The salon went through a management change a few years back and has gone downhill since. When I go in it's always a different groomer. On our last appointment, I got a call from the groomer our dog was done and it took half the amount of time as previous appointments. When we got our Shih Tzu she was squinting a lot in her right eye. I call the groomer the next day because her eye was still irritated and I wanted to ask what happened, the groomer said nothing. I then took my dog to the vet and she said her eye was scrapped. The owner DID NOT accept responsibility or offer any concern or reimbursment. DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE!! Terrible. read more

I brought my puppy mill survivor pomeranian there for several years. They had been pretty good with him until they had a new employee work on my dog. His appointment was well over any hour past his usual time and I finally called. I was told he wasn't ready. They finally called he was ready. It had been over 5 hours for a simple grooming. They handed me my dog and he was shaking. I just thought he had been there a long time. I carried him to the car and put him in his carrier as I always did. When I put him down in the house, his leg collapsed. He couldn't walk. It continued for more than a day. I called the saloon and they said they would call me back. For the first time in talking with her over the years, the owner called and was defensive and rude. I took my dog to the vet and they confirmed he had a leg injury similar to being dropped. I called the saloon again and shared what my vet said. I asked them what happened while my dog was at the saloon. I understand accidents happen. I was not allowed to talk to any of the employees, only referred to the owner. She wouldn't answer why his appointment took so long or why he couldn't walk. Obviously we never returned. read more

I have a Chinese Crested Powderpuff with a lot of wavy hair. Right now it is about 2-3 inches long. He doesn't really like to be groomed a lot - he just gets up & walks away from you! How would you do with him - grooming wise? He especially needs his legs & feet groomed - with winter coming. Of course, you know, they have hair similar to humans & it just keeps growing. We used Premier Pet Salon multiple times for our coockapoo and never been disappointed. I agree the price a little bit bitting but its definitelly worth it. For me, I'd rather pay extra $20 then in Petco grooming or similar salloons but my dog will look great, smell great, and be clean. Ended up paying $100 for bath and brush, $5 nail grind and $15 de-shedding, but did they even brush my dog? Came home and my dog still had crazy amounts of loose hair coming off of him. I told them they could take all the time in the world to get him groomed because he was shedding a lot, but after only an hour of dropping him off at their salon, it doesn't even seem like they did anything to him besides give him a bath. They supposedly used a dremel to smooth down his nails, but when I came to get him, they were rough, uneven, or sharp and peeling. My biggest issue is that I paid more for their de-shedding service, but my dog still had an insane amount of hair coming off of him, and when I ran his deshedding brush on him when we got home, I was able to remove enough hair to fill one of his poop bags. Can't say I'll ever be coming back here. Not sure how busy you guys were (11/3/2018 @ ~11:30), but I said you could take all the time in the world because my dog really needed some deshedding. You only took about an hour and in most cases that would be amazing, but it doesn't seem he was brushed down very much. 2.5 * read more

We have been loyal customers since 2016. I can't imagine going any where else. Premier Pet Salon is wonderful. Everyone has always been very professional and they genuinely love our animals. Our dogs are happy and always excited to go here. They willingly walk in and greet their groomer with a HUGE hug. Our dogs love it here. With other groomers we have had to wait 4-6 hours and... our dogs are large breeds and very hairy. Other places use kennel dryers; extensive use of these can cause physical danger and emotional stress. Premier Pet Salon DOES NOT use this method. The longest we have ever waited for our dogs to be groomed is 2 hours. We have had to cancel at the last minute and have never had a problem re-booking quickly. However, in order to avoid interruption for regular grooming and because this salon is so popular, we usually book out several months in advance. I also feel it necessary to add that on a few "emergency" visits they have come in early to take care of our animals. I refer people all the time. Sometimes, they are put off by the price, but I encourage them to try it and they are happy with their service too. Yes, it costs more than other places, but these people know their breeds and the cuts that are regulation for them. Zero stars, DO NOT bring your pets here. Was charged $350 for my dog as they deemed he needed extra brushing which was not approved by me (or needed) and the timing of the visit does not add up. (The time I was charged for brushing him was 120 minutes of nonstop brushing, not including the actual bath/dry/clip etc and he wasn't there for more than 2.5 hrs). Also have observed staff standing around chatting while not paying attention to the animals while dropping kids off at dance next door. What a mess. I have taken my dog (miniature Dachshund) here few times to get the whole nine yards of grooming and each time has been grossly overpriced and the level of quality has been abysmal! The last time I took my dog to be groomed I asked for his anal glands to be expressed and nails trimmed and they didn't do either. Had to take my dog to get groomed a week later to have them done. I have a really furry cat. And that's not a euphemism. I'm a guy, you freaks. My cat - named Ravioli or Ravi for short - is a Himalayan, and when his hair gets long, it gets long. Think Axl Rose in the 80s long. And anyone who owns a long-haired cat knows the rest. Little furball tumbleweeds blow through my house, he's constantly making that horrible cat choking noise that all felines do before they throw up on the rug (and I gag, then get out the Resolve.) So I take him to Premier to get shaved. Yes, I pay a woman at this salon to shave my cat. Get your minds out of the gutter and stop laughing. Karen is really great with Ravi, and always asks exactly what I want done with him. If you don't like what you see when you get your pet back, tell her - she's really great about doing additional trimming if you don't exactly love what you see. Ravi is always calm when he leaves the shop - and he is terrified of dogs, so that's pretty impressive. Tip: Karen schedules all appointments so that pets don't get backed up and fill her shop. This is WONDERFUL because it's not loud or stressful for the animal getting groomed. This also means, however, that when she calls and says she's done, you better get over there and pick your animal up so as not to inconvenience anyone else. I've had Karen wash my dog, too. (Oh stop it already. Seriously.) She does a great job, and Piglet - the aforementioned dog - always smells great, has freshly trimmed nails, and is as cute as can be. This is a great place to have your pet kids groomed - she also sells a variety of toys, treats, pet clothes and collars. You'll feel safe leaving them with Karen, and they'll feel great when she's done with them. read more

