After meeting with them at…read moretheir office to sign papers, get keys, etc. we went to the unit to find that the dryer squealed so loudly that it could be heard outside, the bathroom fan was off balance and also made a ruckus, the shower squealed, the egress window in the master bedroom wouldn't open, the garbage and recycling cans (that we were told to put out weekly) were nowhere to be found (that complex uses dumpsters instead!) the wifi network and password that we were given did not work, we had no key to the pool/spa area, we were given a key to the mailbox, but not told which of the 46 boxes was ours. When we returned to the office the next day with our concerns, they admitted that the wifi had been changed, but not reflected on our paperwork, they did have the code to the dumpster locks, and gave us a key they didn't know what it went to, but we should try the pool and let them know if it worked. Two days later a handyman came to open the window (we had moved a heavy dresser and fixed the broken blind so we could finally get the window open), and look at the other issues. Two weeks later another repairman came to replace the shower head and determined that the valve needed replacing. We were without water for a couple of hours and were stuck waiting for him to finish. We were left with a squealing shower that now had a steady drip. Later that week a guy came to replace the dryer belt. It only took a half hour to fix, but we couldn't use the dryer for a day, and again spent most of a day "babysitting" the repairman. Another day the wifi and TV went out. The TV came back on, but the wifi didn't work until the next day. We felt that the property management company didn't care about us. We were not given any compensation for our inconvenience. We will NEVER use Long Property Management again.

Took over a year and a half to get reimbursed and the only reason we did get it is because I would not drop the issue and emailed Annaliese probably 10 times about it And brought it up during the move out inspection or else they would have never even offered to reimburse us. And then during the move out they forced us to pay $500 for floor cleaning when there is already a non refundable deposit for cleaning on the lease agreement, and I called to ask if I could steam clean and mop it myself due to us having no carpet and one medium dog and they said that will be fine, it's mostly for carpet and people with pets. After emailing back and forth all they would say is "According to lines (whatever they are) the house needs to be returned in the way you got it." Absolutely 100% agree. But we moved in with the tile having dust and stains all over plus paint marks from their company that painted and just overall not the cleanest. Did not have a good experience with this company and will never rent through them again.

Our toilet and shower overflowed the day after we moved in, our policy number was not in their system. Transferred several times, 3 hours later.....someone will call me back in 48 hours. I called her from my home in Texas, and within a couple of days had the lowdown on what needed to be done and what it would cost to not only get the home move-in ready, but to present it in such a manner as to make it stand out to potential buyers. I went with Ms Ekrut in January, and by February all work had been largely completed including cleaning out and putting up for sale or donation the remaining contents. The home sold within days for asking price and it closed by the end of March. It is clear that my choice of Kirstin Ekrut to represent me was the right one. She and the agency she works for are highly recommended.

When asked about the $25.00 overcharge of the pet fee, we were told "I'm not arguing with you" and walked away. What happened to that company....I had great service, however, the service now is hideous. My friend arrived to a less than spotless home after leaving a cleaning deposit. The fans were filthy and they offered her a screwdriver to take them apart and clean them herself. The carpet is filthy and they have no plans to clean them after she was required to leave a cleaning deposit. The topper is the ac has been broken for over a week and they were supposed to send a service rep today and guess what, no show in 90 degree weather. So sorry I recommended this agency to a friend.

Amara ended up suggesting a place right next to the air force base and the neighbors had chickens which was not discovered by us until later. Failed to mention any of this or the fact that the military base runs airplane missions at least 5 days a week at varying hours and as early ad 4/5AM. Through her advice on the move in inspection, ended up costing me several thousand dollars. Stating that the rental companies "are only looking for the big stuff and not concerned with small details inside or outside the building". What a mistake listening to this would be. I would then go on to be nickle and dimed by the property management company which i ultimately had to be liable for due to not documenting the conditions of the property correctly on move in. They are all…read morerelated to each other and all their "contractors" (Johnny and Sons, particularly) are just handymen that work for them. I rented a higher end townhome from them in La Paloma. The house was INFESTED WITH RATS, had MOLD GROWING IN THE WALLS, and an old, decrepit AC that routinely broke down and created extremely high electric bills for me. I notified them of the sound of rats in the walls (see video) in early November, and they dragged their feet getting a guy in the attic space until January. The pest control guy said the attic was "full of rat shit". BTW, inhaling rat feces can lead to death (Hanta virus). Mold was discovered in master closet from a leak inside the wall. I had to pay for a mold inspector to come out. During remediation, rat feces and mold can be seen in the videos/pictures I'm attaching. Both my four year old son and I developed coughs and insomnia living here.. not sure if it was from the mold, rat feces, or both. To top it all off, they are now nitpicking over ridiculous things at move out, blaming me for weak water pressure in the kitchen. There is a hose spigot on the other side of the kitchen faucet wall that corroded due to 40 years of neglect and it just busted off. Johnny and sons then "jimmy rigged" the spigot, and the water pressure then nose dived in the kitchen (see corroded spigot). After all this headache (literal), they are now only giving me back half my rental deposit.. even though I left the house in immaculate condition (even paid to have carpets and floors professionally cleaned). Needless to say, I'm now taking them to court.
