" I do not recommend. I want my money back. Way too expensive! They were crooked, not the same size or shape, and uneven. Don't go here. read more

This was one of my many mother's day gifts. My son and his fiance accompanied me to the nail salon for a mani-pedi. It was fabulous. The atmosphere was so soothing and relaxing. You are greeted with a friendly smile and treated like a special guest. They didn't rush like I've witnessed at other salons. My legs and special neck massage were out of this world! I actually dozed off. The woman did an excellent job polishing my toenails. Unfortunately, there were areas on my thumbs she missed. I normally would have caught this and asked the technician to do them, but I was so relaxed I didn't notice. When I return to Seattle, I will go back! read more

I really needed an eyebrow wax and this was the only place I could find open so I figure I'd give it a try. Horrible mistake! My eye brows ended up crooked and pointy! Yuck! Tried to fix it, but still awkward until my hair grew back. Giving them 3 stars because the ladies were really friendly and the place was pretty clean and appealing. Maybe they're better at nails than waxing. read more

It was my first visit here and I don't think it will be the last! I was a little thrown at first because there was only one other woman getting her nails done when I showed up for my pedicure appointment (always makes me nervous that there is something wrong with the place), but I guess it was just a slow afternoon! There were about 5 pedicure chairs and only 2 manicure tables so it's a small salon. Even though it was a cooler day, I was surprised at how warm it was inside, almost a little stuffy but surprisingly not too smelly. They had a great selection of nail colors and after I sat down I was immediately offered something to drink. The pedicure chairs were super comfortable with awesome massage elements. I had Kim and thought she did a fantastic job. The leg massage was wonderful, she made sure all the lotion was rubbed in instead of stopping and wiping off the rest like some places. There was also a tangerine sugar scrub used earlier that smelled so good. It was very relaxing. Not sure if it's normal procedure or because I hadn't gotten a pedicure in almost a year but Kim broke out the intense foot grater and really made sure my feet were silky smooth, I appreciated the extra attention. I was surprised that she put my sandals back on before doing the paint job, how genius! I didn't have to worry about smudging polish after a quick dry with the fan. I also was allowed to relax in the comfortable pedicure chair while my toes dried instead of being pushed to an uncomfortable waiting chair like some places. One small con: I didn't notice any magazines or reading material. It's always nice catching up on the latest People while getting your toes done. Total was $28 which is more expensive than I've paid for a pedicure but still reasonable. I definitely have plans to be back! I unfortunately can't comment on the difficult parking situation because I live close and walked from home. read more

I love going there to have my nails done. It is not overpriced and specially the French nails are the best I ever had. It looks so perfect. And if you want flowers or any design in your nails you should go there. they are the best!!!!! read more

Went here today, based on Yelp reviews (this, after my dismal experiences at a few other eastside nail salons. See my reviews of Lilly's Nails in Redmond and Center Nails in Kirkland). I went in for a fill and the owner, Kim, warmly greeted me. She began to remove my polish but when two ladies entered the shop - ladies who appeared much more established (read: wealthier) than me - then Kim attended to them and began doing one of their nail jobs, leaving me in the hands of another nail tech. This other tech, instead of continuing to remove my polish with acetone, then proceded to use the electric buffer to remove all my polish from my nails. Granted, it was faster than using the acetone, but I'd never seen anyone remove polish this way. The buffer hurt me a little on my thumb nails, but I appreciated how she buffed off my errant cuticles. She was fast, too, doing my fill - way faster than any nail tech I'd ever been too. All in all, she did a very good job, and my nails looked very good. I liked the UV light, too, as opposed to the fans in other places. My polish dried quickly and evenly. I liked how the salon was clean, and I loved the hand massage and warm towels (however brief). There weren't that many polish colors to choose from, though, and I didn't like how the two older ladies were offered hot tea, but not me. Also, whereas Kim was friendly and warm, my tech didn't speak at all to me, even though I tried some light conversation initially. Also, note that there is no parking lot - only street parking. If nothing is available, one could possibly park in the lot by the downtown Bellevue park, I suppose. The prices are $2-$5 higher than other strip mall nail salons, but they're reasonable for downtown Bellevue. All in all, it was a decent - although not stellar - experience. I'll return, but I'll ask for Kim next time. read more

