The staircase to the second and third levels is just inside the main entry on the right, and there is a gender-neutral restroom there too. Staff is friendly, helpful, and easy to find. Parking is available on the street (free, no meters). I also met a very sweet and friendly shop cat wandering around. Bonus points for the shop cat. Note - as with any large building full of really cool very old building materials, there is a pervasive musty smell in the air, so if you're sensitive to those things (allergies, asthma, etc.) a mask might be a good idea.

Walking through the building, you get a throw-back feeling with the old elevator, tin ceiling, staircase, crawling floors, and door weights to close large doors. They have a great furniture gallery that is reasonably priced with items "as is." However, if you want to customize a piece, there is an increase for sure, so you have to weigh pros and cons, but SO many options! The personnel know all their products very well and are very nice and low-key. Definitely a place to check out (with a private side parking lot) for a unique shopping experience.

We walked through this historic building, checked out their furniture and carpets, and then left. Their sales people are very attentive and follow you around the store checking if you have any questions. We loved that this place not only had furniture, but we also felt like we were walking through a museum.
