The groomer Lauren said he was matted on his ears and neck so he needed to be short. My son picked up our dog because I was at work. When I arrived home and saw my dog I was FURIOUS! He was hairless to the point you can see his bones. I paid $122 which includes de-matting but he has no hair so what was departed? Literally shaved him bald. I never received a call asking for permission to cut off all his hair. My dog doesn't even look like himself. Every time I look at him I want to cry because I'm so angry. I called to cancel his future appointment and i was asked what happened and did I want to go to another location. No THANK YOU! Will no longer be utilizing their daycare or boarder services either because I don't trust them with my fur child.

I asked again if the dog was still available, the status of my aplication for adoption, is there a highlevelof interest, etc., No response. I am a responsible dog owner. My Yorkie died in December and he was going to be 20 years old this February. I have adopted many rescues, have a fenced yard and am mostly home during the day. It is hard to understand this lack of communication or responsiveness. This is an exhausting experience and an organization that is difficult to deal with. My prayers are for the dogs that may be missing a good home because the potential adopter is never contacted or has just given up. Very sad. Note: Since my last review, I have tried again to contact Home Furever to see if this dog is still available. As of today, 02/16/2023, no response has been received.

I brought my St. Bernard 'Bill' To The Peppermint Pet Parlor in Canton Today. I am always anxious…read morewhen I know Bill will be around other dogs. His normal routine is Bark Bark Bark followed by dragging me towards the other dog he wants to meet. What happened today was extraordinary. Jaime was my groomer. As you can see from the photograph it was a first class dog grooming including having his nails dremeled ( a four person job at the vet's office because he often rebels and his size 150lbs) I watched her do it. I don't think Bill flinched. It was incredible,.Also, and the best part, she gave me several tips on how to handled him when he meets other dogs. How to introduce him. When I got home I practiced what Jaime told me. It was one of the most pleasurable days we've had out on a walk thanks to Jaime's tips. From my experience even professionals are intimidated by Bill's size and excitement. Not Jaime, she new how to handle my dog and it was a great experience for the both of us. We had worked with another trainer and had no luck. We had some very difficult discussions about rehoming him or worse. We called Bonnie and after her assessing him for about an hour, she felt very hopeful. She left us with some knowledge and tools...and we saw improvement within a week. He is a totally different dog after four training sessions with Bonnie. She was literally a life saver. Her calm demeanor, her knowledge and ability to teach are unmatched. We will now work on intermediate classes with her to get him socialized. Something we could not do before. We are so thankful to Bonnie each and every day.

Without her guidance we wouldn't have the knowledge of the best diet for our dog or ways to take care of various issues in a natural way. You can see how much she loves what she does and her students, and her students love her and are always excited to get her attention. She has taught us how to understand and communicate with our puppy and thanks to her we have a very sweet, happy and well behaved dog. We have enjoyed her puppy and adolescent classes and also love her many events for the dogs to get together and play or explore new environments. I was told by their customer service that the vets do not have to provide information because they are not federal agents. ?????? What ??? One of the biggest mistakes I ever made was trusting this man…read more I meet with the owner, explain everything that I need done and how to do it. I also leave hand written instructions as he requests. Then I leave for vacation and then find out it's not really him who shows up to watch your pet. He has people that work for him. So you have someone you have never met with keys to your house. The owner does not explain this when you sign up, he makes it appear as if he is the one visiting. He brags about all his experience and training, but what does that matter when it's not him taking care of your pet. He was never upfront about this, clearly tries to hide this fact, as you should know who is watching your pet and has access to your home. In my detailed written instructions as well as explained in person, how often I needed my automatic feeders set. I need about 15 feeders set to last 24 hours. Instead his worker just left one dish of food out total, just one. No feeders set at all. The owner said the man didn't know what to do. So why did I write down instructions and have a meeting with the owner in person? I found this out because on my first day away, I turn on my pet video cam and I notice my pet had zero feeders setup. I called the owner at around 10 PM. He didn't answer and then texted back complaining that he does not take calls this late. I explain my pet was not fed all day, he says he will have to come the next morning. He doesn't think a pet getting any food was any reason to rush over and do his job. He also complained that I was "spying on him" even though the camera is right next to the pet dishes, had they used them they would have seen it. It is not hidden, Plus it's my apartment he is working in. Had I not had this camera, he would have gotten away with total neglect of my pet for a full week and who knows if she would have survived. That night I had to have my landlord come over and feed my pet, so she wouldn't go a full day without food. My landlord calls to inform me the pet butler employee did not even lock my front door. I again call the owner to complain and he denies this and accuses my landlord of lying. Never once apologizing for this or any other mistake. My landlord has no reason to lie about such a thing. Yet, he has every reason to try to cover this up. He put all my belongings at risk, locking a door seems a pretty important step to miss when you trust someone with your home. After that call, the owner agreed to take over from this other employee. He says he will come every morning to feed my pet. The third day I check my camera and no visit by 2PM, once again all day and afternoon without my pet being fed. I call the owner and he tells me to calm down, he will be there soon. My pet was not fed all day, even though I explained to him directly my pet has health issues and needs to be fed at specific intervals. He did not care at all, he starts getting very annoyed and talking down to me. He treated me like I was in the wrong but I can't do anything about it as I am 10 hours away. Finally, My pet is not supposed to have treats due to health reasons. I explained to him that I still give her one a day, because it makes her so happy. But I keep them in a rubbermaid container with locking side clamps so she cannot access it. On the day I come home, I find the totally empty treat container, outside of the rubbermaid sitting on the countertop. He clearly had left out the whole treat container unlocked, my cat got to it, ate about 12 ounces worth of treats total. He didn't even bother to tell me what happened. He knew she had health problems and never even cared enough to inform me about the mistake. My vet told me monitor my cat for 48 hours, he knew what happened because the rubbermaid container was locked again, he just chose to not care. If you care about your pets at all, do NOT use this service. Avoid it like the plague. He never once was apologetic, or compassionate, just rude and sarcastic as soon as soon as he got the job. Avoid!
