I live in Duluth and use Interstate Parking/Duluth Parking for monthly parking. To make a long…read morestory short, my car was towed from a lot due to a miscommunication between Interstate Parking and me. Devon, an employee at the Duluth IP office, went out of his way to sort everything out and got my car out of the towing yard within two hours. He was professional, calm, and very efficient. I will remain a thankful customer of IP/Duluth Parking for as long as I require monthly parking.

I looked at the $5 parking rate and pulled in as if I had won the lottery. If you park after 3 pm Sunday through Wednesday, and leave befote 6 am the following day, it's $5. Sweet! You have the option of paying online through the Honk app or site, or you can find the lone payment machine in the lot. I went through honkmobile.com. You do need your car's licence plate number and a credit card, along with a cell phone number. I was set. You get a quiet timer if you pay through the browser. Roughly an hour before your time expires, you get a text message. I slept through mine at 5 am. Beauty sleep prevailed. I spent a good 2.5 hours parked. It's a good place to park. The rate was right in a vibrant, safe neighbourhood. I'd return here if I need to park in this area. (393)

After 10 min of holding up was able to get my code to work no thanks to the garage. They also double charged my card for the reservation and its impossible to contact anyone to get support for a reimbursement.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites, connected to the building this parking garage is in (let's give it…read moreup for the skywalk system in this city). Rather than paying $40 per night for valet at the hotel, we paid $20 for overnight on a Friday night and $10 for overnight on a Saturday night. We were really surprised to only be charged $10 when we left on Sunday at about 11:30 am (we had put the car in the garage around 3:30 pm on Saturday).* Like most garages, there are no in-and-out privileges. The valet parking at the Embassy did come with in-and-out privileges, and they'll bring your car around to the front for you. You pay as you go in this lot though. You have to wind your way around to the third floor to get a ticket, and a good deal of the spots are reserved (which you cannot park in of course). However, even for New Year's Eve weekend, there were plenty of spots available in the first two levels. Before we knew we could get to the garage through the skywalk when we wanted to get the car on Saturday, we tried walking outside in the -0 temps. That was a mistake, and it turned out to be really misleading how to enter the building from the outside. Each locked door led to another door, which also turned out to be locked. We walked back in and asked the front desk at our hotel how to get through from the inside. The night we parked there initially, we also didn't know about the skywalk connection, but fortunately the hotel entrance was just a half block down from where we exited. *The pricing sign was really unclear, and we felt lucky to get charged only $10 for parking overnight on the weekend. There was a lot of fine print too, so I'm not convinced that the pricing is consistent. We left happy to pay only $30 total for two nights (we took the car out just for a few hours on Saturday). You also cannot park for more than 24 hours at a time without calling ahead and/or having a reserved spot.