Very unsanitary salon- used the same clippers, nail file, and other equipment on multiple customers. The lady who did my nails used the same equipment on me as the previous customer. She also used it on the customer right after me. There was foot-skin flakes and nail flakes all over the nail file. I was nauseated but did not speak up to the lady doing my nails because it was an awkward situation to be in. After I walked out, my hand started itching, possibly because not only did she use the same equipment for each client but she appeared to use the same equipment for both the hands and feet! Had a really bad experience during my power dip here. Came out with pain and blood in my fingers. Paying around $50 and not having a proper service is really a pity. No neck massage given or any sort of massage for the hand,cuticle was not cleaned at all. Very clumsy and incomplete work done by the owner. Too much pressure applied while using the tools on my cuticles and though blood started showing up the owner did not stop,she continued doing the nail causing more pain. Omg! Who does that? Its basic human courtesy to check if you're client is ok! Unprofessional service and she does not listen to any of your requests or suggestions. Unhappy! read more

Anne and her teammate are wonderful nail technicians! They always do such beautiful work and they are always so kind. I recently went in for a shellac manicure and it unfortunately started to lift up at the corners after about a week (I guess that can happen sometimes). I went in and showed Ann and she immediately sat me down and redid it without a moments hesitation. When she finished, i offered to pay her something for her time but she refused and just said "come back again sometime!" I definitely will! Thank you Anne! read more

I chance upon this small nail salon and my girls have been begging me to bring them to one, so went in and the owners are so nice, she threw in free nail art and reduce the price for the pedicure on the girls! So lovely! They did the whole thing, soak, massage, hot stone spa then color and nail art. My girls are gushing with joy with the colorful slippers! Perfect mommy dd day! read more

Not happy at all, the lady was extremely aggressive on my cuticles, which resulted in 2 fingers (!) bleeding- not exactly the type of service you expect. On top of that, they were like all we can do is take 5 dollars off your manicure. Not happy, won't be coming back read more

Based on the Yelp reviews, I was eager to try this place. I called and made a 4:30pm appointment for a pink and white fill in. She asked me if I also wanted a pedicure, and I said yes. I got there at 4:31, said I had an appointment, and was instructed to pick out a color. After I did so, I sat down - the two people there were busy with other clients. After waiting for 10 minutes, one of the nail specialists finally looked at me. I asked how long it would take, and that I had to be done by 6pm. The woman said she wouldn't be able to do it, but could do just the pedicure. I explained that I needed the fill in and that the pedicure was something that was not my top priority (which is why I had initially mentioned only the fill in on the phone). Could she do just the fill in? No....not by 6pm. She pressured me to do just the pedicure that day, but I said no and walked out. Hmmm....isn't this why I made an appointment in the first place - to not wait and have everything take more than 90 minutes from when I had my appointment?! If a salon is going to take appointments, they should not make you wait 10 minutes only to tell you that they can't fit you in (which, BTW, was still 80 minutes - PLENTY of time for a fill in and pedicure at most places, at least those that don't double book). Fortunately, I found another nail salon that could do both that night. There are plenty of nail places out there -- too many to accept poor treatment and high pressure. read more

I got gel nails done here which lasted well over 2 weeks - this is remarkable for how rough I am with my hands. However, I did have an awkward introduction to the place, and I was put off by the lack of color selection and lack of technical expertise. We walked in, and the staff appeared really unmotivated and bored. They just kind of pointed at the bottles on the wall and shrugged, like, you just pick your color and go sit down. On the bright side,the transaction went quickly. The staff were completely neutral - not good; not bad. Barely there, really. I guess that's still better than the alternative (overbearing. sales-oriented, and chatty)? The experience was straight-forward, no frills, semi-sloppy (streaky with gaps) cheap, seemingly clean, and laid back. It's good if you want an in-and-out, basic manicure. Do not expect a welcome wagon rolled out. It's not that kind of place. You just pay and leave and don't ask too many questions. I do not think they have the capabilities for anything terribly fancy and they don't have much consultation to give. I have an oddly apathetic feeling about the place, to the point where I left recapping the whole event feeling disoriented, like I'd just been to the movies during daytime and then had to transition into afternoon. If that makes sense. (No, I will not "plan" to go back but I could see myself settling again. C'est la vie.) read more

I love this place! Unlike overpriced salons like Julep, this place is a warm, friendly, family- and locally-owned business. They have great chairs (with full massage capability!), good range of colors, and the family is adorable. And they're affordable, clean, cute, and you can walk to Belle Pastry when you're done! read more

