We rented a duplex unit from them for the month of February, 2023. After meeting with them at…read moretheir office to sign papers, get keys, etc. we went to the unit to find that the dryer squealed so loudly that it could be heard outside, the bathroom fan was off balance and also made a ruckus, the shower squealed, the egress window in the master bedroom wouldn't open, the garbage and recycling cans (that we were told to put out weekly) were nowhere to be found (that complex uses dumpsters instead!) the wifi network and password that we were given did not work, we had no key to the pool/spa area, we were given a key to the mailbox, but not told which of the 46 boxes was ours. When we returned to the office the next day with our concerns, they admitted that the wifi had been changed, but not reflected on our paperwork, they did have the code to the dumpster locks, and gave us a key they didn't know what it went to, but we should try the pool and let them know if it worked. Two days later a handyman came to open the window (we had moved a heavy dresser and fixed the broken blind so we could finally get the window open), and look at the other issues. Two weeks later another repairman came to replace the shower head and determined that the valve needed replacing. We were without water for a couple of hours and were stuck waiting for him to finish. We were left with a squealing shower that now had a steady drip. Later that week a guy came to replace the dryer belt. It only took a half hour to fix, but we couldn't use the dryer for a day, and again spent most of a day "babysitting" the repairman. Another day the wifi and TV went out. The TV came back on, but the wifi didn't work until the next day. We felt that the property management company didn't care about us. We were not given any compensation for our inconvenience. We will NEVER use Long Property Management again.

Are you a homeowner hoping to rent out your home? Is your dream to pay a property management…read morecompany, hoas, and your mortgage while your home sits empty for months and months? Then green valley rentals is the company for you! Your home will sit empty for several reasons but I will narrow it down to the two biggies. First, advertising, or lack there of. If you want your home rented, YOU will need to do the leg work as the agents at this company will post your home information to their site...and that is all. They will not use the money you give them to actively attempt to rent out your home. The second reason your home will be sitting empty for quite some time are the sparkling personalities of the staff. And by "sparkling" I mean like the sparkle of an icicle. If your potential renter is not scared away by the initial contact, the walk through with an agent who absolutely resents having to work (and generally hates people) will then seal the deal of your potential renter tucking in their tail and heading for the woods, or at least, another property management company. Now, let's say you are a renter. If you have thick skin and decide to proceed with the unfriendly agents, be prepared to pay. Remember what I said about the houses staying empty? They are going to need to make up some money somehow and guess how? From YOU! Lucky you! They have all kinds of non-refundable deposits you will to pay (are you going to be breathing in the house? That will be $150. You are going to be buying food? $300!). And your so-called refundable deposit? Kiss that baby good-bye as they have all kinds of little clauses in the contract strategically placed to chip away at that deposit (oh, you bought and ate cheese while you were renting? Hmm, it says in section e, article 2.5g that the use of cheese incurs a $500 fee). Would I recommend them to a friend? Bwahahahahahaaaa! That's funny!

However. we did have a problem with the Home warranty company Long Realty uses, American Home Shield. Our toilet and shower overflowed the day after we moved in, our policy number was not in their system. Transferred several times, 3 hours later.....someone will call me back in 48 hours. My suggestion have your agent use another Home Warranty Company, do not use American Home Shield.

I had inherited a house in Green Valley and it took a few years for me to go through the contents whenever I had a little extra time to drop in. Finally, in December I was through. I not only needed a realtor, but one who had connections to get the many repairs that the home needed done both well and reasonably. A friend in Sahuarita recommended Kirstin Ekrut. I called her from my home in Texas, and within a couple of days had the lowdown on what needed to be done and what it would cost to not only get the home move-in ready, but to present it in such a manner as to make it stand out to potential buyers. I went with Ms Ekrut in January, and by February all work had been largely completed including cleaning out and putting up for sale or donation the remaining contents. The home sold within days for asking price and it closed by the end of March. It is clear that my choice of Kirstin Ekrut to represent me was the right one. She and the agency she works for are highly recommended.

The staff is unprofessional and eager for the monthly check without inquiring about our stay. The error for mail service "use the cluster of mailboxes", incorrect day for garbage service, and the failure to notify Pueblo Estates of our arrival are just a few grievances. When asked about the $25.00 overcharge of the pet fee, we were told "I'm not arguing with you" and walked away. With respect to (and our work ethics) of the rental home's owner, we left the home immaculate. (Departure photos were taken). We will return to Green Valley, but there will be no future business with Tower Home Rentals. Steve and Donna W.

What happened to that company....I had great service, however, the service now is hideous. My friend arrived to a less than spotless home after leaving a cleaning deposit. The fans were filthy and they offered her a screwdriver to take them apart and clean them herself. The carpet is filthy and they have no plans to clean them after she was required to leave a cleaning deposit. The topper is the ac has been broken for over a week and they were supposed to send a service rep today and guess what, no show in 90 degree weather. So sorry I recommended this agency to a friend.