Aeva never looked so good! :) Aeva got a bath and her nails cut. Very good job. Quick too. I also don't think anyone has gotten Aeva's nails as well before. Excellent experience each time! Our Cavalier's coat was in ruins after going to various groomers that didn't know the breed or didn't follow our requests... result was a fuzzy, dull and out of shape coat. BUT after one trip to Premier Pet Salon he was back on track! Never looked better! And it wasn't fleeting, we took him back for a maintenance & bath about 5 weeks after and he was still looking great! Yes the cost it is more, but we have a dog with long tangle-prone hair that requires a lot of hand trimming. However, we've found that it's worth every penny! Our pup looks great and stays looking that way. Appointments are easy to make, my dog loves it there, and the staff are oh so friendly! We've been bringing our dog, an english cocker spaniel we rescued, to Premier Pet Salon since we got her. Our dog is very shy, especially around new people and experiences, but Karen does a great job making her feel comfortable. Each time we go there, she gets better and better with the grooming process and she always looks and smells great afterwards. Such a cute place that exceeded my expectations. They provided one on one attention for my fur baby whose usually very anxiety ridden which was very comforting! I took my Aussie in and Erica did EXACTLY what I asked of her. He looks beautiful! The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about their craft. My guy is very timid and he did great in their care. He is a huge shedder this time of year and they really got in there and cleaned him up. The appointment was about 2.5 hours. Bath, cut, blow out, nails, glands, and a little bandana. With tip, it was high BUT, I know that it is worth the price if I divide it between two months. They are SUPER busy so book ahead and if you cancel it will take a while to get another appointment. Finally found a place that had an opening to groom my dog today after calling several places to find out they were booked for a week or so. Each place I called quoted approximately $55. I was so excited to get my dog groomed today, that I neglected to get the price to get him groomed. I was shocked an hour later when I paid the bill that it was $91. They claimed they were better than the othe places. Since I didn't have a choice, I paid the bill. They didn't offer any incentives to get me to come again. I've taken my havanese to several places over the past few years trying to find a great groomer. Finally a great result! They hand cut him and 2 weeks later he is still super soft. They do not kennel their "clients" either. Teeth and nails are great too! Amazing job - worth the extra expense! And best of all, Cha Cha doesn't seem to be afraid when he gets dropped off. All of the other groomers he has acted like he was at the vet and I was sad to leave him. He clearly likes the service here! read more

More than just an excellent grooming business! After my not-so-stellar day I locked myself out of my truck outside of Premiere Pet Salon. Dogs locked in the car waiting for their pedicures for almost an hour . Closing time came and went and the staff assured me over and over that it was no big deal- they would trim those nails as soon regardless of the time once the truck was unlocked. I'm Juniper Eva my daddies took me to this salon to be groomed. I was a puppy mill dog so am pretty nervous about things. Karen put me at my ease and I felt really comfortable. We took Juniper Eva and the end result was amazing - we were so happy that Juniper had a great time there. Karen was so understanding about how nervous she was and did everything to put her at her ease. She recommended a new harness and adjusted her collar and pointed out some lumps on Juniper and about her knees. Everything about the experience at the salon was made to make you feel comfortable and the personal service that Juniper received was great and so one on one. We have only had her 4 months so were scouring around to find someone who could look after our little one and as soon as I talked to Karen I felt at ease. On entering the salon all our worries were put at ease as she explained everything that Juniper needed. When we got the phone call to say she was done, we rushed up there to see her smiling with Karen. If anyone needs a salon with its primary motive to make the dog and owner feel comfortable and to do a fantastic job this is the one to go to. read more
