Premier Pet Supply is basically the only pet supply store I shop at! I am not a big fan of the bigger pet stores given the quality of their service and variety in their options and I have had issues with other smaller, local pet stores as well in my area. The only pet supplies store that has consistently provided me with everything I need, positive experiences in the quality of their options and level of service, and great deals is Premier Pet Supply. Therefore, they get ALL my business! I love that everyone here is so friendly, genuinely enjoy working here, and are so knowledgeable! I love that PPS provides both "common" and more "unique" food, treat, and toy options so you get a little bit of everything. I love that they have a partnership with local organizations so you know they are passionate about being engrained within the local community. I also love that they provide pet bathing rooms at great prices for the amount of time you get in there, along with what they offer in their bathing services. I love that they have a rewards system for you to wrack up points to certain levels where you get rewarded! This company has truly thought through everything and it shows in all the products and services they offer. I was highly disappointed today w customer service today while I walked in w Two Shorkies no on greeted me. I went to grab a matching harness for my older dog it wasn't until I helped my to trying on the merchandise that a young lady asked if I needed assistance. I responded no and began to help myself . Then another young lady proceeded to follow me around the store after I replied I needed no help. As I was paying one of the young ladies proceeded to play w the dogs which caused pulling she had no idea if my dogs were biters hence I think it appropriate to engage w me before u touch my dogs. As I proceeded to pay and ask about return policy I got no receipt and no bag because she said I only purchased one item. I have a customer frequent shopper card for a reason however I will not be going to this location again . Customer service at it's worse! Unfriendly is an understatement of this business! I don't know why I kept going back, but will not in the future, There are many friendly, good pet stores in the area. On my last visit, there were 4 people in line ahead of me. Two young women at the check out. One, a blonde in her 20's, "K" was bagging for the other check out woman. I asked if she would please open the other register. She looked at me, obviously mad and then did so begrudgingly. I know she was mad, but WHY was she bagging??? They really need someone to bag 2 or 3 bones? Anyway, I'm not spending my hard earn money here! PetSmart and Pet Supplies Plus are right around the corner. I have been here twice to date- once a few days before their grand opening, and then again for their ribbon cutting and grand opening celebrations. I'm a proud dog owner, and I will say that I do spoil my doglet every now and then. I am an advocate of small businesses, so when I saw that there was a pet store in the area that wasn't a huge chain, I knew I had to stop in. My first visit here I stopped to pick up some canned dog food. They have an incredible variety of health-conscious food for both dogs and cats; and all for comparable prices. I would have thought that maybe everything would be significantly more expensive here than at a big chain like PetSmart, but this wasn't the case. They have lots of brands of pet food that I have had difficulty tracking down at other pet stores. I try to be conscious of what I eat, so I like the same for my dog. Not only did they have pet food, they also have a large selection of leashes, collars, food bowls and mats, beds, chew toys, stuffed toys, treats, grooming supplies and general health/ wellness care items. It's a really nice one-stop-shop kind of place. I'm always a little hesitant to sign up for rewards programs because of how quickly all the emails and flyers take over my inbox/ mailbox. I signed up for the Premier Pet Supply (free) reward program, and so far am very pleased with them. The service that I have gotten both visits was great. At their grand opening ceremony I found out that the guy who rang up my order during my first visit was actually one of the owners! It's always cool to see the owners being involved with day-to-day functions. They had a really nice grand opening ceremony where they had lots of local community support from organizations like the Humane Society and the Leader Dogs for the Blind. That was really cool to see. It is really obvious to me that these guys aren't just in it for the money- they really do care about our furry friends. I wish these guys nothing but success! read more