3.5 stars $28 regular pedicure included a great leg massage in addition to the usual goodies like nail shaping and grooming. The color I chose was a light pink and was hard for the color to show up without looking a tad bit streaky. The location is prime for folks living in downtown Bellevue and service is friendly. read more

I used to go to foryournailsonly but last time I went it was so crowded and they are all in rush and got a very bad nail polish. I walked in here simply to inquire about fixing a chipped nail. There were only two customers at the time. Before I could complete my sentence, the lady said "I don't have time for this, I'm working with customers". Wow, I would have been a paying customer too but I guess that didn't matter. Very, very rude. I will never come back. read more

Terrible customer service. I've been to this nail salon before usually only to see Kevin. He's nice and works only on weekends. I've used them as a back up when my nail salon is busy. I walk in the manager or owner? says nothing. I stand there and she says "we are all busy" ... not how can I help you. She's clearly finishing someone's nails. I only need one breaking nail soaked off until I can get to my nail salon. She doesn't even ask me what service I need. Super rude on top of the lack of good nail techs in Bellevue this is the struggle. read more

Not sure why this place has so many great reviews, I can't think of 1 thing I liked! They had a big nail polish selection? That's about it! The ambience is mediocre. It's small, but not so busy, even on the weekends. I told them I was getting married the next day, so I wanted a French pedi and a pale pink shellac polish on my hands. The spa part of my pedicure was average, and she did a decent job on my toes. However. The next day it was chipped. On my wedding day. Huge fail. My manicure was HORRIBLE to say the least. I've never seen a shellac job where half the nail was painted and the other half not, and also lumpy! One side of some of my nails had what it looked like too much nail polish while some spots bare. It looked as if she did it in the dark! If I didn't have to run to my rehearsal I would have asked them to take it off and go to a different salon. It's not like this place is particularly cheap so I'm not sure why people go here. Never ever ever again!! read more

Everyone is so friendly here! Always welcomed with a smile. This place is pretty busy on the weekend, so an appointment is recommended; however, they do allow walk-ins. I've come here to do pedicures and manicures. Both of which have been great. The leg and foot scrubs and the massage oils are the best. I feel like some places skimp out on the leg and foot treatments prior to the nail painting, but this place gives you the whole shebang. I've also done a shellac here. No complaints. I only took it off when I got too tired of the color since it stayed on forever!! read more

I've been to this place many times and it is consistent. You can generally get an appt the same day and they are great. They will even put an acrylic nail on toes for soccer feet! It's really nice to have someone who is consistent and flexible with scheduling. It's comparable pricing to most places I have been. Of note: I only do pedicures, not manicures so I can't speak for that. read more

The staff was really friendly and nice when my friend and I arrived for our pedicures. They even asked for one of the gals to move spa chairs so we could sit next to each other. I was pleased that they used clean tools but the work seemed rushed and sloppy. My toenails were cut to different lengths and the polish didn't cover evenly. I asked to have the shellac from a different salon removed and they tried to pressure me into a manicure but I refused. They had to use the buffer machine (?? I have no idea what that thing is called??) to shave off the shellac and they weren't very careful; she hit the tips of my nails twice and took out big chunks. She did file them down after that though. Overall - I wasn't totally disappointed but I won't go back. Ho-hum experience. read more

This is my favorite nail spa in the entire Seattle area. I have been a customer for 8 years now. The owner, Kim has been providing excellent customer service each and everytime. I usually call and make an appointment, but have walked in on occasion. I find it is best to call ahead. All of the ladies that work at la petite belle are fantastic, I don't find that it is necessary to request anyone specific. I have never had a disappointing experience, as a matter of fact- every experience has been outstanding and I feel they value my business and treat me like a guest. Both the customer service and quality of service is outstanding. They also offer private parties where you can rent out the nail spa and bring your own wine or champagne and they can cater the food. This is so much fun for a baby shower, pre wedding event or birthday party. read more

Very poor service. I've been going here for years, the service is degrading. Pedicure was all of 15 mins, manicure same with little massage or care given to understand what I wanted to have done to the nail shape. Ended up wit a 65.00 service that was not worth the time. The pedicure was awful to say the least. The Manager was very rude and did not want to listen. Overall poor rating and will not go back. read more

There were plenty of available time slots when I made my reservation. Upon arrival, they had a large staff. The space was a bit tight, but the experience was still comfortable. I also appreciated the detailed parking instructions provided during booking and the appointment reminders. During my service, I had two staff members working on me at the same time, with one handling my hands and the other my feet. They were responsive to my requests regarding nail and cuticle trimming, which I appreciated. The only downside was that the nail polish on my hands did not fully cover my nail beds. Additionally, I only received scrubbing on one leg. I'm not sure if that was due to the combination service but I was hoping for a more thorough exfoliation to help remove dead skin from my feet. I had grown out my natural nails to a length I loved, and she used an electric file to shorten them, which caused all of my nails to break. She also cut my skin and made me bleed. When I returned and explained what happened, she seemed annoyed and again used an electric file, which caused a burning sensation. When I pulled away, she rolled her eyes at me. I refuse service with her and the relationship with the salon turned sour, guessing because she is the owner lol anyways I've taken my business elsewhere there's hundreds of great nail salons out there and better technicians that would take better care of your nails. Using an electric filer to file down nail is a big NO.

A little awkward when it's time to leave -- we sat there for a long while waiting for someone to tell us we were ready to go after the polish was dried (polish was drying for 30+ minutes) but not one came and we had to flag someone down. Complimentary drinks with service do not include any caffeine or alcohol free options besides water. Disappointing because I am unable to have caffeine or alcohol. I had the Jelly Pedicure and a manicure. I requested nail art but was told that it would be "difficult" to do without gel polish. I think the staff were just unwilling in my opinion. A good nail artist can get it done with regular polish just fine if they take the time. I just wanted one small image on two nails but was declined. I asked about marbling and was told it couldn't be done without gel. There are plenty of people that have done marbling with regular polish as well. I'm not sure this place has experienced nail artists. Manicure details: there were a lot of bubbles in the top coat and the tips of the nails were not wrapped (where some of the polish goes under the tip of the nail to protect the polish a little). I was offered a redo after I posted the images but I don't think I'll be making the trip back, as they are not near me. I'm surprised that they didn't mention the bubbles at all during the entire process or came to check on us or checked their own work. There was only 2 of us and one other person when we were there. Jelly Pedicure: relaxing and nice. I recommend this service for a good cleaning and relaxing. Overall, I wasn't really impressed with the paint job of the nail polish, especially since it was a single color with no art.

Parking is available in their small garage but only for 3 hours (validated online with a code Yuan Spa provides). Otherwise there's street parking. Arriving early is a plus to use the washroom or relax in their lounge area with snacks (wasabi peas, banana chips, and honey pretzel sticks) and hot tea. Shoutout to Jessica and Emma for our massages. They were extremely comforting and the hour flew by insanely quick. Hydrotherapy is self guided between a hot pool, cool pool, steam room, and dry sauna. All are soothing but many gyms have these as well, so I'm torn whether it's worth it. However, definitely a nice supplement to other services here in the same location, which is a fair argument. One thing I hate is the check out process. After checking out, they'll ask if "you'd like to add a gratuity" which I always feel is just a darker practice in the social moment. A good massage deserves a tip for quality service, but hydrotherapy feels like an interesting gray area. However, it's easier to just give a percentage on the total amount. On the flip side, I love how they also provide up to 30 minutes buffer after hydrotherapy (maybe also other services, but we ended on hydro) to shower and leave. Passing that half hour mark would result in a charge rounded up to the next hour.

Yoko was patient, friendly, chatty and very professional. Everything was clean and tidy and very efficient. Since she only has one client at a time she schedules accordingly and it never felt rushed. The session felt private without a bunch of people walking around. I came out with my toenails clipped and my feet pampered. Compared to other salons Yoko's prices maybe higher but I feel you get what you pay for, and I received exactly that: excellent service. If I needed to go back, I definitely would.

After each customer, they thoroughly cleaned everything with Clorox wipes, including the desk, chairs, and surrounding area. The reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because I expected a little more attention to detail for a professional service at this level. A couple of nails had small imperfections. The nail tech I had was rude and unprofessional. I told her the style I wanted and specifically asked for less chunky and thick more natural-looking and slim nails, but she was dismissive and even said, "If your nail breaks, it's not my problem," which was very off-putting. She didn't even finish my nails, she only completed one hand and then moved on to another customer. I was then passed to a different technician who seemed inexperienced and unsure of what she was doing. I got cat eye gel, and the results were extremely inconsistent. My left hand looks great, but my right hand looks terrible. The magnetic effect is uneven, and each finger looks different. On top of that, all of my nail edges are rough and poorly finished. I paid $72+20% tip for this, which is honestly not worth it. I shouldn't have even left a tip given the experience. Overall, very disappointing service and lack of professionalism. I won't be coming back.