Stopped into to check out the store . Great selection of natural pet food and treats for dogs and cats. Bought my baby a tug toy , frozen rabbit treats and Carnibar treats . Adopted a pet from the huge Detroit Zoo adoption weekend and samples package included a coupon from store. I purchased a crate that I realized, after a couple of days, was too small for our dog. Although the box was thrown out, they let me exchange the crate for a bigger size, only paying the cost difference. I was even given the adoption event discount. Wow! They always keep their store stocked and clean, which are my two major criteria to be a repeat customer. This was the second time we've been to this store, having been frequent Petsmart customers with our pomeranians. The store is clean, & the staff is very attentive and friendly. It's a longer drive for us, but they have some great harnesses, crates, and toys that we haven't found elsewhere. They clearly want to earn your business, offering to price match and order that purple Puppia harness that we wanted in a size that they were out of at the time. They gave us a military discount, and the customer next to us was able to exchange some unopened canned dog food for a different flavor, even though she forgot her receipt. Good folks. Every time I go in the staff is so friendly and ready to help. My questions are always answered and if I need help finding a product (toys,treats,food, etc) they always help me find what fits my pet best. They are not only friendly to me but great with my dogs as well. The bathing service they offer is awesome. I love giving my dog a bath it's a great bonding experience but it's really a hassle to do it at home. They have everything you would need for a bath. They're prices aren't that great and very inconsistent. I think it's a little obnoxious when I call to see if they have something and what the price is that they refuse to tell me because they have a policy where they can't disclose their prices over the phone. One time they price matched amazon, and another time they refused saying it's because I get the product now instead of getting it delivered. Another time another pet store had the same food and size for 25 dollars LESS than what they were selling it at and I was told they'd only price match up to 10 dollars of it... that's not a price match. Don't promote how you price match of you don't and extreme conditions apply. I've found larger bags of the same food elsewhere for 20-30 dollars less a bag. They promote that if your pet doesn't like a treat or food you can bring it back, but that doesn't set them apart from anyone else because other pet supply stores do the same. The toys and apparel are overpriced and nothing you can't find anywhere else. read more

This is the ONLY pet store I go to for all of my dogs needs. The staff are super attentive and knowledgeable on all the products and they treat you like you're the only customer in the store. They have a partnership with the humane society and do cat adoptions along with selling small animals. They're really involved with the community considering it's a small family owned business!!! I love this store, very personable owner seems to usually be on site in the store . It is a store where the people who work there and the owner are attentive and helpful and care about you. I came in on the very first time just to look around and I had my dog with me and when I walked out, the owner came outside after me just to make sure I was OK and asked if they had done anything to make me leave or offend me - I told him no :-) quite the opposite I had only wanted to do a once over since it was my first timeHe was very kind and concerned and just an old-fashioned type of business owner even though he's quite young. Nice, clean, friendly. I won't go anywhere else. If anyone complains about how they don't carry this or that, the store is on the smaller side. They can't carry everything for everyone, but they try! For my picky cat who will only eat TUNA flavored food they only carry the smaller sized bag as there isn't room to stock and doesn't sell a lot. I had a great experience the first time I went to this store. I spent over $140.00 because I have a spoiled pup and she has 2 dog different dog foods that I use. I usually buy my dog food from amazon since I have free shipping, The owner helped us pick out a new dry dog food since my dog has developed some allergies. He even told me I could return it if my dog did not like it. She did not like it but I did not return it because I felt bad. Yesterday I returned to the store to purchase my normal dog food (Orijen Tundra). I had a $5 coupon that you could use off dog food over $30. I also had purchased a groupon for $18 for a $30 purchase. So I had 2 bags of dog food for $34.99 each and $18 dog treat. I asked the cashier if I could use the coupon for the one bag of dog food which cost $34.99 and the groupon on my other 2 items which totaled about $53.00. The owner said he would not honor that. I used the coupon and bought one bag of dog food. I will return sometime in the future to use my groupon and I will only buy one bag of dog food. Poor pup will not get her treat from this store. I understand they have a policy but it was not like I was trying to use 2 coupons on one item and I was clearly spending over the specified amounts. I am sorry that a small business has lost my business. I go through about 3 bags of Orijen Tundra a month ($104.97 x 12 = $1259.64) not to mention I do spend way more on her treats, toys and gifts.
